A couple Darren and Brooke were driving back to Mystic Falls from a concert. Darren:"An hour's drive to hear that crap. You know, it wasn't even a band. A guy with a guitar. An hour each way." Brooke:"He wasn't that bad." Darren:"He sounded like James Blunt." Brooke:"What's wrong with James Blunt?" Darren:"We already have a James Blunt, we don't need another one." Brooke:"So, why did you come?" Darren:"Because I love you." Brooke:"Nicely done." She looks out the window,"what's with all the fog?" Darren:"It'll clear up in a second." Brooke sees a man in the road,"WATCH OUT!" But it was too late, they ran over the man and swerved the car to a stop. Darren turned to his girlfriend,"Are you okay?" Brooke was crying,"We just hit someone! Oh my god!!" Darren:"Call for help." He got out of the car. Brooke got her phone out and is calling for help,"come on, come on!" Darren walks closer to the man,"Please be alive." He kneels down to take a look,"oh, my god." The man wakes up and bites him in the neck. Later, Brooke tried to get a signal but failed,"There's no signal! Darren! Darren?" She got out of the car. Something dropped Darren's dead body on the car, and Brooke screamed and runs, but she then gets dragged up into the sky.

I was writing in my diary,"dear diary, today will be different. It has to be. I will smile, and it will be believeable. My smile will say "I'm fine, thank you." Yes, I feel much better." I will no longer be the sad little girl who lost her parents. I will start fresh, be someone needs. It's the only way I'll make it through." I close the diary, and put it behind my mermaid statue that my mom got me. In the kitchen. Jenna:"toast. I can make toast." Elena:"it's all about the coffee, Aunt Jenna." She smiles. I walked downstairs and I just smiled a little. Elena mouthed to me,"are you okay?" I just shook my head. Then our little brother Jeremy came downstairs,"is there coffee?" He took Elena's mug out of her hand. Jenna:"your first day of school and I'm totally unprepared. Lunch money?" She took two five dollar bills out of her purse. Jeremy took the money instead. Nevaeh:"I'm fine." Jenna:"Anything else? Number two pencil? What am I missing?" Nevaeh:"don't you have that big presentation today." Jenna looks at her watch,"I'm meeting with my thesis advisor at...now. Crap!" Elena:"then go. We'll be fine." Jenna left the house. I turned to Jeremy,"you okay?" Jeremy:"don't start." Then he left the house. I sighed and the TV was on behind me, saying that a couple Brooke and Darren was missing.
