"I'll see you back here September first" the doctor said and Kailani nodded before standing up. We walked out the office and Kailani was mad quiet. "You good?" I asked and she nodded.
"Ight well you want some food?" I asked and she shook her head no. "For real?"
"Yeah I'm not hungry" she mumbled. "Ok now you acting weird" I said before the press approached us and started taking pictures. "Kailani, Kentrell!" They yelled while Kailani tried looking away and I pushed past them with my arm around Kailani.
We got into the truck and the driver pulled off. "You sure your good?"
"Yeah I just really don't feel good" she lied and I sucked my teeth. "Ight whatever"
Once we got to the house Ben and Adriana was there. "Don't y'all niggas got houses?" I asked and Ben nodded as they watch tv. "Hey Lani boo" Adriana said but Kailani ignored her and walked into her room before slamming the door.
"What you do to my bestie?" Adriana asked while Ben turned the tv slightly down. "I ain't do shit all I did was take her to the appointment, offer her food and we got back here"
"Ugh" Adriana said before walking upstairs to Kailani's room. "Yo wassup" I said dapping Ben up and sitting beside him. "What you do?"
"Shit I ain't even do nothing, I don't know why she tripping" I shrugged while Ben nodded. "Maybe it's just the pregnancy" he said and I nodded.
|Same day & Time| • Kailani's POV:
"Are you gonna tell me what's wrong or sit there with a attitude?" Adriana asked and I sucked my teeth. "Remember when Kentrell said he was going out last night and ain't get back until like one am?" I asked while Adriana nodded.
"Please don't tell me he cheated"
"I honestly don't know...look" I said showing her a picture someone on Instagram sent me from last night.

"I know he did not- with her- I-"
"Who is 'her'?" I asked Adriana in confusion. "She goes by young blasian" Adriana said rolling her eyes while I scrunched my face. "Please tell me you're joking"
"Girl I wish I was, anyways her and Kentrell dated at one point. She cheated on him but he even wrote a song about her called blasian"
"PLEASE tell me you're joking. I know this girl ain't tryna flex that she's-"
"Yes she is. Girl anyways I ain't never seen this picture before so just ask him about it. Ben and me will leave right now" she said and I nodded.
We walked downstairs before Ben and Adriana left. I sat beside Kentrell with my phone in my hand and he wouldn't even look at me. "Please don't start Kentrell, I'm really stressed out and we needa talk" I said before he turned to look at me.
"Someone sent me something on Instagram and please don't lie to me-"
"You gonna believe some random over your own boyfriend?" He asked and I gave him a sympathetic look. "Just show me" he sighed and I showed him the picture.
Kentrell froze before slowly looking up at me. "Is this where you were last night-"
"No! No no, baby I was not with her" he said shaking his head and I stayed quiet. "Baby I promise you I wasn't with Alexis" he said and I slightly nodded before getting up.
"Ok" I said quietly. "Where you going?"
"I really don't feel good....I just want to lay down" I said and Kentrell nodded as I walked upstairs to my room. I locked myself in there and sat on the bed in silence.
I'm trying to trust him and I should know he wouldn't cheat on me, but the way he froze seeing the picture then Adriana saying she never saw that picture when him and the girl was dating. It doesn't make it any better when he's coming home at one in the morning.
I didn't even notice tears started rolling down my face until Kentrell knocked on my bedroom door. I quickly wiped my face and got up. I stood by the door and didn't unlock it.
"Lani I didn't cheat...." Kentrell said quietly standing by the door. "The picture- Alexis....she's not important to me now. The most important thing to me right now is you and Desire" he continued to say. "Kailani I only fuck with you" he said and those words brought back so many memories.

"Kailani open this fucking door!" Kentrell yelled as Kailani shook her head and paced the floor of his room while tears fell down her face.
"Kailani I'm not fucking playing!" He yelled again before she unlocked the door and he stormed in. "Why the fuck you acting like this?!"
"Kentrell I'm DONE, we're DONE, I can't keep doing this with you" she cried. "Doing what Kailani?!"
"Every time I turn around I'm the only looking stupid. We ain't even dating so I don't know why you feel the need to make it seem like we're together then go fuck other bitches"
"KAILANI I ONLY FUCK WITH YOU"
"Stop lying!" Kailani cried before Kentrell grabbed her up by her arm. "Kentrell let go" Kailani cried. She was seeing a side of Kentrell she had never seen before. "Kentrell my arm hurts STOP" she said trying to push him away.
"You ain't leaving me" Kentrell argued still with a grip on Kailani's arm. Kentrell brought both pain and love into her life. As much as she cared about him she didn't like the way he treated her. He was always disrespecting her and she was tired of it.
"Kentrell stop" Kailani said hitting him and he let go of her. "I'm done, I just can't-"
"Kailani stop! You ain't going anywhere" Kentrell said while Kailani grabbed her phone and purse. "KAILANI" Kentrell said before throwing her phone to the wall causing it to break and Kailani slightly jumped.
"I hate you Kentrell! I can't do this anymore" Kailani said before walking out the room. "Bet, the bitches I been fucking better than yo ugly ass anyways!" Kentrell yelled before Kailani left the house and slammed the door.

I unlocked the door and Kentrell looked down at me. "I'm trying to trust you" I mumbled and he nodded pulling me into a hug.
"Lani you just stressed. You know I wouldn't do some shit like that to you" he said and I slightly nodded with my head on his chest.
