Chapter 14

Genniffer's Pov

Wednesday. The week was halfway over. Thank God. I got up from my bed went to go check on Treyvian. His door was still locked after last night. I did my normal morning routine. I let Brian come inside. Now that I set him up with Crispy there was no need to avoid him. His mind was off of me and focused on Crispy. To be completely honest I liked it when he talked about me. Or at least had a little attention on me. I guess Crispy worked her magic and that all changed real quick.

Jaylen came and knocked at the door. This was my chance since Trey wasn't coming out of his room. I opened the door.

"Good morning" I beamed. Jaylen shook his head and walked in. "You can't speak?" I yelled as Jaylen went upstairs. Brian laughed at this. I went upstairs and blocked Jaylen's path. "Treyvian can't come out to play today. He's not in the mood." Jaylen sighed in frustration. Something about Jaylen's anger was so sexy. I took him back downstairs.

We took the bus to school. In gym I tried for Jaylen's attention again. Must of really hurt this niggas feelings for him still not to speak to me. I took him off to the side and spoke to him.

"Whats going on with you?" Jaylen looked at like I already knew the answer. "I'm sorry okay. I just got scared at the thought of losing you. Now can you at least talk to me?" I looked at Jaylen, his silence was killing me. It took a little bit more magic and talking, but I eventually got Jaylen to speak.

"Yeah..." He finally said. He smiled,"Only if you give me a kiss."

"You thirsty boy" I laughed. I stood up on my tip toes and gave the nigga a kiss. He kissed back and put his tongue in a little. It was nice to feel his lips.

Later in lunch all was back to normal. I sat down at my usual table with Aqua. Brian sat with us hugged up to Crispy and Jaylen sat by me drooling all over me. Just how I liked it with the except now my new friend Crispy was in the picture. Aqua sat with her on and off again boyfriend Antwan. I guess they were together again at the moment.

"Genniffer guess who's back in town." Aqua blurted out.

"Who?" I asked.

"Kobe. He's back in town for a couple of weeks. I spoke to him yesterday and he said he wants to see you."

"Kobe?" Brian and Jaylen said angrily. They shared a look.

"Who's Kobe?" Crispy asked.

"Oh just some little romeo that had a crush on Genniffer when her and Jaylen use to date. Him, Brian, and Jaylen use to all fight for Genniffer's attention back in middle school." Aqua rambled.

"Shut up no they didn't." I played off. "Kobe never had a thing for me."

"Yeah he did. He followed you around like a little lost puppy. I know why he wants to see you. He still wants some of that Genniffer magic that you put on these boys." Aqua joked. I shot her a look that told her to shut up, but she continued to run her mouth. Jaylen and Brian got up and went to the bathroom.

"Okay Aqua I get it! He had a crush on me. I remember, I was there. You don't have to explain it." I folded my arms.

"So are you gonna go see him, girl can I go with you!?" We laughed. I was happy by the thought of Kobe coming back into town for a while. I caught myself smiling just by the thought of it. He was a good friend. But damn Aqua had a big ass mouth. I had just got Jaylen back and I don't need his sensitive ass getting jealous.

"Aqua you know what we haven't done in a while?"

"What?"

"Thrown a party. I can have one this weekend and you can tell Kobe he can come to the party and see me then." Aqua and I giggled and squealed at my idea. Crispy shot us a confused look.

"Where did Brian go?"

"Oh Brian. Him and Jaylen probably went to the bathroom." I smiled. We went and searched for them and sure enough we found them standing outside the bathroom.

Cripsy went over and gave Brian a kiss. Brian held Crispy in his arms. I frowned and watched them do this. I looked at the way his hand wrapped around her waist. The way he held her ass. Pure jealousy grew inside me from just looking at them.

I didn't want Jaylen to notice so I turned torwards him. I explained to him my plans for a party and brought him back to the table. I thought about how jealous Kobe would make Brian and Jaylen when all three of them were around me. I laughed a little at my evil thought.

Crispy and Brian returned to the table. They smooshed noses and smiles. I sucked my teeth as I watched them. Aqua laughed at me.

Something about Brian and Crispy urked me a little. I tried to play it off but Aqua caught on. The whole point of getting Crispy was suppose to get me to not worry and watch Brian.

"Attention students" A voice from a microphone called out. Everyone looked around the cafeteria. The dean, Ms.Fellis, stood on a stage in the back of the cafeteria. "Students today is when I announce Homecoming!" Everyone cheered. I had completely forgot about that. "I am here today to announce that homecoming will be in 2 weeks and to announce the nominees for homecoming king and queen." Everyone cheered again.

Ms. Fellis opened a yellow envolope. "First the boys.... Steven Jenson." A tall jockey white boy from the football team stood up and went to the stage. "Brian Hanover."
All the girls went crazy. I watched Brian go to the stage, me and Crispy smiled and aplauded as he took the stage. "Next Jaylen Bryant." I cheered and gave Jaylen a hug. He joined Brian up on stage. Everyone gasped. Everyone knew that Jaylen and Brian were bestfriends. Now they were pinned up against each other for homecoming king. They didn't seem to care. They first bumped each other when they both stood on stage. The dean called out another boys name and moved on to the girls.

"First off for the girls....Genniffer Goldenrod." I smiled. Obviously I was going to be called if Jaylen and Brian were called up. Plus why wouldn't they call my name? The cafeteria cheered as I joined the boys up on stage. "Victoria Puelo." As soon as Ms. Fellis called her name it seemed like the crowd went dead silent. Of course if there was a competition that I was in, Victoria participated in it to for another chance to beat me. The crowd eventually cheered for her as she walked up on stage. She stood next to me.

"Hope you don't lose to me again" She whispered. I rolled my eyes.

"Aqua Marina." Aqua stood up lots of boys cheered for her but no girls. All the girls were aware of Aqua's game with men. Aqua stood up next to me. "Lastly but not least Jessica Atkinson" Jessica, Victoria's bestfriend came to the stage. "These eight gentlemen and women will be the nominees for this year's homecoming. Voting will be at homecoming. Can't wait to see you all there!" The crowd roared one last time and then everyone on stage took their seats. I looked at Crispy. She seemed bummed out that her name wasn't called. I ignored her and focused my eyes on Victoria. She bested me once, but now my chance had finally come to get back at her. Game on bitch.
