A Struggle Within Itself

Chapter 6

Genniffer's Pov
4 days later Friday 6:00 pm

Watching someone prepare for a dangerous trip is always the hardest part. Especially when your not going with them. Jaylen and Treyvian took down my matress and packed duffel bags full of weed, cush, and all that good stuff. I walked them down to the front door.

"Ok promise me you guys will be safe. Okay?" I demanded.

"Yeah we'll be safe." Trey groaned.

"No promise me!" I looked into his eyes.

"We'll be safe Gen we promised." Jaylen assured me.

"Alright you guys better" I smiled. I gave Trey a hug. Trey went out to the car to loaded the stuff up.

"So do I get a good bye hug?" Jaylen asked. I smiled and stepped closer to him and rubbed my finger along his chest.

"You can get a goodbye kiss if you promise to bring my brother home safe." I smiled. I got up on my tip toes and kissed Jaylen. A long one at that. I pulled away slow. Dear lord Jaylen had some good lips. "Alright now go, bring me back some money." Jaylen slapped me on the butt and ran out the door.

My phone rang. I picked it up it was Aqua. "Hellooo" I answered.

"Heyy bish" Aqua responded.

'So you still coming over tonight?"

"Of course I'm pulling up in your driveway now." I peeked out the window and saw a car pull up in the driveway. Aqua stepped out the passanger seat and walked to the inside. I greeted her with a hug and we went upstairs to my room.

"So who drove you here cause it sure didn't look like your parents car?" I asked.

'One of my boy toys" Aqua smirked.

"Uh-uuhh Aqua you a thot." I laughed.

"No I'm not a thot, I am The thot. The best one in business." I busted out laughing and fell on my bed. The bed made a crinkling sound. "Oh girl why yo bed sound like that?" Aqua kneeled down by my bed. She fondled with the sheets.

"Girl I don't know. Um maybe its just some chips under my covers or something." I lied walking over to her. She started to move around with the matress. I jumped on my bed before she could lift it.
"Girl what are you doing?" I tried to say jokingly.

"I think there's something under hear."

"Um yeah a empty bed frame."

"Well if it's empty why can't I just look?"

"Because....."

"Bish just let me look." Aqua pulled me off my bed. I began to bite my finger nails. Aqua lifted it up and became wide eyed as soon as she saw the drugs hidden in the bed frame. Well to be honest somebody was going to find out sooner or later. I rather it be Aqua than one of my parents.

"Aqua now I-I c-can explain" I studdered.

"Gen.... You got weed and you didn't tell nobody..." Aqua glanced at my door and then back to me. "Let's smoke it!" she whispered.

"You smoked weed before?"

"No, but lets try it." I thought about it for a moment.

"Okay" I smiled. I went over to my bed and grabbed a random pack of weed. I handed it over to Aqua and put my bed back in place.

"Okay don't we need paper? Like in them movies Gen! Go get some paper." I nodded my head and went downstairs and returned to my room with a piece of paper and liter in my hand. Aqua opened the bag and spread the weed out in a clean line. We began to roll it up.

"Wait wait don't we need to lick the end of the paper... Like in the movies. Right?" I questioned.

"Oh yeah right." Aqua licked the end of the paper and finished rolling it. I looked at it. It looked a little strange.

"Do you think we did it right? Do you think we should even do this. I mean the weed ain't even mine. It's Treyvian's. And isn't there that thing in the gang business about your not suppose to smoke your own supply?" I complained, sounding like a total nerd.

"Girl I don't know. " Aqua ignited the liter. "And I don't care. Imma try this" Aqua lit the paper and took a drag on our make-shift blunt. She ended up coughing and passed the blunt to me. I put it in my mouth and inhaled. I ended up coughing and laughing.

"That shit taste funny. But I kinda like it" I laughed. Me and Aqua smoke the blunt down to the stub and flicked it into the trash. I laid down on my bed. "Aqua.... My room smells like weed" I giggled. She took a minute to respond.

"Yeah... We gotta clean it out" Aqua chuckled.

"We, we gotta clean it out." I mimicked. I stood up and stumbled for a minute. Aqua held out her hands to help prevent me from falling. "I'm cool, I'm cool" I whispered, shooing her hands away. I made my way to the window and opened it. "Okay weed you can go out the window now." I chuckled, talking to thin air. " Hey what do you think Jaylen's doing?" I walked back to my bed and grabbed my phone. Aqua sat next to me.

"Oohh yeah send Jaylen a freaky text. Say something like..... No no wait I got something better. Say hows it going."

"Yeah smart, smart." I laughed. We giggled as I sent Jaylen a message. We waited for him to respond.

"Gen. Can I tell you something?" Aqua chuckled.

"What?"

"You and Jaylen were a cute couple. But not cuter than me and Antwan."

"Hell nah... Me and Jaylen were the best fucking couple in the school. You and Antwan were on and off again to much. You were to busy meeting other boys in the bathroom." I giggled.

"Mmmm damn right."Aqua joked and we laughed again. I was feeling a little dizzy but it was starting to get better. Jaylen messaged back and simply said."Selling dope." I showed Aqua the text and we laughed again.

"Gen lets get real. Let's stop the bullshit. Imma about to keep it funky with you. You know you want Jaylen and Jaylen wantss youu" Aqua slurred.

"Yeah. Jaylen is one sexy nigga" I smiled.

"Then why don't you go get him. You told me about you kissing him outside by the busses. So why don't you just go for it? I tell you all the time you be having all these good niggas wanting you and you don't do squat about it. Like Brian."

"Because.... I'm afraid he might get mad and treat me like how he did." I laughed. "He wouldn't talk to me and ignore me. But then he would still expect me to sit next to him and hold his hand.... And Brian?"

"I think." Aqua took a weird pause. " I think at the time he was mad because you were so busy he was mad and ignored you. But still wanted you around. I don't know boys are weird like that. But you know Brian was feeling you back then and Brian still wants his turn at that ass of yours. "

"But then what he did afterwards, totally unexpected. Like out of the blue. I had to buy a freaking new phone because of it."

"Oh yeah" Aqua giggled. "He was in the...." I quickly put a finger on Aqua's mouth and rubbed my finger all over her lips.

"Shhhhhhhh" I whispered. " I know what happened, you don't have to remind me." I let my finger drop and fall on to the bed Aqua began to laugh.

"Genniffer I think that weed is messing with us." We bursted out laughing. For the rest of the night I sent Jaylen a couple more messages and kinda blacked out. I don't remember what I said to him.

I woke up the next morning in my room. Aqua was no where in sight. I guess she might of left early in the morning. I rolled over in my bed and to my suprise I found a shirtless Jaylen sleeping next to me.
