            THE VILLAGE OF LORELEI

       Adam went through the journal, It had where the next keys where. The reason why he chose the village was because it was the closest one to them. “Find anything?” “Yes..Come I’ll show you..” Derek sat next to Adam. “You see it’s written in the soul of Village. Which is?” “....Oh- you are asking me? Okay Soul must be the phoenix temple..” “Phoenix palace? I’ve never heard about that.” “No one knows Adam..” Derek laughed feebly looking at the ceiling. “Derek?” Adam was confused. “Oh- I’m sorry, It’s inside the dried well in the village. The well is actually a passage to the temple.” “What is that place?” “It used to be a temple like it’s name, Then it became a graveyard for my fathers preys. Oh- It’s almost dinner time, Let’s go Adam.” His unfocused eyes and shaking hands made Adam realise he really didn’t want to talk about it. Adam faked a smile, “Yes! Let’s go.”

         Everyone except Wolf was already on the table, All of them simply sat there staring at Veronica for a moment. “Oh my lord Okay I’ll go.” They all started eating as soon as she left. Wolf heard foot steps, He closed his sketch book. “Oh? She’s coming..” He paused for a moment, “Huh? How am I so sure? Waah! If it’s really her, You can bite me.” He said looking at Nami who was sleeping. He laid on bed pretending to be asleep. “Wolf they are ca-? Oh? You are sleeping?” She went near him and tried to shake him off from sleep. “You won’t wake up? Nami-Ya tell him to wake up..” She was about to touch his cheeks but she withdrew her hand. “Yaa!! Did you die?” She placed her head on his chest, “Are you having a heart attack? Your heart is beating so fast.” “Arghh!! Fine fine let’s go.” He said waking up and running out the room. “I knew it.” She said rolling her eyes.

         All were enjoying the food, But then there is Kai who don’t even raise his head. Fox cleared her throat to get his attention, “Can you pass me the water?” Kai passed the water and went back how he used to sit. “Um..? Kai-Chan you okay?” Adam asked, Which made everyone stop eating and look at Kai. Kai was startled, “Huh? Me? Oh- I’m okay..Why did you ask?” “...Okay..?” Wolf, Derek and Veronica where trying hard to hold back their laughter. “You!” Everyone turned to Akimi,
“You don’t have to be this awkward around me..” Kai choked on his food and started coughing hard. “I’m done eating..” Kai stood up and left, Akimi went behind him. “Little kids now a days..” Said Arthur tilting his head. Agnes nodded as an approval.

         “What is wrong with you?” “Why are you following me? Just leave me alone.” Kai started running, “You know I’m faster than you..!!” Akimi shouted from behind, “I don’t care!!” “I do!!” Kai suddenly stopped and turned around. “You don’t even know me..” “But you do know me right? Why can’t we just get along?” “You wanted to get along I thought you were gonna ki- Nevermind then..”Kai came forward and put forward his hand, Akimi was about to shake it but she suddenly pulled it back. “Ah- And no walking around shirtless around me..” She shook his hand while both of them laughed. “Waah my kid had really grown up” Said Adam wiping fake tears, “Yeah...” Said Fox doing the same, standing behind the tree.

         It was time for the to leave to the village, Derek advised them all to cover their faces. “You don’t have to come with us..” Adam opined looking at Wolf’s condition. “But-” “You stay here..with...? Fox!! You will stay right?” “Huh? Me? No I want to come with you..” Adam looked around and saw everyone already left, Which leaves Veronica who was still inside the house looking for something..” Adam clenched his teeth and told Wolf, “You stay here with Veronica and I’m leaving the kids with you..” Adam turned and walked away like a penguin as he was pissed with all the situation. “Ughh We really had some fun plans at the village and we are stuck with you..” Said Akimi walking inside, Kai shrugged at Wolf and followed her.
