Bonnie's Car
Bonnie is driving in her car, and I was sitting in the passenger seat.
Bonnie:"He's bad news, Nevaeh. He really scared me."
Nevaeh:"You have to stay as far away from Damon as possible."
Bonnie:"I'm trying! He just keeps popping up."
Nevaeh:"We don't want you to be alone tonight. You're sleeping at my place tonight, we can even make a whole night of it."
Bonnie then pulls the car over to the side of the road and got out of the car.
Nevaeh:"Whoa! What are you doing?"
Bonnie rips her necklace off and throws it into the field, and got back into the car.
Nevaeh:"Are you okay?"
Bonnie:"Now I am. All me problems were because of that thing. I cant believe I didn't do that sooner."
Nevaeh:"What's your Grams going to say?"
Bonnie:"Grams isn't the one being haunted be a hundred and fifty year old ghost, is she?"
I sighed,"Okay, then."
Then Bonnie drive off.

Mystic Grill
Jenna and Jeremy are sitting at a booth at the grill. Jenna was looking at Alaric at another table.
Jenna:"I like a man who can dine alone. A quiet strength."
Jeremy:"I thought you were still in that whole Logan-depression thing."
Jenna smiles,"I've sworn off men forever, but it doesn't mean I can't observe them from a safe distance."
Jeremy:"Well, I can introduce you."

Gilbert Residence
I answered the door and it was Stefan, I stepped onto the porch and closed the door. We sat on the the porch swing.
Nevaeh:"Hey. Thanks for coming. I wouldn't have called if it wasn't important."
Stefan:"I know that."
Nevaeh:"He threatened her Stefan." I told him what happened.
Stefan:"What would Damon want with Bonnie?"
Nevaeh:"She has this necklace. Caroline got it from Damon, and she gave it to Bonnie, and now Damon wants it back. He's tormenting her."
Stefan:"Over a necklace?"
Nevaeh:"It's not just any necklace. It has to do with Bonnie's heritage. It belonged to one of her ancestors who lived here during the civil war..." I them realized that Stefan and Damon were alive then. "When you and Damon lived here."
Stefan looks uncomfortable,"Her name was Emily. She was Isabela's handmaiden and a very powerful witch."
I was surprised,"You know? About Bonnie?"
Stefan:"The first night that you invited me over for dinner, I made the connection."
Nevaeh:"And now Damon knows, and for some reason he wants that necklace."
Stefan:"What does it look like?"
Nevaeh:"It's an antique iron setting with a—"
Stefan:"—with an amber crystal. I know it. It belonged to Isabela. Emily have it to her, which means that..."
Nevaeh:"What?"
Stefan was confused,"I don't know, but I'm gonna find out. Let me talk to Damon." He got back from his seat on the porch swing.
Nevaeh:"Will he tell you?" I asked.
Stefan:"I'll get it out of him."

Mystic Grill
Jeremy and Jenna continue to have dinner and talk about their day.
Jenna:"Have you picked out a topic yet?"
Jeremy:"No, not yet. It's gonna be local and non-internet research, so..."
Jenna:"That's easy! You've got all your dad's stuff."
Jeremy:"What stuff?"
Jenna:"How the Gilberts came over on the Mayflower" stuff, all the family lineage from way back. Your dad really loved all that family history stuff. It's all boxed up in the closet."
Alaric then walks up to their table.
Jeremy:"Mr. Saltzman."
Alaric:"Jeremy. What's up, man?"
Jeremy:"This is my aunt, Jenna."
Alaric shakes her hand,"Alaric Saltzman. It's nice to meet you."
Jenna:"Jeremy was just telling me about his paper. Thanks for giving him another chance."
Alaric:"It's my first day. I wanted to make a good impression."

Damon is drinking at the bar, and Stefan walks up to him.
Stefan mocking Damon,"So, Stefan...you know, I've been thinking. I think we should start over, give this brother thing another chance. We used to do it, oh—so well, once upon a time."
Damon starts mocking Stefan,"I don't, Damon. I can't trust you to be a nice guy. You kill everybody, and you're so mean. You're so mean, and..." He face up on mocking him. "You're really hard to imitate, and then I have to go to my lesser place..."
Stefan said to the bartender,"Can I get a coffee, please?" He turned to Damon. "So, what's with the bottle?"
Damon:"I'm on edge. Crash diet. You know, I'm trying to keep a low profile."
Stefan:"You could always just leave, find a new town to turn into your own personal Gas 'n' sip."
Damon:"I'll manage. You don't have to keep an eye on me."
Stefan:"I'm not here to keep an eye on you."
Damon:"So, why are you here?"
Stefan:"Why not?"

Gilbert Residence
Bonnie and Elena were all helping me with dinner. I gave my sister a look.
Elena sighs,"I'm sorry. There. I said it. If you want the ugly ass necklace, keep it. It's yours."
Bonnie looks guilty,"Would you be mad at me if I said I threw it away?"
Elena was annoyed,"You threw it away?"
Bonnie:"I know it sounds crazy, but the necklace was giving me nightmares. I had to get rid of it."
Elena:"You could have given it back to me."
I interrupts,"Why? So you could give it back to Damon?"
Elena:"Screw Damon. Are we doing manicures or what? Who has their kit?"
Nevaeh:"Mines in my purse."
Elena ruffles through my purse for my manicure kit,"So, Nevaeh...how long do you think this fight with Stefan's gonna last? Is it...like a permanent thing?"
Nevaeh:"I don't know, Lena."
Then Elena got suddenly angry,"Why are you such a little liar Bonnie?"
Nevaeh:"Elena!"
Bonnie:"What?"
Elena holds up the crystal, and me and Bonnie gapes at her in shock.
Elena:"You lied to me about the necklace, but you gave it to Nevaeh."
Bonnie:"I'm not lying to you, Elena. I swear."
Nevaeh:"It's true, I watched her throw it into the field!"
Elena was getting frustrated,"Then explain it?"
Bonnie:"Emily."
Elena confused,"Who's Emily?"
Bonnie:"The ghost."
Elena:"Oh, so the ghost has a name now?" She said mockingly.
Nevaeh:"Elena, please."
Bonnie turns to me,"I wonder why she won't leave me alone."
Elena:"What's going on? Why am I not a part of this conversation? You guys do this to me all the time. And I have to spend time with Caroline, and you guys know I don't like her."
Nevaeh:"That's not true."
Bonnie:"It kind of is. Like we tell her something she just doesn't listen."
Elena:"I do to listen. When you I not listen?"
Bonnie:"I'm a witch."
Elena:"And don't we all know it."
Bonnie:"See I'm trying to tell you something you don't want to hear it. It's like it goes through the ear and out the other."
Elena:"I'm listening now."

Mystic Grill
Jenna walks up to Alaric's table,"Jeremy totally ditched me."
Alaric:"Where'd he go?"
Jenna:"Home. It's not far. He can walk."
Alaric:"So, are you from here? Are you a townie?"
Jenna:"I'm a returnee. Left town a while ago, and now I'm back taking care of my sister's kids."
Alaric:"Why did you leave?"
Jenna:"School. And then there's the real reason. I was wronged...a guy named Logan."
Alaric:"What'd he do?"
Jenna:"Basics...lied, cheated, lured me back in, left me again. Your turn. Any sad relationship stories."
Alaric:"The basics...fell in love, married young, wife died."
Jenna:"Oh. Wow." She said awkwardly.
Alaric:"Yeah, that's always a good conversation stopper."
Jenna:"What happened?"
Alaric:"Well, you, me and the North Carolina police department are all wondering the same thing. It's what's known as a cold case."
Jenna:"So, why'd you move here?"
Alaric:"A change of pace, new scenery. I like it here. It's got a rich history."
