HOLD MY HAND THROUGH THE WAVES

CHAPTER 2

FALLEN ROSE OF FORBIDDEN GARDEN.

       "You saw a girl?" "Yes..?" "In the house?" "Yes!" "That's it we are leaving.." Said Veronica trying to go out of the house. "Leaving? To where exactly?" Rainier suddenly barged in running all wet in the rain and pulled back Veronica by her neck ribbon. "What girl?" He asked turning to Adam. "Is it a habit of yours?" "What?" "To scare people, barging in out of nowhere?" Asked Veronica removing his hand from her neck ribbon. He just smiled at her. "I hate your smile Prince pale skin.." "I've never seen you smile Princess grumpy face.." Veronica ran out in the rain. "I'll just pretend this doesn't even happen." Adam reminded Rainier his presence in the room and continued with his breakfast.

          The rain stopped, The weather was nice again. "Okay...I can't help but to notice you both look like chickens which fell in the river." "Speak for yourself.." Rainier scoffed at Adam. "Momo.. come back here.." Veronica ran after Momo, The dog Rainier got for her. A grin was visible on Rainier's face, "Why are you smiling again?" "She named her dog peach in Japanese.." "Aah so you know japanese huh? So you might know what 'Uwaki' means too" Rainier thought for a moment as Adam walked away. "HEY!! YOU!!  It means flirt isn't it?" Rainier ran after Adam. Adam ran against a girl as have was running backwards, They both fell on the ground. "She suddenly apologised to him. "No no I apologise I wasn't paying attention." consoled Adam and helped her get on her feet, He picked up her books from the ground and gave it to her. "Agnes. And you are?" "Adam." He didn't shook her hand he bowed to her instead and walked back to Rainier.

      "What's up there..?" Veronica dragged Rainier's shirt and pointed to the hilltop. "The Pastor's house, church and the forbidden garden.." "Can we go there? Adam asked. "No it's named forbidden for a reason friend.." "Not the garden of course I meant the church." Adam tried to walk up the hill but Rainier grabbed his hand. "No.. Adam we can't..It's where my brother's fiancée lives.." "The crown prince is engaged to the Pastor's daughter? "Yes, the Pastor and my father were close friends and they wanted to change their friendship to family, Then they both died in the palace fire two years ago." "I am sorry Rainier I didn't know the king passed away." "Oh it's fine Adam.. The real thing you need to hear is after Pastor died his daughter lives there with her maids arranged by my brother." "She is hidden?" "Exactly." "Why?-" "Uh huh No more questions.." Rainier dragged Adam away from there.

         "You won't believe if I say but, I met an angel today..." Agnes fell into the bed with a dreamy face. "Are you even listening Ezra?" She asked looking at her friend lying next to her. "Yeah..yeah an another boy from the market." Ezra sighed not so interested in the topic. "No..no Ezra, He was different.." "Oh really? Explain like usual.." Said Ezra still not facing Agnes. Meanwhile in the market, "You didn't say what happened last night.." Rainier asked Adam. "I saw a girl hiding between instruments and she clapped when I finished playing piano..?" "I bet it's some ghost.." "Yeah sure a ghost with sapphire blue eyes, white cloak and a pearl bracelet." Adam showed the bracelet to Rainier taking it out of his pocket. "I see.. Not a ghost then." Said Rainier receiving a smack on his head from Adam from that very moment.

       "What did you say?? Tall? Amber eyes? Long copper blonde hair?" Agnes nodded to each word Ezra said. "No this can't be right?" "This can't be what?" "The bracelet thief in the light house." "The what??" Agnes was all confused watching Ezra running around the room biting her nails. "I sneaked out yesterday and went to the light house but there was a guy playing piano, He saw me and I jumped out of the window and my bracelet went missing." "Slow down, you did what? You went outside? You met this angel guy? Wow...AND YOU ARE TELLING ME NOW?" "I didn't mean to but Yeah I did but don't tell anyone." Said Ezra shaking Agnes holding her shoulder. "No I will not but I didn't get how's he the thief when you broke into where he was staying?" Ezra gasped covering her mouth with her hand in realisation. "He probably thinks of me as a thief now...." Ezra laid on the bed covering her head with the pillow.

        "It must be hard for the pastor's daughter to stay up there forever, Right?"
"Not forever until the marriage, leave my sister in law alone and focus on the ghost Adam.." "There is no ghost Rainier..It's just a girl. I will be happy to meet her like in real."Adam seemed pretty serious. "Freak..." "Uwaki..." Adam and Rainier raised their eyebrows at each other. "I am leaving with Momo, Mother hasn't woke up as she heard about father." "I'm coming with you.." Adam got up to leave with her. "I should leave too you know before.." "Yeah your cruel palace mates decide to torture you.." They laughed and part their ways.

         "Mother..we are home.." "Come I'll serve dinner.." Florence was awake. "Mother did anyone come when we were not here?" Adam asked just to assure. "No Adam, why?" Florence questioned. "Nothing mother it's just a new place so.." "So he was wondering if the ghost lady visited again." Adam threw a spoon at Veronica's head. "It-It's nothing mother do-don't listen to her.." stammered Adam, glaring at Veronica receiving a cruel giggle from her.

       It was night again, Adam decided to walk in the sea shore instead of getting spooked between musical instruments. He walked through the sea sparkle singing,
"Our thrissles flourish'd fresh and fair,
And bonie bloom'd our roses;
But whigs cam' like a frost in June,
An' wither'd a' our posies.
Awa' whigs awa'!
Awa' whigs awa'!
Ye're but a pack o' traitor louns,
Ye'll do nae gude at a'."

     *Leaves rustling. "Who's there?" Adam walked backwards and tripped over someone's legs but she caught his hand before he fell into the water "Don't be scared.." She slowly removed her cloak making her face visible. "You are...the girl from last night?" Ezra nodded. "You..you sing very well." Ezra blurted out without knowing how to continue the conversation. "Thank you I guess..?" They both laughed awkwardly. "Wait- what am I doing? Why are you here?" "Yeah right-I think that belongs to me." Ezra pointed to her bracelet which Adam was wearing at the moment. "Oh- I swear I didn't mean to wear it but I didn't want to go lost from me in case you return and-" "Uh huh stop stop.. calm down just give it back and I'll be off." Adam took it off and gave it to her. "Were you standing there listening to me sing the whole time?" "Uh... To be honest yes, It was good and I didn't wanted to interrupt so.." "Like last day..?" "Yeah like last- NO!! It was an accident." They both just stood there scratching their necks awkwardly. Ezra noticed the lantern from hilltop, "I have to go, I hope I will meet you again musician." She put her cloak back and rushed back.

     Adam walked back to the light house, He stood on the balcony and that's when he noticed he had a clear view to the palace and hilltop from there. Adam's Pov, 
     "Why here Father? Why did I meet Rainier? And again I didn't even ask her name..*laughs at himself. I miss you father..I really do so does mother. And look how silly I am talking to the stars assuming one of them will be you."

      He sat down on balcony floor staring at the sky.  He fell asleep on the floor.

          In the forbidden garden, The royal soldiers were holding light for Minister Walter who was staring at the opened grave of King of Lorelei. "What's taking so long? Just kill everybody except the pastor and King of Miriana." "There are little kids in here." Another voice replied from inside the grave. "What's stopping you when you killed your own father?" No one talked after that. A few moments later a tall, tan skinned man covered in blood came from the opened grave stone.  He glared at Minister Walter. His yellow eyes glowed in the light of lantern, He wiped off blood from his face. Minister placed his hand on his shoulder and called his name,
                                                                                    "ARTHUR...."
