Chapter 24

"We're going back to the school! I'm so excited to meet everyone again!" Yuji grinned. "Uh will they like me?" Junpei nervously asked.

"They don't like Yuji so they'll probably be going to like you"

"Hey, Roi! That's rude!" Noroi ignored Yuji's remark sipping her third cup of black coffee making Junpei worried for her health.

Currently, only the three of them minus the curse residing in Yuji's body is present on the building.

"Ah, I remembered something!" Yuji twisted his body to face the two of them, Junpei is the only person paying attention to him because Noroi is busy dozing off and on from reality.

"Roi, I need your help" she snapped out and gave him her full attention. "Are we going to hide a body?" The boys are dumbfounded at her question. "Never mind I was just thinking random things" she wave her hand.

"Random scary things" Yuji muttered then shrugged it off. "We need to help Junpei" Noroi blinked her eyes and Junpei looked shocked. "Aren't we helping him right now?" She asked confused.

"We need to find the culprit who curse them" the two saw how Junpei tensed. "Huh isn't it obvious who put that nasty ass wrinkled finger on the house?" They looked at her in shock. "What?" Noroi sighed and finished her cup of coffee.

"Mahito that fucker was the one who placed the finger" they froze. Junpei who found out was petrified and blame himself for what happened to her mom. Yuji blame himself and it fueled more his rage.

"Wallowing around won't help you two" they snapped and Noroi has just a neutral expression on her face. "I know this is somewhat a sensitive topic but there's no point staying on the past. What's done has done. The only thing we need to do is move forward because that's only really the only thing we can do" Noroi told them with a monotone voice.

She may sound heartless right now, insensitive, and invalidating their feelings but she has a point.

"You're mom won't also like it if you mope around. She may leave you but you gain new people" Noroi sighed opening her phone, fiddling with it.

"Instead of going depressive mode improve yourself. Jujutsu is shit and it ain't easy" Junpei stiffened when Noroi looked at him with sharp eyes.

"Death is just around the corner so you need to be strong and always be prepared, understand?" He nodded his head. "U-Understand" he just let out a quiet sigh of relief when Noroi look at her phone screen.

"You need to get used to it" Yuji whispered to him. "Roi can be scary sometimes" Noroi who heard didn't say a thing clearly knowing she can be scary sometimes.

"Also question and this is very sensitive so I'm telling you right now to inform you whether you will let me ask the question or not" Junpei pursed his lips, contemplating, and sighed loudly.

"Ask your question"

"What's your plan on the people who ruined your life—"

"Roi!"

"Hey don't give me that look I already warned Junpei beforehand about it question" Noroi grumbles. Junpei tightly held the cup of coffee he has, thinking about the question Noroi asked him.

"I-I don't know"

"You don't know?"

"To be honest I want to kill them" it was silent and Yuji gave Noroi that look that made her roll her eyes at him. "That's given. I can understand you because I somewhat relate to your situation" Noroi mumbled tapping her phone.

"That was before. Before Itadori opens my eyes making me realize things" Junpei whispered looking at his reflection in the coffee. "I mean yeah killing can solve—"

"Roi" Yuji warningly called his name making her scoff. "Violence is the answer—" Yuji butted. "No, it's not" Noroi rolled her eyes.

"But not every time we need to use violence. There are ways we can get revenge without ki— I mean beating the shit out of them" Noroi can see the disappointed look on Yuji's face.

"Revenge?" Junpei mumbled looking. "Yeah, revenge. They say let karma handle but I say let us handle it" she smirks and Yuji knows she's up to no good.

"Roi, violence is not the answer"

"I heard you at first and I know it but for me, violence is the answer if things don't end up well but just like I've said" Noroi placed the phone to her ear. "There are ways we can get revenge without beating someone... So you in or out?" She drawled looking straight at Junpei.

"You're not going to kill them right?"

"Yeah just give them a few scaring that's all"

"I feel like there's more to it than scaring them" Yuji sweatdrop, knowing well things won't just end up getting those people who hurt Junpei getting scared.

"Don't kill someone"

"I'll take that as yes— You finally picked up your phone, Taro" Yuji perked up hearing that name. "Tell Ogawa to ready his ass because he'll be doing tons of paperwork again" Noroi chuckled smirking.


"Won't we get in trouble in this?" Junpei worriedly asked now regretting his decision. "Yeah, we will. Big time probably" he paled at her answer.

"How are we going to go there? Aren't I supposed to be still dead?" Yuji frowned and Noroi gave him a bored look. "Do you really want to go all the way down to this mountain?" He shakes his head no.

"But—" his eyes widen and Noroi scoff and Junpei was startled when the ground turned black. "This is a good time to try it out" the shadow rose up and it devoured the three of them.

Junpei gasp seeing where they are. "It looks like there's no complication bringing people here" Noroi mumbled seeing she didn't get any headaches for bringing another person.

'How much can I bring here?'

Junpei suddenly felt sick when the place zoomed, surprising him and almost making him throw out the breakfast he had.

"Ah sorry should have given you a warning first" Noroi mumbled. "I'm fine. Just surprised" he gave her a shaky smile.

They waited for Junpei to recover before they walked, the two following Noroi to where she will lead them.

"This place is my realm. If the other side is the light this is the darkness" Noroi explained seeing the pure curiosity and fascination on Junpei. She then started to explain her realm to him.

"Uh, question. Why does Itadori's shadow have a red color?"

"That's Sukuna's shadow"

"Sukuna" Junpei whispered. "The king of curses. Yuji is the vessel. His shadow is the white one and Sukuna's shadow is the red one. It's like two souls in one body" Noroi mumbled frowning.

'Two souls on one body... Idle transfiguration messes with the soul'

Noroi steals a glance at Yuji.

'Was the reason his technique doesn't work on him is that he has two souls? But how about me? What was the reason why it didn't work on me too?'

"How come you don't have a shadow?" Snapped out from her thoughts. "I'm also wondering why you don't have a shadow, Roi" both boys are looking at her with curiosity.

"This place" she gestured the whole place. "Is my realm" they frowned and Noroi doesn't expect that they'll be dumb or she's just really making things complicates to them.

"Idiot" Junpei jumped away startled hearing a voice. "This place is inside her shadow. This whole place is her shadow. Her realm is her shadow" Noroi was impressed.

"Hahaha sorry. Could have given you a warning about that he can pop out sometimes" Yuji sheepishly smiles slapping his cheek. "Yeah, you should have" Junpei whispered spook out after seeing a mouth on his friend's cheek.

Noroi just stared at Yuji especially at the scars under his eyes. Questions run on her head, the endless thoughts are back again and before it can affect the whole place she shakes her head to get off it.

"Let's go," she told them walking again. Sukuna just lazily sits on his throne face leaning on his hand, eyes narrowing at her back.

Just like Noroi he also has questions running on his mind added with endless thoughts and to make it worse his mind gives him a sudden recap of the past.

"Noroi, where are we going?" Yuji finally asked her the question they'd been meaning to ask. "Somewhere here in Tokyo" well that wasn't the answer they wanted from her.

"Isn't this trespassing? Won't we get sued for this?" Junpei spoke when they entered a building. "No" Noroi answered the elevator door opening, and they went inside.

"Even if we get sued Roi has a backer" Yuji grinned. "She also has a wealthy family backing her up so her being sued is impossible" Noroi glance at him expressing turning poker and Sukuna perked up remembering a certain conversation she had with the officer and he had with her.

The elevator opened but they didn't step out, instead, the place changed going to the last floor and her shadow retracted back to her.

The two stood there like they got caught which is in fact they got seeing how the guards guarding the double door are looking at them in shock.

"N-Noroi-sama!"

"Noroi-sama?"

"To make this short Noroi is a valuable person after she saved someone important of the rich family"

"Oh so like in the movies?"

"Yeah like those scenes in the movies"

Noroi walked and they followed her, the guards bowing their heads and opening the door for her.

Noroi stopped so as them. "The room is empty—" Noroi kicked the coffee table blocking the knives that appeared out of nowhere. "Noroi, above you!" Noroi pulled one of the knives out blocking the person's attack.

"My my if it isn't—" he didn't manage to finish his words when a fist collided with his face, making him take a step back.

"Fuck!" He hissed holding his lips that is bleeding. "You fucking bastard—" Yuji kicked the knife off his hand and gave him a roundhouse kick on the temple knocking him out.

"Roi, let's go—" the door slammed open.

"Sorry, I'm late! I bought snacks— Itadori?"

"Taro!" Yuji exclaimed in relief. Taro's eyes move dropping down to the side. "Holy shit!" He almost drop the snacks he was carrying.

"Itadori, did you do that?!" Yuji nodded his head. "This person attacked Roi" Yuji answered and he was confused why Taro laughed like a hyena.

He rushed in their direction placing the snacks on the sofa. Noroi approached the sofa and took a sit taking out the snacks.

Yuji got a bad feeling when Taro snapped pictures of the unconscious man. "Before I forgot" Junpei got scared at the smile Taro gave at him.

"Who the fuck are you? I've never seen your face and as far as I can remember Noroi-sama doesn't have someone like you"

"Ah Taro, meet Junpei! He's our friend!" Yuji enthusiastically introduced the nervous Junpei. "Also Junpei meets Taro he bites!" Yudoesn'trinned.

"The fuck you mean I bite?! Want me to ripe that tongue of yours?!"

"I'm happy to see you again"

"Oh, the feelings aren't mutual—"

They looked at the body down them when they heard it groan. "S-Shit my head hurts. What happened—" he whipped his head and Yuji gave him a sheepish smile.

"Oh hi—" Yuji moved to the side dodging his face and he stretched his legs. Taro cackle like a villain when the person tripped.

Yuji dodged the bullet. Junpei flinched and hurriedly run in Noroi's direction. Yuji kicked the gun and it flew into the air. The two of them ran to catch it and the other person was the first one to catch it but the problem is instead of catching it literally he accidentally slapped the gun and everyone froze when the cookie dropped to the ground.

Noroi looked down staring at the cookie she was about to eat. She picked it up quickly and her eyes saw the gun lying beside the couch.

"Rip" Taro snickered catching everything with his phone.

"I'm innocent!" Yuji shouted hands raised in the air. "The fuck you mean you're innocent?!" He hissed. "You slapped the gun instead of catching it and look what happened!" Yuji answered.

"Well if you didn't kick the guns off my hands this won't happen!"

"Well if you didn't attack us in the first place none of this will happen!"

"You fucking brat—"

The sound of a gunshot startled them. "That's enough. The greeting is over" Noroi monotonously said after firing the gun to the ceiling.

"It's now for introduction"

"Tsk" he whipped his head and glared at Yuji. "Eito and I am not sure if I would say it's nice meeting you" he scowls. "I'll say your attacks are remarkable but I can't see your will to kill someone" Yuji tensed. "I'm this world we only believe in two things. The basic rule is I will not kill you so don't kill me either" Eito said expression turning old.

"And the last one is. Kill or be killed"

"That's enough" Eito stopped hearing the underlying warning in her tone. "Why are you even here in the first place? Taro" Taro flinched, he didn't expect he will get dragged into this mess.

"Why the fuck is he here?"

"I don't know. I didn't expect him to be here" he mumbled. "Eito, explain yourself" Noroi ordered. "Well other than hearing that annoying bastard muttering shits saying "Sweet. I need to bring sweets" while running past me ignoring my presence I have a guess it was you because there's no other bastard like you in our circle who has a sweet tooth" Eito answered grimacing.

"Then if you don't have anything to do here. Leave already" Taro scowls making Eito scowl too. "Why would I leave when Noroi-sama is here?" He asked.

"Does she even need you mostly does she want your presence to be here?" Taro smirked. "If you two want to kill each other fucking get out of the office and bring someone reliable to me" her comment made them froze.

"Someone"

"Reliable?"

"I don't need someone that will annoy the fuck out of me and stress me out. So get out before I put a bullet through your body, creating holes in your clothes" Noroi scowls glaring at the two.

"I'm reliable! I'm the most reliable person—"

"You on drugs?! The fuck do you mean you're the reliable person here?!"

"Well Noroi-sama approached me a lot of times already" he snickered smirking so smugly and Eito stole the gun from Noroi's hand and Taro picked up the knife blocking the bullets.

The two were about to approach Noroi but stopped seeing her expression blank. "Let's go here" Yuji whispered pointing at the corner of the room.

"One"

"Don't get cocky, Taro!"

"Two"

"I'm just saying facts!"

"Three"

"Go to hell!"

"You go to hell first—"

They stopped fighting. "You two are really getting on my nerves" Noroi whispered her eyes turning dark and sharp. "We're sorry!" They shouted quickly kneeling on the ground.

"We're fucking wasting a lot of time here"

"We know. We're sorry about that" they mumbled standing up having a guilty expression on their faces.

"Let's get down to business" Noroi grumbles and Eito's muscles tensed when she looked at him. "Well he's here might as well make use of him" she mumbled sighing loudly.

"Well let's go to the conference room. This room is in a wreck" Taro mumbled eyeing the ruined furniture and scattered pieces of table and bullets around.

"Roi, are you really in the mafia?" Yuji asked when they approached her. "Stop saying shits" she grumbles finishing the cookie that fell a while ago.

"Also" her voice turned quiet. "Don't let what Eito said, get to you" she mumbles. "He's just like Taro but more worse" Yuji chuckled. "Yeah, I noticed it. My first meeting with Taro wasn't good he also said some mean words" he smiles.

"You really got yourself tangled with weird people huh?" He teased. "Yeah, weird people" she mumbles looking at him. "Hey, why are you looking at me like that like I'm a weird person?!" Yuji pouted.

"Well, aren't you weird? And also a creep?" Taro mumbled opening the door of the conference room. "Well yeah I'm weird but I am not a creep!" He hissed. "Yes, you are. Even uncle Yamada will agree with me" he grimaces clapping his hands the lights turning on.

"Is this even a conference room? It looks more like a living room" Yuji mumbled. "This room is only used for certain situations like this. The conference room used for a meeting is outside of this office" Taro answered.

"Before I forgot who's that person?" Eito frown and Junpei took the first move to introduce himself. "Junpei. It's nice to meet you Eito-san" Junpei is nervous it's obvious this person isn't the people you should mess with.

"Eito," Eito said looking at Noroi. "So what's this all about?" They all take a sit. Yuji is between Noroi and Junpei. Taro in front of them and Eito in their side.

"We're planning to revenge some"

"Oh, so we're killing—"

"Stop watching movies" Noroi glared at him and Eito quickly got what she meant. "You know how kill can be interpreted in a lot of ways" he drawled.

"So what's this revenge about and how is this connected to my father?" Taro knows this isn't dirty works especially when those two especially him are here.

"We're going to put some annoying pest behind bars"

"Oh going justice"

"Eito, shut up" Eito shut his mouth hearing her voice snappy. "Junpei" he looked at Noroi. "Tell them the named" he nodded his head and told them the name of the people who tormented his life.

"Huh, are you for real? We're just putting them behind bars that quick? Is that even revenge?" Eito scowls tracking their location. "Huh, the fuck you mean? Did you forget my ways after I left?" Noroi frowned, the man has been getting on her nerves since they arrived.

"Eito, she looks like she mellowed right now but Noroi-sama is still Noroi-sama" Taro chuckled. "She's calm as a water but when she's mad she resembles a raging storm" he laughed smirking.

"So what are we going to do?" Eito smirked, getting excited. Noroi hummed and looked at Junpei. "What do you want to do, Junpei?" She asked him.

"This is your revenge, not us"

"Well," everyone waited for his answer.

"I always dreamed to vandalize something"


"Are we serious about doing this in daylight?" Yuji who was the sanest of the group asked. "It's exciting" Taro chimed shaking the bottle spray. "Isn't this what teenagers should do?" Yuji frowned.

"Why are you talking like you're not a teenager"

"I'm 20"

"What?!"

"It's done!" Eito announced. "All CCTV's are deactivated," he told them. "Well if you feel bad about doing it you can back away and just go with the normal way and that is putting them quickly behind bars," Noroi told him.

"I won't run away. Not again. I need to make amends with my past first before moving forward" he whispered. "Well this is not a good way to make amends but I did tell you we will help you punish those who hurt you" Yuji smiles.

"Well important is no one is getting killed!" The trio looked at each other and looked away. "So run wild now" Taro smirk giving him the spray bottle.

Junpei took a deep breath and gripping the bottle in his hand he sprayed the gate. "Junpei, let's do the part where you throw toilet paper over the house!" Yuji grinned making him smile.

"Sure!"

The three are leaning on the cars watching the two have fun. Eito's eyes are focused on his laptop. "Tsk they don't know how to really vandalize something" Taro scoff approaching them and Noroi watched him talk to him then Taro walked to the gates, opening it.

"Taro, told me you're not back. But I feel like it's the opposite"

"I'm actually not back officially not back but he said me I am even though I am not" she mumbled watching the trio enter the house, obviously their cases will not only be vandalizing but also trespassing of private property.

"That's confusing but I still got what he meant"

"Probably because of much I got myself affiliated with his family" Eito hummed tapping his fingers on the keyboard. "Well, it all started on the Tsukechi incident. That caused an uproar to the society and the incident that happened at the construction site" Eito mumbled, checking their surrounding.
