Nina's POV

I got in my house and was greeted by my loud kids. "Mommy!" Aiden and Ethan yelled as they saw me.

"Hey kids." I said, getting down to their level to hug the both of them. My leg was still painful, even after all those years and surgeries. Wasted over 100 thousand dollars for nothing.

"Where's daddy?" I asked, ruffling their hair.

"Upstairs." Aiden said whilst Aiden pointed his finger up.

"Finish your lunch, lovelies okay? I'll be right back." I told them, and waved to May, their live in nanny. "How are you doing today, May?" I asked.

"Good. Thanks for asking."

I smiled back at her and went upstairs.

"Ian?" I called but couldn't hear him, "Darling? I'm home." I said louder. "Ian babe where are you?"

Our room was empty, with only a single note in the centre of our bed.

"Gone. This is too much for me. Too many problems. Please let the kids know how much I love them. x -Ian."

"No." I yelled falling into the floor. My whole life came crashing down with this one fucking single note.

I woke up breathing heavily, "fuck." I cursed out loud. Ian woke up "Baby, are you okay?" He said, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes.

"You're still here." I said, sighing in relief.

"I'll always be here." He promised, "What's wrong?"

My hands were trembling, "Bad dream." I managed to say.

He automatically came and joined me in bed, hugging me closely to him, rubbing circles into my back.

"I'm sorry." He said, kissing my forehead, "It's gone now."

"Don't let me go." I said closing my eyes and resting my head against his chest.

"Never. I won't." I don't know how, but his words made me feel much better.

"You won't leave me right?" I asked. He held my chin to look up at him. "No." "Even if I won't be able to walk?" I asked him. "Don't say that. You will."

"But what if one day something bad happens and I won't be able to walk?"

"Then something bad will happen and you won't be able to walk. Nothing else will happen, Neen. When I first told you I wanted to be with you, I meant it. I don't care, no matter what happens to you, I'll always love you. I'm praying to god that nothing bad will happen to you again. I love you, I love your flaws, I love every single thing ahout you. In 15 years or so, we'll be in the same exact position we are in right now, and I'll remind you about this moment, prove to you that I still love you, I probably will love you even more and more, if that's even possible. Okay?"

"Okay." I answered. I believed every single word that came out of his mouth. I loved him. I really did. "Thank you, for everything. If it weren't for you always being here, I would've wished to be dead long ago."

"Don't say that, ever, ever again. I mean it. You don't know how hard it was for me when I waited for you for days in the same place, afraid you'd leave me. I was in pain physically and emotionally baby. I love you, your family loves you, your second family, the cast that you've grown up with, we all love you, so don't say that."

"I'm sorry." I apologised before closing my eyes. Somewhere in the world, there are storms so people hide in basements to protect themselves, and when there's earthquakes they hide under a table. In some other places they shield themselves with guns to protect themselves from whatever war or problem is going on.
