CHAPTER 13

    THE FEELING CALLED EUPHORIA..

           "Wait for me Rainier..." Veronica was trying hard to catch up with Rainier, Even his walking felt like running to her. "Where are we going? Why are you not saying anything?" Rainier just gave her a look and continued his walking. Veronica made that signature grumpy face and sat on underneath a tree. "I will not move an inch from here." All she achieved from that was a wide grin on his face. Veronica's Pov, "Oh my lord why is he giving me that face!!??, Oh- he is walking towards me. Stay calm lady! Pull yourself together!" "So you are telling me that you won't move on your own?" Hearing his voice she suddenly got out of her thought. "Eh? What?" "I asked you are not gonna move on your own?" She nodded still not facing him. "Fine then......" He sat down beside her. "Do you mind?" "Do-do I mi-mind what?" Veronica stuttered. He gave her a wink and laid his head on her lap. She was speechless for sometime but she asked, "What are you doing?" No answer, "Don't tell me you are asleep..Ced?" He fell asleep as his head on her lap and body on the fine grass. A warm smile appeared on her face, He caressed his cheek and admired his face. "You really are a good man Ced.."

        "Why-why are you you pushing me inside the wardrobe?" "Just listen to me
Adam!" She slammed the door at his face. "Ezra is someone here?" She turned to see Arthur. She let out a sigh of relief, "I'm glad it's you.." He placed his finger on her lips and gently tilted his head to the door. She saw Walter was standing there. "Say less Milady...I came here to give you this." Arthur started his act right away. "Ah? Aah..Yes My highness Thank you.." They both were acting pretty well that Walter left. Arthur squatted down in front of her with hands on his head. "I can't find Agnes..." "I was about to ask you.." "So you don't know either?" His eyes were all widened. "Noo...?" Arthur went lost in his thoughts, still squatting. Arthur fell down out of fear when he suddenly heard a loud thud next to the wardrobe. Ezra burst out laughing as she saw Adam fell down trying to eavesdrop their conversation. "YOU!!?? What in the world are you doing here?" "Calm down..You have a girl friend.." "Ah~ Right- Wait what? No what in the world are you doing in the palace?" "Visiting someone...?" Adam gave Arthur an awkward smile and shrugged. "You do realise you can't go back, right?" Asked Arthur looking out of the window. "EhWhy?" When he turned to the window he saw the night security were all around the palace.

        "Milady, This is where Prince Rainier and Mirianian's live." "You can just call me mother Wolf." Wolf guided Regina to Kai's house. "Who is there?" Florence opened the door and saw Regina, "Regina..?" "I know this voice..Florence?" They hugged each other. "I should just leave now.." Wolf turned to leave but Florence stopped him, "Son stay with us till Adam and Rainier comes back." "Sure...My-" "Mother.." Florence interrupted him from calling her highness. She patted his head and invited him inside. "Brother Wolf?" Kai was excited to see him here. "You know me?" "Of course I know you...I memorise all cool people.." "Fair enough." They both shook hands. "I can't believe you-" Fox barged in as she was tying the horses outside, She froze for a moment when she saw everyone was having dinner at the table. "My apologise.." She bowed her head, "Come here...We have space for you.." Florence invited her to sit beside her. "No offence but, I think she is cooler than you." Kai whispered to Wolf. 

          Veronica fell asleep leaning her head on the tree. Rainier slowly opened his eyes, "Is she sleeping? Yaa are you sleeping?" It was almost midnight all he could hear was some crickets and owls. She sat up and moved closer to her, He moved her hair from her face using his fingers. Veronica moved her head and placed in on his chest. He placed his hand around her shoulder to hold her close, "Are you going to remain asleep?...............Who am I talking to?" He laughed at himself. "Hmm...Your hair is still disturbing your sleep huh?" He removed his bracelet and tied her hair with it. "Now it's better.." He glazed at her for sometime but it was too late, "Let's get you home now.." He picked her up in bridal style and started walking. "I'm telling you even if you are not listening..Don't fall asleep outside like this, There is a huge chance someone will kidnap you and you'll never know until you wake up."


          "You will have to stay here.." Arthur opined, "Yeah yeah with him.." Ezra said looking at Arthur. "Eh? With me..? No no He is not staying in my room..He will be staying right here." Arthur completely rejected Ezra's offer. Adam just stood there staring at them both. "Fine...You can stay here.." "Yes!" Arthur was happy and was about to leave but he turned to Adam and winked. Adam widened his eyes at Arthur. "You can sleep on the other side of the bed.." Said Ezra before covering her whole body with her blanket. "You look like a worm? Or a corpse?" "I don't care just SLEEP!!" She laid down facing to opposite side not looking at her. Ezra fell asleep pretty fast. Adam felt a hand on his waist, He turned around and saw Ezra peacefully sleeping with hands around him. "How can you sleep like this?" "Mmm? What how many sheeps like this?" "You talk in sleep." He giggled "And you sleep with half eyes open.." "Be.....Quite~" Her small voice made him smile more. She placed her leg around him, "You are gonna regret all this when you wake up.." He laid still like a stick as he couldn't sleep.

        As Kai left the backdoor open Rainier slowly got inside and tried hard to make to sound. While passing through the living room he saw Wolf and Kai sleeping on the floor hugging each other, "Ppft- This is not something you see everyday~" He walked past them not waking anybody. He placed her gently on her bed and sat near the window, That's when he noticed Hercules standing outside. "Hercules??" He rushed out and took a closer look. "It's you....How did you get here? Never mind.." He placed his head on It's head. Hercules was an Andalusian horse his father bought for him when he was 10. It was black in colour and he was something Rainier adored so much. "Let's go for a ride..."

         It was a new day again, "New hopes, new expectations, But....same old damn people.." All of them except Adam, Rainier, and Veronica were having breakfast. "Who in the hell is saying stupid jokes early in the morning." Veronica stretched her arm and yawned. "Oh- How did I reach here? Aaaaaah It was all a dream I knew it!" She was pretty happy until she realised she was still wearing Rainier's jacket. Her hair was tied, She untied it and found out it was tied with Rainier's thread bracelet. Her jaw dropped as it was gonna fall down from her face, Flashbacks from last night ran through her head. "Wait- What happened after I fell asleep? Oh nooo.." She covered her red face with her hands. "What's wrong?" Adam almost gave her a heart attack. "Why Adam? Why the window?" She gave him a glare but he just shrugged it off.

        As sunlight kissed her beautiful face she rubbed her eyes and woke up. Out of realisation she jumped off the bed and looked for Adam, But he wasn't there. "OhDid he just leave without telling me?" She pouted and looked in the mirror, She noticed there was a necklace at her neck which Adam wore across her neck last night when she was sleeping. An automatic smile was visible on her face, She looked for her belongings in the table but instead she found Adam's letter, "Goodmorning ...I hope you slept well cause I didn't your hands and legs were on me. Well, I'll come back though hope you liked my gift. Any ways you look beautiful when you sleep and Uhm...I love you." "Arghh why so adorable!!!Wait- what?? I put legs and hands around him??? Aaarghh Ezra you idiot." She buried her face in the letter.

          "Good morning long hair.." "It's not as long as you honey eyes.." Arthur replied to the voice half asleep. He suddenly jumped up in realisation, "Agnes??" She opened her arms and he ran up to to her and lifted her up hugging her close.

          "AISSHH GIRL YOU SCARED ME.."
