The Morning After (very fluffy)

I wake up the next morning to some TV show playing and Yelena's fingers weaved through my hair I hum to signal that I'm up.

"Good morning sweetheart, how'd you sleep?" Yelena asks looking down at me "I hardly remember anything after the opening scene of the movie last night. So I think I might have gotten knocked out or something." I grumble "Is someone in a bad mood?" She asked softly "No, I just want affection today. I've missed it for the past weeks" I hum straddling Yelena and slumping my body on her, she wraps her hands around my waist and rubs my lower back "How? You literally had a boyfriend" she says with an eye roll. "Yeah, but he wasn't you. I broke it off with him for you if you weren't paying attention yesterday. So no need to be jealous." I hum with a smirk but my lightened mood changes once a thought pops into my head.

"Hey, where'd that smile go sweetie?" She asked concerned at the sudden mood shift. I look at Yelena locking eyes with her. "Wh-what are we? Are we even anything?" I ask quietly Yelena stared back at me, I wanted to move out of her lap since I made it awkward but I get pulled back "Be mine. Be my girlfriend. " She then requests out of nowhere and I'm slightly dazed in shock but I respond with a kiss and then whisper into her lips "I'd love to." She raises an eyebrow at me "Really?" She makes sure and I nod.

She smiles and kisses me are "Are you staying here today?" She questions. "If you'll let me then I'd love to since my dorm is lonely anyway." I say " Of course, I'll let my girlfriend stay." She states and I hum amused in response "Is that what I am? Your girlfriend?" I tease and she nods "Yeah but you're also just mine. I swear if any of those boys look at you a way I don't like I might break some necks." She threatened "Possessive much?" I say still slightly amused "Well I'll even mark my territory at some point." She states and I gulp. "I don't think that'll be needed" I say. She glares "Fine." she huffs and I smirk knowing that I'd let her anyway.

"What?" She questions keeping the sour look on her face I don't say anything I just kiss her neck and move down to her collar bone leaving a hickey there since it's a place that is easier to cover up she smirks back and does the same leaving multiple hickeys in more noticeable places like on my neck and under my jaw "Ok, I'll have to cover these on Monday somehow don't over mark me" I tease again. "I can't help it." She argues and I roll my eyes at her and lay back down next to her snuggling back into her side.

"Can we just stay in bed all day today, I mean we still have tomorrow in case you have to do boring teacher stuff" I ask and she nods with a smile "Thank you baby" I say using that pet name for her the first time and her eyes light up and she smiles at me "Baby?" She double-checks still smiling widely I giggle "Mhm, you don't like it?" I tease "What!? No, no I love it!" She says I keep smiling "I'm still tired" I state.

She pats her lap "Nap time then my sweet" she says and once I'm lying in her lap she weaves her fingers back into my hair. I smile up at her before dozing off.

I wake up a few hours later, once
she noticed that I was awake she asks "Are you in a better mood now grouchy?" I smile and nod "good" she states pulling me up so I'm sitting in her lap. I hum "you're warm." I mumble against her neck "And yet you still manage to freeze?" She questions while raising an eyebrow at me.

I roll my eyes "Well maybe if you gave me a hoodie or something like that to sleep in I wouldn't be a sleeping ice pack." I say adding a playful defensive tone.

She smirks and gets up, a few moments later she's standing in front of me with a plain black hoodie. I smile and make a grabby hand motion toward the hoodie, Yelena slips it over my head and smiles, "While I'm up, would you like anything, Babe?" she asks. "A glass of water would be great!" I say loudly as Yelena walks to the kitchen.

She returns moments later with my water. "Thank you baby" I thank her and she smiles at the nickname and I return a small smile as I take a sip. She sits back down and we watch whatever is playing I'm not sure what show or movie it is.

I finish my water and go to stand up to bring my glass away but Yelena jumps up and takes the glass from me and gently pushes me back onto the couch. "I'll bring it away for you." She states. "Just because we're dating doesn't mean that you have to do everything for me, I know you want to but I have a perfectly functioning body of my own." I say with a smirk. "I know but you're also in my house so I feel like it's my task to do these things for you." She states from the kitchen. "Well since I'll be here like every weekend I think I should do everything myself" I get interrupted by Yelena straddling me and kissing me I hum in defeat.

She looks at me "You'll be here on weekends?" She questions with a smirk I nod knowing that if I say 'if you let me' she'll be mildly offended. She just keeps smiling "This is probably the most I've seen you smile." I state returning a smile she nods "Well I mean, I have a beautiful woman on my couch and she said she'll come over on the weekends so I'll get to see her and drown her in kisses and cuddles." she says and her words just warm my heart.

I think I love this woman already.
