        “What do you mean ‘YES’??” “I believe there’s only one meaning to yes...?” Veronica dropped her spoon into the bowl, pushed the table and got up. “I understood from your face that you are not interested in me.” “Well your face reading skills have to improve then......June?” He moved more and more close to her and she kept on moving back, Veronica hit the wall behind her so it was made more easy for Rainier to trap her between his arms. Veronica’s face turned all red, “You are so small June..perfect for me though.” He pulled her close to his chest and continued, “My mother used to say if you pull your girl close to you, she might be able to hear your heartbeat directly. Can you hear my heartbeat?” Veronica pulled back and fixed her hair, “Well I can- No wonder, you are just bragging about your height.” “Come on June....No let me give you a proper confession then.” He held both her hands and bit his lower lips, “Miss Veronica June Aldrich, I love your Platinum eyes-” “SILVER!!” “Yeah yeah..Silver eyes, Your short golden blonde hair..., your plump smile.., and... It’s getting way too irritating isn’t it?” “Glad you noticed.” She rolled her eyes and hugged him.

           “Oooohh....Who are those Agapornis?” “The Aga...What??” Fox raised her eyebrow at Derek. “Agapornis..It’s what we call lovebirds in a scientific way..” “Haa...I almost forgot you are a rising scientist..” “Glad you are impressed..” “Sorry but I’m not..” “Stop it you both, You guys just met and started fighting already?” “Uh huh correction, We are not fighting we are arguing..” Derek interrupted Wolf “Like there’s some difference..” Wolf let out a deep sigh. “They are Rainier and Veronica.” “Elaborate about Veronica..?” “Yeah right She’s the princess of Miriana..” “Waaah it’s like I left and all the girls are taken..?” “Exactly!” Wolf and Derek patted each other’s back. “Cut it out you both..Kill me already..” Fox punched both their shoulders.

             “All done...” Adam pulled his sleeves down to his palm and wiped Ezra’s face. “All done? I ate it all? You didn’t get one?” “It’s okay...Haha...” He tried to calm Ezra down who was panicking even for this small thing.  “I have a question.” “Go ahead..” “Well do you think I look fine?” Adam stared at her for some moment processing what she just asked. “Do I think you are pretty? That’s the question?” “No that’s-” She saw him glaring at her as if he already know, “Fine! That’s the question.” “Well yes.” “Just yes?” “I am not Rainier you know..” “Ppft- True.”

        “I have plans..Oops I seriously forgot I gotta go..” Derek stopped Fox by grabbing her hand, “What? You got plans with your future husband too?” “Oh NoIt’s just that I found a better brother and friend than you guys.” Fox left them both behind. “Well that hurts- Who is she talking about?” “Her admirer Kai..” “Kai..?” “Woah woah he is fifteen...” “Aaaah..Ah I got it wrong for a second.” “What?” "Never mind. As we have nothing else to do let’s follow her..” “Speak for yoursel-” Wolf was being dragged by Derek even before he knew. “Arghh Derek!!” “Shut up and come with me.” “FINE!!”

         “I wanna take you somewhere as I promised earlier..” “Where?” Veronica’s eyes were shining than usual, “You know.. the heart lake?” “Oh- My- Lord- YES!” “So..you want t-” “Let’s go lead the way..Oh wait- Come Momo..” Veronica picked up Momo and walked ahead. “You coming or what?” “uh? Ye-yes.” Rainier moved fast to catch up with her. “You scared of animals?” “No..?Why?” “What about partial animals?” “What do- do you mean?” “I heard there are rumours about werewolfs in the forest.” Rainier did a good job scaring her and moved ahead. “What? H- Hey wait for me!” “Here hold my hand..” She held it without any second thoughts. “Well that was smooth.” “What?” “Nothing.” Luckily Veronica didn’t hear it first time. Her hand felt so small in his arms, He enjoyed her waving to small rabbits along the way and the way she running around.

        “That old man is not the one we should be afraid of Adam..” “Then who?” “His son I heard he is coming tomorrow.” “He has a son?” “Yeah even though he has two or three wives he only have a son left.” “Probably killed the rest.” “It’s going to get worse when Nolan returns they’ll start the game.” “Excuse me madam would you like to try some of these?” A seller approached them out of nowhere. “No thank you.” They moved away from the crowd. “Why did I even sneak out with you?” Adam laughed at her, “You wanted to remember?” “Ah right.” “Will you save my father?” Adam turned to her at the sudden question, “Can you promise me that you will save my father?” “Yes I do. I promise.” Ezra raised her pinky towards him, They linked their pinky, “Join the thumb...” “For what??” Adam was giving her a confused look, “For that we can seal out promise..” “Oh- Oooh okay.” They sealed with their thumb. “You are so childish..” “You are creeper” “Fair enough.” Adam placed his hand around her shoulders and they both kept moving.

         “Will you slow down a bit??” Rainier asked panting heavily. “Tired already sloth?” “No- it’s not that..there’s a high chance of falling-” “Arrghhh” “‘Down’. Are you alright?” Rainier helped her get back on her feet.” “Yeah yeah perfectly splendid.” Rainier picked up leaves from her head and checked if she’s hurt somewhere. “I told you to be careful.” He flicked her forehead. “Ouch That hurts.” “Good.” He brushed off dust from her gown.

          “Why...Are..*gasp* We not... There yet?” Derek was clinging on wolf. “It was your idea..Better be worth it..” Said Wolf pulling his knife in and placing it back. “Haha..It will be..I guess?” Wolf continued to drag him around. “Aarrgghh Holy-” “Arghhhhh” Two other screaming voices were familiar ones too. Both of them were lying on the ground, eyes closed and praying hands, “P-p-please don’t kill us Werewolf people-” “Yeah.. yeah I will never joke about you any more.” “Yaa Rainier!” Wolf tapped Rainier’s leg with his leg. Rainier and Veronica opened their eyes in realisation. “Hehe This blue eyes dude really got me-” Veronica scratched her neck. “When did you come back Derek?” “Today..?” “Good..Where are you both headed?” “Aaargh!! We lost her.” Derek sat down with hands on his head.


           “Well I can hear water..Birds? And wind?” “Just guess the place Adam..”
“Can I please remove the cloth from my eyes now? I’ve already fallen thrice coming all the way here.” “Okay..okay, You fell four times though.” “The heart lake...” “So romantic of you guys....”After hearing that annoyed tone They both turned to see Fox and Kai having a picnic literally three meters away. “Don’t tell me you didn’t see them sitting there..?” “I was focused on the surprise.” “...Okay....” Adam let out a deep sigh, “Heyy..What are you guys doing here..?” “Eating..Wanna join?” “Sure!” Ezra moved towards them even before Adam could reply.

          “I didn’t know you could cook..” “What happened to the word name privacy?” Fox already knew that voice. “It’s like a little group picnic now.” Veronica, Ezra and Derek seemed so happy. “I hope we haven’t met yet Prince of Miriana..” “Call me Adam.” Derek and Adam shook hands.  “We totally left Agnes behind.” Wolf sighed. “Well She’ll probably be at the palace now as he is coming back.” “Who is?” “You didn’t hear? Nolan is coming..”
