"Kamari little ass" KD said and I nodded before Kailani walked into the house with Kamari and Desire. "Hey daddy" Desire said before hopping into my lap. "Wassup little Top" KD said giving Desire a high five.
"Kamari go to Uncle KD" Kailani said before Kamari started walking towards KD.
"What's up little man" KD said picking him up. "Kentrell we gotta do a pop up at that club tonight" Kailani said and I nodded before she walked upstairs. "Who babysitting?"
"You and Three" I said while KD nodded. "How Jania and Kacey holding up?"
"They good, they coming over tomorrow" I said before there was a knock on the door. I opened it and Three walked inside.
"Wassup" I said dapping him up. "Hi Uncle Three!" Desire said before he picked her up. "Wassup lil girl" he said and she smiled. "Where Kailani?"
"She went upstairs" I said and he nodded before sitting on the couch. "I thought Ben was coming over"
"Him and Adriana going through it" I said closing the front door. "Damn they still ain't together?" KD asked and I shook my head no. "Nah after Adriana caught him with that other girl she was over the whole situation. I think after her miscarriage was when she decided she couldn't be with him" I explained.
Ben and Adriana broke up a few months ago. Then Adriana got pregnant by him but had a miscarriage. She ain't been the same ever since.
"Hey y'all" Kailani said walking down the steps. "Where you going?"
"Adriana wants me to come over" she said and I nodded. "Desire you staying here?" She asked and Desire nodded her head. "Ok come on Kamari" Kailani said before picking up our son. "I'll be back before we have to go" she said kissing my cheek and I nodded before she left the house.
|Minutes later| • Kailani's POV:
"Hey baby" Adriana said before picking up Kamari. "How you been?" I asked closing her front door and she sat on the couch. "Fine....you so cute" she said smiling at Kamari.
"Ok are you ready to tell me the real answer?" I asked and she sighed. "I'm tired Kailani. I want my boyfriend back....I want my baby back" she said and I heard her voice crack. "I just feel like I've lost everything" she said before smiling back at Kamari.
I sat beside her and let out a breath. "Adri you can get Ben back-"
"It's not the same. He's not the same" she cut me off. "He took losing the baby as his fault. The doctor said it was stress and now Ben is blaming himself. I just don't know what to do" she said before handing Kamari back to me.
"Adri listen.....Ben loves you and you love him. Y'all obviously belong together. I know you might still be upset with him for the cheating but you guys need to work this out" I said and she slightly nodded. "You're right"
"I know" I said standing up with Kamari falling asleep on me. "Now come on, you can chill at my house so you won't be alone here" I said and she nodded before we walked upstairs to her room and she changed.
Me : Invite Ben over, Adri coming over 👀

"Does this look fine?" Adriana asked and I nodded. "Yeah that's cute now come on, I gotta get ready to do a pop up at this club"
"Who's watching the kids?"
"Three, KD and now you" I smiled and she slightly nodded before we left her house.
Once we got back to me and Kentrell's house Adriana stayed in the living room with Three, KD and the kids while I got dressed. "Ben just got here" Kentrell said popping his head In my room.
"Bet, can you help me zip this?" I asked and he nodded before walking over and zipping the back of my dress.
"Thanks" I said smiling and Kentrell nodded. "You think this gonna work?" He asked and I nodded. "Yeah they not gonna argue with the kids right there."
"True they better not fuck in here though" Kentrell said rolling his eyes while I laughed. "They won't now hurry up and get dressed so we can leave" I said and Kentrell nodded while I walked out the room. "How do I look?" I asked everyone in the living room. "Pretty mommy!" Desire said.
"Hey Ben" I said before giving him a side hug. "You knew he was coming?" Adriana asked lowkey mean mugging me. "I have no idea what you're talking about" I shrugged while Three and KD laughed.
"Anyways Kentrell and I finna go" I said and everyone nodded. "Watch my kids or else" I warned and the guys nodded. "Ima go home-"
"No you're staying" I said pointing to the couch a while Adriana sucked her teeth before sitting down.
"You'll be fine" I said waving her off before looking at my phone and checking Snapchat.

Me: Abt to leave the house hbu
Jania💗: Chilling, where u going?
Me: Kentrell and I doing a pop up at this club
Jania💗: oh ok text me when u get back
Me : ok I love u💚
Jania💗: I love u too Lani!💚
"Bae I'm ready" Kentrell said walking downstairs and I nodded.
Kentrell's POV:
"Ok, guys we'll be back later tonight" Kailani said while they nodded. "There's pizza in the fridge" I said before we left the house and I locked the door.
Kailani got into my car before I got In and checked my phone. "You sent me the address?" I asked and Kailani nodded her head. "Do you think Ben and Adriana gonna get back together?"
"I don't know Lani, let's just hope for the best" I said putting the address into my gps before I got a text message from a unknown number.
Unknown: I know what you did to the people that shot your wife. I'm coming for you.
The fuck?
"You ok?" Kailani asked and I nodded slowly. "Yeah I'm good, let's go" I said before putting the directions back up and pulling off.
