"I'll meet you guys there" the lawyer said shaking Kentrells hand and he nodded before she left the house.
Adriana hooked me up with a lawyer that her brother used one time. According to her she's really good and she seems nice.
"Does this look fine?" I asked and Kentrell nodded. "Ok Kayla is picking up Desire and the guys are gonna meet us there....can you just tell me what they're accusing you of?"
"It don't matter" Kentrell shrugged and I mean mugged him. "Ima find out anyways when we get there" I said and he rubbed his hand down the side of his face as I walked into the kitchen and grabbed a bottle of water.
"I know I ain't your girl or anything but if ima be living here can you at least be honest with me?" I asked walking back into the living room and sitting beside Kentrell.
"They charging me with murder" he said and my eyes slightly widened. "Murder Kentrell?!" I asked standing up and he looked up at me. "Lani I-"
"Did you do it?" I asked and Kentrell didn't respond. "REALLY KENTRELL?!"
"I DIDNT DO IT OK?" He yelled back standing up and looking down at me.
Not gon lie he got a bitch scared for life right now. Especially because his eyes kinda changed colors a little.
"Let's just go" he said before walking out the front door and slamming it.
I let out a breath in relief before grabbing my purse and everything.
Once we got to the court room it took forever for them to call Kentrell's case. I sat beside Three and Ben as we waited for the judge to get to the fucking point.
"Mr. Kentrell Smith" the judge said before Kentrell and the lawyer stood up and walked over to the judge. "You have been accused of first degree murder which can get you ten years but since there is no REAL evidence I'm giving you seven months house arrest" the judge said and our lawyer nodded before we were all released.
"You have a hour to get home, you can only go out front, your house and out back with this on" Kentrell's officer said and he nodded.
|Two Hours later|
"Hey!" Adriana said walking in the house and seeing Kentrell laying on the couch watching tv. "Thanks again for the lawyer, she was really good" I said closing the front door and Adriana smiled nodding, "I told y'all she's the best"
"Yet I'm still laid up with a fucking bracelet on my ankle" Kentrell rolled his eyes and Adriana walked behind him and smacked the back of his head. "At least you ain't in prison little boy"
