Chapter 12

"Okay, can the two of you explain to me what is happening right now?" Gojo sighed brushing his face. "Right now?" He gave her a glare.

"I mean you two! Why are you so close! Really close! Like new definitions of close!"

"Define the new definition of close—"

"You two act so mushy to each other!" She rolled her eyes and raised her hand that is holding his hand.

"We're dating"

"You're dat— WAIT WHAT?!"

"We're dating" Noroi repeated with a flat tone. Yuji gave their teacher a sheepish smile his free hand scratching his cheek. "Dating?! What happened on not doing romantic things?!" He shrieked holding on to the counter table for support.

"I lied"

"I know you lied but still!" He hissed. "Didn't I say you're not allowed to date not until you reached your 50's—"

"Stop saying bullshit words, Gojo. You never said something like that to me and do you really need to exaggerate it to 50?" Noroi deadpanned sighing.

"You are not allowed to date!"

"Says who?"

"Me! I gave birth to you—"

"You don't have a vagina, to begin with!" Yuji covers his mouth to stifle his laugh. "Noroi, you're still young—" she cut him off. "Satoru" he knows when she called him by his first name she's being serious right now.

"Fine but know your limits!" He groaned. "Thank you" she sighed in relief giving him a small smile. "Thanks, sensei" he gave Yuji a glare. "Yuji, I'm watching you okay?" He made the move I am watching you before he exits the dining.

"What do you think will Fushiguro react?" He's more worried about him than their teacher. "Shock because he didn't expect that I will date someone like you" he gasps. "And betray because I hid that your alive but overall he's going to kill you" Yuji pouted and he rested his chin on her shoulder.

"I love you" he whispered and Noroi gave him a side-eye glare and he smile when her cheeks started to turn red.

"Distance!!" Yuji flinched and quickly moved away from her when Gojo appeared.

"Okay young lady, I allowed you to date my student but distance. DIS.TANCE!" Gojo pulled Noroi away from Yuji. Carrying her by her armpit like a cat.

Gojo stopped and he leaned his face on her head sniffing. Noroi quickly headbutted him, pushing him away from her.

"Okay, why the hell do you smell like cigarettes and liquor?!" She stretched her hand to him and Yuji accepted it. Noroi pulled him to her and Gojo's jaw drop when they disappeared through her shadow.

"Wait what, what the. WHEN DID SHE LEARN HOW TO DO THAT?!"


"I feel like her air suddenly changed"

"True"

"My nose tells me something interesting happened to her last night"

"Salmon"

"Leave Noroi, alone" Megumi grumble at his friends. "But Fushiguro, aren't you curious about the sudden change of her behavior?" Nobara whispered. "I thought she's going to get depressive after I accidentally mention Itadori" he narrowed his eyes on her.

"Why did you even mention that moron's name?" She pursed her lips looking away. "Megumi, can't you see the flowers in her background?" Panda asked making him deadpan.

"Your exaggerating things, Panda-senpai"

"He's right/salmon"

"Well to be honest" Maki narrowed her eyes at her. "She still the same just different air," she told them and they watched the girl get swallowed by her shadow.

"Well, at least Noroi is finally okay now!" Nobara grinned. "And why would I not be okay?" Everyone except for Megumi screamed when her head popped out from Panda's shadow.

"How the hell can you do that?!" The girls asked Nobara holding Maki's wrist and Inumaki holding her weapon after she tried to swing it down.

"Don't know. Just did it out of impulse. I'm trying on experiment on my techniques to check if there's more to it" she answered and Panda froze feeling her hand on his ankle.

Without a word Noroi dragged him down, making him scream at top of his lungs and everyone was baffled and dumbfounded seeing him disappear.

"D-did she just dragged Panda to the underworld or hell?" Maki questioned pulling her glasses and wiping them and wearing them again. "Yeah/salmon" they whispered.

Inumaki moved away and so as them when his shadow stretched more a little bit.

"I thought I was dead?!" Panda shouted when he came back from the land of the living and the light. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you" Noroi mumbled, slightly getting dizzy at him for shaking her shoulder.

Maki hit her staff at top of his head making him let go of the younger girl. "Noroi, did you just" Megumi can't think straight right and Noroi doesn't need him to finish his words, already knowing what he's talking about.

"It looks like bringing other people is possible for me" she chuckled a little. "And it also looks like there's more to what the ten shadow technique has" she smiles and holding his hand her shadow swallowing them two.

Megumi gap in amazement seeing the world where his sister always travels. "Welcome to my realm" Noroi smiles letting go of his hand. "And this is their shadow" she pointed at the three glowing white on the floor.

"What I did to Panda-senpai is something I didn't think I can do" She crouched down at the smallest shadow. "Mostly if I just stood on their shadow I'll appear if I want myself. But now that I am finding weird things to the technique" her hand sink into the shadow.

"I can also do this"

Inumaki eyes widen in shock when something grabs his ankle. "Tuna Tuna!" He screamed gaining their attention. Before they can help him his body got dragged to his own shadow.

"But the way you need to do it is like drowning yourself on water. Submerging your upper body down" the boy deadpanned at her explanation and despite Inumaki is being held by his ankle upside down he is amazed at the place they are in and at her strength

He planted his hand on the floor and throw himself up after Noroi let him go.

The three of them appear in Nobara's shadow. "Don't scare us, you idiot!" Nobara hiss, for a second she thought she'll be the next victim.

"Tuna. Tuna mayo!" 'The place was amazing!' He exclaimed eyes shining with amazement.

"I didn't manage to look at it because of how startled I got!"

"Panda-senpai, I said I'm sorry" the two started to argue while Nobara happily listens to Inumaki. Maki approaching Megumi.

"You okay?" She asked using the staff to push his shoulder, gaining his attention. "Senpai, Noroi technique is developing more every single day. She's way out of my league now" he whispered a slight pang of jealousy staring at her.

"Soon she might reach Gojo-sensei's level or Okkotsu-senpai's level" Maki heaved a sighed and bumped his shoulder.

"The reason why she's improving faster than everyone else especially on you is that she's doing her best. That boy... Itadori" she whispered the boy's name and Megumi flinched.

"The reason why she's improving faster than every one of us is that she doesn't want anyone of us to have the same fate as him. Noroi is the type of person who prioritizes the safety of the people she cares about than her own safety" a small smile graze her lips.

"She prioritizes mine and Mai's safety that's why she almost die that day" she chuckled making his eyes wide. Maki placed her hand on top of his head, messing his hair.

"It will be an embarrassment if you let your older sister do all the work, Megumi. You don't need to surpass her but you won't like it if you fall behind right?" She smirks making him scowl.

Retracting her hand and walking to the four she looked at Megumi behind her shoulder and smirked again.

"If you keep slacking and holding back you're really going to fall behind. That's why do your best to improve so you can reach her level and walk beside her, Megumi"


"I'm home" Noroi announced entering the house. "Roi, welcome back!" She placed her shoes on the side and walked to the kitchen.

"I brought snacks. By the way, what are you making?" She asked walking behind him. "Well instant noodles are bad because they have so many preservatives that's why tonight's dinner will be spicy beef ramen with katsudon and tempura" Yuji answered frying the meat and seafood in two separate pans.

"It's unfair"

"Huh, what's unfair?"

"That you're the one cooking right now. I mean men can also cook but you always cook for us and even for me when we're still back at Sendai" she whispered placing her chin on his shoulder.

"That's because you don't have the talent for cooking, Roi. The last time you cooked you almost burn—"

"The kitchen. I know I know. No need to remind me of that Yuji" Noroi grumbles making him chuckle. "Can you hug me?" He asked a small tint of red forming on his cheek. Noroi gave him a side glance and he looked away.

Yuji can feel his face slowly burning when her arms wrap around his waist.

"Stop it"

"Huh?"

"That"

"That what?" He asked, looking at her confusingly. "Stopping yourself from smiling. You look like a constipated idiot" Yuji's jaw drop at her insult. "Roi, stop being so mean to me!" But Noroi didn't stop.

She continued to insult me and Yuji continue to whine. The two of them bickering back at each other while Yuji cooks and while Noroi hugged him behind.

Gojo who just appeared at the entrance wanted to leave the house immediately seeing his adopted daughter and his student being so cuddly with each other.

'Gosh, they're so cute at the same time irritating'

He smiles clutching his chest.

'Kids this day easily get on a relationship than adults'

"What is happening to him?" Yuji whispered, slightly spooked out at their teacher. Gojo is standing at the entrance, head lowered hand clutching his chest with a smile. The only thing missing is the crocodile tears.

"I don't know. Adults are really creepy" Noroi answered with a deadpanned expression.


"I feel like throwing the dinner I have two hours ago now" Yuji groaned clutching his stomach. "Hey if you're going to throw up, throw up on the bathroom," Gojo groaned and I clicked my tongue in annoyance when my fist stopped right in front of his face.

"Isn't this cheating?"

"Not my fault I'm strong" he smirks holding my wrist and shoulder throwing me. I twisted my body landing on all fours well on three and swiped his leg which I managed to do.

Yuji who recovered from the punch he received from him throw a kick but the damn Gojo easily lift me up, throwing me to Yuji.

"Fuck"

"Hey no cussing, young lady!" I throw him a glare and massaged my wrist and arm. "I-I really feel like throwing up" we both grimace and watch Yuji run to the bathroom.

"Now that your boyfriend—"

"He's not my boyfriend"

"Well aren't you two dating?"

"Yes but I still haven't answered him" I can tell he has still something to say about it but choose to change the subject.

I scowled when he squatted in front of me, always doing this to match our height.

"Last night" I made sure not to make my expression falter or make any unnecessary movements. "You managed to get away from me and not only that you managed to take Yuji with you" I internally sighed in relief.

"Also you still not off the hook after I smelt the tobacco and alcohol on you" I grimace and advert my eyes when he gave me a glare from the top of his glasses.

"Does the ten shadow technique has a lot of extensions?" I shrugged my shoulder. "Megumi can store things inside his shadow while I can't. I can travel to the shadow but he can't. Not only that I can also bring someone to me on the other side now" my shadow stretched and swallowed us two.

"Oh, so this is where you always hide huh? Kinda gloomy like you" he snickered making me scowl. "I assume those white things are the shadows" I nodded my head.

"I also did something suddenly at my training with the other" he looked at me and raised an eyebrow. I started to tell him the new improvements I got just because I did something out of a sudden.

"I'm sure Megumi is jealous right now because of how fast your improving" he chuckled. "Well, it fights fuels his determination to train more" I mumbled fiddling with the tips of my hair.

"I also prefer this"

"Huh why?" He gave me a confused look. "Because the more I improve and acquire new abilities from the ten shadows technique. The more the Zenin clan will pay attention to me" I whispered folding my legs and hugging it, placing my chin at my knee.

"I don't like him to go there. That place isn't for him. It's already enough for them to have me. I'll rather go through the same thing again just to make sure Megumi won't go that hell hole place" something heavy placed on my head and glancing at him he gave me a smile, his hand caressing my head and ruffling my hair.

"Don't worry, that won't happen. As long as I'm here, as long as you two have each other, the two of you won't go to that place"

"Perks of being the strongest?" He chuckled nodding his head. "Perks of being the strongest and being the one and only Gojo Satoru. Don't worry about a thing" I grimaced.

"Don't you dare—"

"Cause every little thing gonna be alright" I kicked him away and I am thankful his infinity is off. "Hey, I was just comforting you!" He shouts cupping his cheek. "Your singing isn't comforting. Panda sings better than you" I scowled.

"Hey, that really hurts! Both your kicks and wor— what is that?" He asked staring at the glowing white shadow that has a red color in the center.

"That's Yuji's shadow. That's the reason why I managed to find him" I answered. "Don't tell me that red thing belongs to Sukuna" I nodded my head.

"Well, Yuji is housing the king of curses inside his body" I mumbled. "Let's drag Yuji here" glad he's just near us. I sank my hand and Gojo watches me.

"Where the hell is his ankle?" I grumble my hand searching for his ankle. I frowned when I managed to grab something soft and kinda silky.

Did Yuji change his outfit?

I pulled my hand back. "Give me a second," I told him and submerged my head like how people submerged their head in the bathtub or on the toilet or something to drown themselves or someone.

I blinked my eyes and blinked it again.

"What the fuck" we both said and I pulled my head out. "So?" Gojo curiously asked. "He's kinda far away from me and he's looking for us" I answered and we both appeared behind Yuji.

"Eh sensei, Roi?!"

"Ready for another round, Yuji?!" He smiles and I kicked him on the shin. "That's enough. He just literally throw up a couple of minutes ago" he gave me a pout.

"Go buy us some snacks. The snacks I bought for us turned into your dessert" I ordered. "I am really telling Megumi that you're bullying me!" He shouted walking out of this room.

"Also what snacks do you kiddo want?!" He asked popping his head from the side. "Chips and soda!" Yuji answered hugging me from behind and swaying us slightly.

"Any kind of ice cream be it a mochi, sandwich, or cake ice cream" I answered and he gave us an okay sign, then he removes his glasses his eyes narrowing at us.

"Don't do something inappropriate while I'm going okay?!"

"Huh?!" He exclaimed and I made the dog hand sign. Gojo running away before I can summon them. I massaged my temple hearing his obnoxious laugh all the way here.

"Now that's he's gone let's talk" he pulled away from me and I turned my body to face him. "Let's talk inside your domain, Noroi" I slightly grimace, and my shadow engulfed us two, bringing us to the other realm.

"If your going to talk about what just happened my answer is I don't know. My objective is to bring Yuji here not you. I didn't even know something like that is possible" I started crossing my arms.

"What would happen if you accidentally pulled me out from my innate domain?"

"I don't know"

I don't really know what will happen

My fingers held my arm and I slightly gripped it.

If that happens will Sukuna get separated from Yuji? Will he finally live like a real spirit who has finally had his own body? They are so may question what will happen if I managed to pull him out from his domain.

But also...

What will happen if I entered his domain? Isn't he living inside of Yuji? Like literally in his mind or heart? Why are there so many questions I wanted to answer and try but the possibility of it will either result in my life, Yuji's life, or Sukuna's li—

I snapped our feeling my forehead getting poked. "Oi, the fuck is going on through your mind right now? This place is starting to shake because of you and the hell are you doing to your arm?" I blinked my eyes and watched him uncross my arms.

"Tsk, the hell where you thinking, Noroi?" He scowled healing my arms after I dug my nails. "Just the possibility and outcome if I managed to pull you out or if I managed to enter your domain" I answered absentmindedly, baffled, very baffled, and confused right now.

"Don't do that"

"Do what?" He pulled away and keep a meter distance away from me. "That" I grimace. "Point out which that you're talking about" I sighed brushing my hair.

"The possibility of you entering my domain and you dragging me out of my domain" he answered eyes dangerously piercing at me. "Also that. Where you hurt yourself" he added making me gap a little bit.

"If this brat sees you like that he'll be worried and I don't need to him whining at me over and over again" he scowled and I sighed in relief. For a second I was worried.

Wait... What was I worried about, to begin with?

Ah right yes... He's worried about his wealth being not mi— why would he even be worried about me?

But why shouldn't I do that possible he's talking about? I was about to ask him what he means by that when the mark slowly fades. I crossed our distance and catch Yuji's body.

"Huh Roi, did I suddenly blackout again? Or was it just really dark here that's why I didn't see a thing?" He asked eyes narrowing at the place.

"Yuji, what was the last thing you saw?" I asked and he looked at me. "Gojo-sensei leaving us after you know. What he said" he shyly said looking away from me.

"Let's watch a movie while we wait for the snack" I held his hand and dragged him to the couch shadows. The two of us appear behind the couch.

"I'll pick the movie okay?!" I nodded my head and watched him scurry to the table, picking what we're going to watch at the pile of movies.

Again... He didn't remember a thing after Sukuna took control of his body.


Ah I can't sleep again, my mind won't let me sleep again

I was about to place it back on my lips when someone held my wrist. "Noroi" he sternly said taking the cigarette stick out of my fingers.

"You're starting again. What's the reason why your smoking again?"

"It makes me calm" I mumbled staring at the city lights. "Does Megumi know you're going to your old habits?" I shake my head. "Instead of taking a smoke why won't you take your pills? Do you want to make your brother and us worried?" He sighed.

"Gojo, how—"

"Show some respect"

"Gojo-jiisan"

"I'm going to throw you off this balcony" I looked at him a challenging smirk grazing my lips. "Do it bitch" he pursed his lips and the next I knew I'm falling from the cliff.

"Huh, he did really do it. Glad he still has some balls left" I chuckled watching the sky and my hair flutter violently through the air.

I let out a small groan when he caught my front shirt probably preventing me from meeting my death. I mumbled a small oof after he dropped me down, my back hitting the ground.

"So what's your question?" He asked after I stood up and patted my outfits. "How did Yuji come back alive?" I asked brushing my hair.

"Sukuna healed his heart" I frowned. "If he heals his heart then there's might be a condition to it" I pointed out. "That's what I'm also thinking. I'm sure Sukuna made a deal before he revived Yuji" he sighed.

Was the deal letting Sukuna have control of his body? As far as I can remember when they swap, they can see what's happening around to the person who's in control of the body.

Was it like letting him control of his body and letting Yuji not remember what's happening when Sukuna takes control?

"Also Yuji doesn't remember a thing"

"Huh?" I blinked my eyes. "He talks with Sukuna but he doesn't remember a thing that's what he said" that made me frown again.

"Okay, let's bring you back to the house. It's already way past your bedtime" he smiled holding me and warping us to my room.

"And also" he smiles widen, but it gives a bad vibe. "Give me the pack of cigarettes before I snitch you out to Megumi" I groaned pulling out the cigarette pack inside my pocket and giving it to him.

"Don't forget to drink your meds and for the most thing you should remember!" My ears almost burst from his scream. "Always drink your water, bitch!" I deadpanned and was thankful when he left my room.

"Sukuna may or may not propose a deal with him just to revive Yuji's heart" I whispered walking to my nightstand. "First question" I pulled the drawer open and took the bottle.

"What was the deal" I opened it and throw not only one but three gummies into my mouth. "Second" I chewed it. "Why can't he remember their conversation" I throw it back inside and drop myself to my bed, the world slightly spinning.

"And third" I swallowed it. "Why can't he notice that Sukuna is taking control of his body" my eyes starts to get sleepy.

"And last" I yawned. "Why can't he remember a thing whenever Sukuna swaps?" This question is giving me a headache. Telling it to others especially to Gojo will just make him cautious around Yuji. He will also take countermeasures and maybe keep me at a safe distance away from Yuji and I don't want that.

That's why I will carry this annoying question to myself or to my grave if I died suddenly and out of nowhere.

I started to get even more sleepy when a hand gently caressed my head. I hummed and rolled to the side my hand moving to find my pillow.

"Can you give me my pillow?" My words are sluggish because of the gummies I ate. I don't know which one is present in my room. I don't know if this is Gojo or Yuji or maybe my demons.

Whoever is with me right now didn't say a word but I felt my pillow in my hand. I hugged the pillow after pulling it to me. "Thanks and good night" I mumbled the sleepiness and darkness slowly swaying me away.

The last thing I heard was a chuckle and a good night too.
