Chapter 7: 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐛 𝐀𝐫𝐜

"Finally our first mission together!!" The two cheered happily, doing a dance. "Class first mission! Class first mission! Class first mission!" They sang.

"They're so energetic" I mumble starting to get tired just by seeing them and being with them. "Fushiguro, Noroi, here" Megumi accepted the tablet from Ijichi.

"Juvenile?" I mumbled taking a closer look at the files. "Ijichi-san, cant I just take this mission by myself?" The two gasps. "Unfortunately no, you cant take this mission by yourself, Noroi" he apologizes.

"Hey Noroi, don't take the mission by yourself! It's our class's first mission!"

"This is our first time we're all going to do a mission"

"You two go to the car already" Megumi ordered them. The two pouted and walked away, following Ijichi. "I don't like this" I grimaced taking my phone out. "Why?" He asked, continuing to read the profiles.

"I mean what's the point of rescuing them?" I groaned reading the profile. "They did crimes. If we rescue them they'll just be going to hurt someone in the future, it depends on them whether they'll do it again or not. But it's a juvenile detention for a reason" I saw his name and clicked it.

"Look at Okazaki. I don't have any intention to save people that I don't even want to help in the first place. What would happen if the person I save killed others in the future?" I placed the phone in my ear.

"Same goes to you, right? Our ideals are somewhat the same. We're sorcerers after all not some heroes" I whispered sighing in relief when he finally picked up the call.

[Noroi, it's rare for you to call—]

"Shut up and listen to me" I cut him off. "Due to an emergency situation, we first year's are being dispatched right now. I don't get why it was us, first-years are being dispatched. So get your ass back as here as soon as possible, Gojo-sensei" I ended the call and placed it inside my pocket.

"Let's go," we both said to each other.


"Our window confirmed the cursed wombs existence about three hours ago. When the evacuation guide was at ninety percent we closed the facility after evacuating the scene. At the inmate's hospital 2nd lodge. Five patients were left behind there together with the cursed wombs. If the cursed wombs can metamorphose we predict that it will become a special grade cursed" I shifted the handle of the umbrella to my left hand and took my phone out.

Are the ones managing this is insane?! Why are they sending first years who are only grade two and lower to a special grade curse?!

"Hey, I still don't really get all this special grade stuff" the three of us deadpan at him. Ijichi explained to him about the hierarchy of curses.

"Naturally sorcerers with an equal level to the cursed spirits are assigned mission. In today's case, it will be someone like Gojo-sensei"

"So where's Gojo-sensei?" Yuji asked. "He's on a business trip" I answered and move away from the group when he finally picked up the call.

[Wow you called—]

"It's a special grade mission. We're being dispatched on a special-grade mission. We're going to rescue five inmates that hadn't been identified whether they're alive or not! They know the womb have a chance to metamorphosis into a special grade and yet they're still sending us first year's who are grade from two to lo—"

[Noroi, calm down] I clicked my tongue and took a deep breath. "If I'm the only one who's going to do this there's a chance that I'll get out alive. I'm not being cocky but I can just teleport myself out when I can't handle it but I can't teleport others with me! Satoru, I have a bad feeling about this mission! This is absurd!" I hissed gripping my umbrella.

"Excuse me! Excuse me!" I looked to the side. "Is Tadashi... Is my son okay?" I took a deep breath to calm my nerves. I looked away seeing Yuji's expression.

[Noroi, whatever happens, don't summon it] I gritted my teeth. [Last time was a miracle and there won't be another chance] I looked down and stared at the shadow the umbrella cast.

[I'll get there as soon as I can]

"Get here faster" I whispered ending the call, walking back to my group. "Fushiguro, Kugisaki, Roi, we're going to save them" Yuji declared determinedly. "Of course" Nobara was the only one who replied.

"What now?" He whispered at me. "I don't want to start an argument unless I got dragged" I muttered, our group walking to the entrance.

"I'll bring down the curtain. Please be careful" Ijichi reminded us. "It's almost nighttime!" Yuji exclaimed. "It hides us from outside so that the non-sorcerers cant see what's happening here," I told him watching Megumi form a hand sign.

"He'll let us know if the curse is near" Yuji crouched down and petted the dog. Then after he got up the dog approached me. I run my hand to its fur giving him a pet.

"Let's go," I told them. When we entered the building I was stunned in my place.

"What's going on?! We're supposed to be in a two-story dorm right?!"

"Calm down it's just two stories!"

An incomplete domain?!

"Where's the gate?!" We all looked behind us and the entrance was gone.

"The door disappeared!"

"Why we just came in through that door, right?!" They started to panic. "It's okay. He remembers the smell of the exit and entrance" Megumi assured and I gave him a glare. "If he knows the way in and out why the hell did you scare us?" He avoided my eyes and cough.

"Jerky! Bring all the jerky you all have!" Now the two are very comfortable while giving pets to the dog. "Can we just go already?" I told them my eyes wandering around the place.

So it hasn't fully manifested its techniques? If it suddenly got completed then I don't have a chance but to push myself to my limits

"You really are reliable, Fushiguro. People are saved because of you and even I'm saved" Yuji smiles and Megumi only looked away. "Let's just go" I ordered them gesturing the dog to take the lead.

We stepped out of the entrance and saw three bodies if the two are really bodies laying on the ground.

"This is atrocious"

"It's okay to say this is three people right?"

"Well, the one yeah the two? Don't know. But maybe" I followed Yuji and stop a meter away from him when he crouched down in front of the only recognizable body. "I'm taking this body home" I grimace and looked at Megumi.

"Huh?"

"It's that person's son. His face hasn't been damaged" I gestured to him to deal with him and he sighed walking to Yuji.

"But!"

"Being told he's dead without a body. She won't be able to grasp it" Megumi held the back of his uniform yanking him up. "We need to confirm if the other two people are alive and sea. Leave his body" I clicked my tongue.

"What we need to do now is to get out. The chances of them being alive is low when this three are dead and mangled up" I hissed not wanting the idea to get ourselves dragged to something we didn't sign for.

"Roi, what if they're still alive and hiding?" I pinched the bridge of my nose and took a deep breath.

I forgot that we don't have the same wavelength, this will only lead to an argument between us

"Fushiguro, when we looked behind us the path we came from disappeared. We don't have any leeway to go back later"

"I didn't say do it later. I said leave it. I don't care about rescuing people I don't even want to help and who have turned into corpses" Yuji gripped his uniform back, the place having tension because of them.

"What do you mean?"

"This is a detention area, you know? Information about the scene is disclosed to sorcerers beforehand. Noroi, explained to him the situation right now" I gave him a glare for dragging me to their argument.

"Roi, what is he talking about?"

"That guy Okazaki Tadashi is driving without a license and hit a primary girl on her way home. It was his second time driving without a license" I answered and he looked alarmed.

"You really fuss around over leading a lot of people to the right death huh"

"Megumi, that's enough" I ordered, pulling him away but their grip on each other is strong. "What would you do if those people you saved kill other people in the future?" I mutter a cuss when he brings that up.

"Then why?! Why did you save me?! I understand if it's Roi but then why?!" He shouted. "Enough!" I successfully pushed them away.

"Instead of arguing with our damn ideals right now, we should move! We're facing a special grade! A special grade for fuck sake! The two inmates are probably dead now and it won't be long before we followed them!"


"Geez, you three are really—"

"Kugisaki?"

"The dog?!" The two got stunned when they saw the dog's head plastered on the wall. "We need to run now and save Nobara now!" Noroi shouted and they got petrified in their places.

'There's no mistaking it! This is a special grade!'

'We're so close. I can't risk swinging my weapon while the two are on my sides!'

'Move! Move! Move! Move! Move!"

"Help people"

Yuji pulled his weapon out and the next thing they knew he was missing a hand. Noroi took her weapon and swing the bandaged weapon at the two pushings them away when it suddenly released a yellow beam.

"Noroi/Roi!"

She hit the wall, creating a dent, and coughed some blood. "Fucking run! I can't go all out when you two are here!!" She shouted and if she was a little bit late on crouching down she probably got punched in the face.

The bandages unwrap themselves and she successfully sliced its legs. "Shit!" She got sent flying when it threw a hurl of cursed energy destroying the ground.

Noroi stands up, her uniform is stained with blood and dirt from the two attacks she received.

'So this is the power of a special grade curse huh?'

Her body shiver and the corner of her lips tugged up. Before she can run to it Megumi quickly pulled her to him.

"What the hell are you doing?!"

"I should be the one asking you that! What the hell are you doing, Noroi?!"

"Fighting the curse of course!"

"That's a special grade!"

"And what if that's a special grade?! I can take it down! We can even take that down by ourselves if you're not being a wimp right now!!" She shouted making Megumi grit his teeth.

"I refuse" they looked at Itadori after hearing Sukuna's voice. "Even if the me inside of you dies. My soul is still cut into 18 other pieces. Though frustratingly the one who controls this body is not me. If you want me to take over then that's fine. But when that happens before I go after the cursed spirit. I'll kill that brat first" Noroi gave him a glare.

'Is this how he will repay us after feeding him last week?'

"Next is that Kugisaki brat. She's full of vitality. It seems like I'll be able to have some fun and lastly that Noroi brat" he smirks and the boys have a dark expression on their faces.

"She's feisty and I'll toy with her first before killing her in front of you"

"Like that will happen" Noroi scowled. "I won't let you do that" Sukuna laughed. "That's what I thought. But if you're all concerned about is me. Your friends will definitely die" it sends another hurl of cursed energy which they avoided.

Noroi's stance staggers a little and she uses her sword as a cane. "Glad I'm not a none living object" she grimaced at the ruined floor. "Fushiguro! Take Roi and Kugisaki with you and run away!" Noroi's eyes widen.

"I'll hold it back until you three leave this place. When you're safe outside give me a signal and I'll swap with Sukuna"

"Are you insane?! Sukuna is not your weapon you can use! He's a double edge sword!" Noroi hissed clenching her weapon. "There's no way I can do that! There's a special grade curse in front of us!" Megumi replied.

"The one who should run is you! You don't know how to use cursed energy and you don't have a technique! The only thing you have is now gone!"

Yuji will be honest that her words hurt him. She has a point but she's already in terrible condition.

"And what do you suggest huh, Noroi?? That you fight that curse alone?!" Megumi growled. "Yes! Unlike you two I have teleportation!" Now that caught Sukuna's interest and Yuji was shocked at that. They've been in the school for two weeks and her technique wasn't even brought up.

"We can even defeat that, Megumi!!"

"We're only grade two sorcerers, Noroi! We cant defeat a special grade!"

"Yes, we can!!"

"You two! Look closely!" Yuji shouted and they looked at the curse who's cackling at them. "It's having fun. It's totally underestimating us. We can at least buy some time"

"If Megumi won't help me then fine! The two of you leave and I'll handle that curse by myself! Give me the signal and when I can't handle it anymore I'll just teleport back to the entrance!"

"Noroi, are you going to kill yourself?! Stop being cocky!"

"Then stop being a coward!!"

"Guys, I'm counting on you" their eyes widen. Megumi looked away and run not without dragging Noroi with him. His eyes glance at the corpse and he pulled the name tag.

"Megumi, let me go! Fucking let me go!" Noroi tried to fight back but Megumi kneed her stomach harshly, knocking her air. Noroi started to drop and the last thing she saw was Yuji's face.

"I'm sorry" both boys whispered before resuming their task.


"I remembered your face okay? I'll definitely curse you!" Nobara stated glaring at the curse that is about to eat her when a large snake appeared biting it.

It dropped her and a tongue wrapped around her waist. "I'm not good with frogs" she groaned. "Well too bad!!" Nobara looked around and her eyes landed on another frog.

Noroi is in a terrible condition like her, much more terrible because her head is bleeding, and she was knocked out cold, thanks to Megumi.


"I was conceited. I thought I was strong. I thought I was wrong enough to decide how I'd die! But I was wrong. I'm weak. Just like Roi said. Aaah! I don't wanna die! I don't want to! I really don't want to! I haven't taken Roi out on a date! We haven't date! It's unfair the two took her out! And Roi" he covers his face and started to cry.

"Roi will be sad and I don't want her to be sad. She'll blame herself and I don't want that. But I'm going to die"


Noroi slowly opened her eyes feeling something wrapping her head. "Noroi!" She narrowed her eyes. "Ijichi—" she stood up and hissed in pain after her head hits the car roof.

"Noroi, please take it—" she pushed the man away and without any hesitation, she punched Megumi in the face. "You bastard!! If you want to run away run by yourself! How dare you drag me with you! How dare you make me leave Yuji alone there!!" Even though Ijichi is scared shitless because of the girl he still intervened.

"Noroi, please calm down! If you punch Fushiguro he will be unable to fight! Between the both of you his the only one who's not in a terrible state!" Megumi spits the blood on the side and wipes his lips, thankful for the man for stopping her.

"Does he even have the guts to fight when he run away in the first place?!" He lowered his head.

"Noroi, it's run or die!"

"I know! That's why Yuji will die! He cants defeat that curse! But if Megumi and I work together we can take it down!" Megumi got already fed up with her. Standing up he punched her on the making Ijichi back away in fear.

He kneeled in front of her and gripped her uniform. "I can't okay?! I'm not you and will never be you!" He shouted. "I didn't ask you to be me!!" She replied tossing him a glare.

"If you can do it I can't! I'm not strong as you, Noroi!"

"Then you should have left me alone to deal with it! I can get away by using the shadows!"

"Then what will we do when it followed us outside?!"

"Don't you study?! Curses don't leave the place where they were born at!"

"But will you leave?! You have a tendency to lose your sanity when it comes to fighting! You will push yourself! Forcing yourself to fight to see how strong you are! Goddamn it, Noroi! I'm worried okay?! I'm scared for you!" She stops seeing the broken emotion in his eyes.

"Tsumiki... I already lost her and I don't want to lose you too. I know you're strong, but please remember you're not alone anymore. Please remember that you have a family who cares for you now, Noroi" he whispered his hold on her loosening.

Noroi pushed him and Ijichi flinched when she looked at him. "Please expand the evacuation area zone by another 10 km" she stands up and walked to the car, taking her weapon out.

"What about you, Noroi?"

"I'm going to stay and wait for Yuji. I need to carry out my responsibility" she answered firmly combing her hair. "Take, Megumi with you" Megumi stood and gave her a determined look. "I'm staying behind" he declared.

"You're not the only one who's carrying this responsibility, Noroi" she looked away and stared at the building. "After I bring Kugisaki to the hospital. I'll also come back as soon as possible"

"No" the two quickly rejected his idea.

"Megumi is already a hindrance for me"

He got stabbed in the chest. "Even if you're here, Ijichi-san, it won't be much" he got stabbed again.

'They're just worried. Yes, they're just worried. They're just delivering their words in a different way'

"When you come back please bring a sorcerer higher than grade one. Though I don't think there's any"

"I already informed Gojo about this beforehand after I got suspicious with the information. He's on his way here but it will be going to take him a couple of minutes before he arrives" Ijichi nodded his head and drove the car away.

Noroi stabs her unwrap sword on the ground and tied her hair. "If you continue to hesitate you'll die" his body tense at her statement. "Stop hesitating. I don't want you to die" he glanced at her and her expression is serious eyes staring at the building.

He then quickly looked at the building.

'The expanded dormitory disappeared! That means the special grade died. Now if Itadori will just come back'
