"This is a problem... A big problem"

"What did the other say?"

"They didn't say much after I lied to them that I'm bringing Noroi with me overseas to visit Yuta"

Gojo whispered the two of them standing outside the room, standing on the door frame looking inside of the room.

"You're going to get yourselves killed by your students"

"It's not like they can kill me" Gojo chuckled lightening up the mood. "I don't understand and I think I will never understand how Noroi managed to get back at the school" Nanami sighed. "I swear I saw she wasn't there. She didn't even shout for Itadori's name or run to him. She wasn't there and suddenly she was there, unconscious beside Itadori" he whispered and Gojo pursed his lips.

"Are you sure you don't remember anything?" Nanami nodded his head. "I'm sure I was fine but suddenly I lost my consciousness. Like I got knocked out" Nanami answered and looked at him.

"Any idea about the crow I told you?"

"No" Gojo answered shaking his head. "Well I did ask Megumi about a crow going around Noroi and he said that she's a magnet of attracting weird things so a crow being around her isn't a surprising thing" Gojo mumbled still staring at Noroi's face.

'A crow'

Gojo is sure about it.

'There's no doubt about it'


"Roi" Yuji whispered rubbing circles in her knuckles. "I know you want to sleep. That a girl deserves some sleep but how long will you sleep? It's been almost a week since the fight with Mahito" he took a deep breath to stop the tears spilling down his eyes.

"Please wake up. We still need to break the news to the others that we're dating right?" He chuckled and Yuji can imagine the shock on their face and winced imagining how Megumi will kill him.

"Or should I give a kiss? You know those scenes we watch on cliche movies" he joked, his heart aching not receiving a reply. "Please wake up" he smiles kissing the back of her hand.

How many times do I need to experience this?

I was walking aimlessly on the abyss, wondering how love I've been in this space.

I don't like this.

This isn't the dark I wanted.

Where my thoughts start to get dark, how they turn intrusive that leads to dark impulsivity.

I tried to block out the noise but it was useless because I can still hear them.

I clenched my shirt, gripping the fabric and I can feel my heartbeat.

The loud heartbeat that tells me I am still alive.

I can feel the pain in my chest, my nails digging my chest like I am clawing out my heart.

I can't see anything, my vision is blurry because of the mist in my eyes. But the warmth of the hand, holding my face was warm and gentle. Voice soothing, calming my system.

"I'm sorry it took me long. Let's go back. Let's go home, Noroi"

Yuji's attention went to the entrance hearing a soft knock. "Junpei" Junpei quietly entered the room but stayed beside the door.

"How are you?" Junpei asked. "I'm fine" Yuji smile but Junpei knows it was just a cover-up to hide his true feelings. "How about you?" Yuji asked. "Kinda fine" Junpei answered gripping his arm.

"You don't need to blame yourself" his muscles tensed. "It was Roi's decision to come back to help me. What happened wasn't your fault, Junpei" Yuji genuinely smile, and Junpei gritted his teeth feeling awful even though he doesn't need to feel it.

"We should be like this. Like a depressed person. Roi will get angry at us because we're acting like she died when she's just taking a long beauty sleep" Yuji chuckled.

"You should take a rest," Junpei told him seeing the eye bags in his eyes. "I already took a rest" he smiles. "I'm just waiting for Noroi to wake up—" Junpei stiffened and something in Yuji caught something in his peripheral vision.

"N-Noroi"

"R-Roi!" Yuji shouted her name hugging her quickly. Junpei runs out of the room to inform the adults that the girl has finally woken up after sleeping for a week.

"Roi, I'm so happy you're awake now!" Yuji pulled away and smile at her. "Roi" his smile fell when she just stared at him. "Roi, please talk" he's getting worried when she's just staring at him emotionless.

"Roi—"

"Yuji?" Yuji smile. "Yes, it's me. It's Yuji. Your strawberry tiger. Your idiot and mostly your honey" he chuckled smiling at her.

Noroi continues to stare at him. He can feel the warmth of his hand that is holding her face. His voice is cracking but still gently calling her.

It's nice... It feels nice.

'But why does it feel different?'

"Noroi!" Gojo barged into the room, panting. Even though he can teleport he choose to run all the way to the other side of the room she was occupying.

"Thank God you're finally awake!" Yuji moves away to give them space. Gojo hugged Noroi tightly but not enough to suffocate her.

"I was already running out of reason what to tell to the others! You need to contact them as soon as possible especially Megumi!" Noroi felt her head throb and she held it.

"Noroi/Roi?" They got worried. "Everyone get out. You two get away from her your startling Noroi" Shoko ordered entering the room. "Noroi just woke up and you're crowding her already. Let the poor girl adjust first" she scowls pointing at the door where Junpei and Nanami are standing.

"Get out. The doctor needs to check the patient first so the visitor will wait outside" she grumbles and Gojo stood up so is Yuji who looks hesitant to leave Noroi's side.

Noroi sighed in relief when the headache disappeared after Gojo use his reverse curse technique in her to lessen down her pain.

"Get out already. The sooner we start the sooner you can interact with her"

"Make it fast, Shoko"

"So get out of here already"

"Roi" Noroi looked at Yuji who called his name. His mouth opened but Noroi didn't hear what he said because her attention was focused on the red-eye that was looking at her.

She snapped out hearing something slammed and it was the door that Shoko slammed shut.

"Okay. Now that they're gone let's start our session"

Everyone was waiting outside, the most anxious ones are Gojo and Yuji. Because of that Junpei is getting affected by their emotion making him anxious too.

"You all should calm down" Nanami exasperated sigh, feeling stressed and tired because of them. "We're calm aren't we, Yuji?" Yuji nodded his head grinning. "Yep we're calm as a water, sensei—" the anxious trio flinched when Gojo's ringtone blare.

"Nanami, help me!" Nanami raised an eyebrow. "I won't help you out on your problem with your women—"

"I can solve that by ghosting them but this is different!" Gojo cried showing him his phone.

"Demonic brat number 2?" Nanami read with confusion. "It's Megumi! Megumi is calling me again and I don't know what I will say if he asks me about Noroi! So take it for the team!" Nanami grimace and snatching the phone he answered the call signaling them to stay quiet.

[Gojo, if you didn't let me talk to Noroi right now I know you're lying]

"Sorry, Fushiguro. But Gojo left his phone here"

[Who's this?]

"Nanami Kento. Just like I've Gojo left his phone after hurriedly dragging Noroi somewhere after she finished dressing up" Nanami lied, feeling bad for lying to a worried sibling but he can't do anything because what's happening right now is confidential.

[Please tell Gojo to put Noroi on the phone]

"Understand. I'll tell that to him. Is there still something you need?"

[Nothing. Thanks, Nanami-san]

"You're welcome" Nanami ended the call and gave his phone to Gojo. "You're a lifesaver!" Gojo cried hugging Nanami that made him annoyed.

If the door didn't open Nanami would have smacked Gojo, but he still did to push him away from him.

"I got the results also Noroi is sleeping right now—"

"Again?!"

"Don't shout. She's just regaining her strength and will up later" Yuji excuse himself and Shoko move away from the door letting him enter. Junpei also excuse himself and entered the room leaving the adults by themselves.

"Well this is more convenient" Shoko whispered and gestured the two to follow him.

They entered an empty room and Gojo locked it knowing the conversation will be serious.

"Noroi is fine but there's a problem regarding her brain" Shoko started going straight to the point. "Her brain got tampered but luckily for some reason she didn't end up as a transfigured human" Shoko grimace and Nanami pursed his lips, Gojo clenching his fist.

The two of them are blaming themselves for what happened to Noroi.

"I feel like one or two touches that will be the end of her. Currently, Noroi is still in a state of confusion, headaches and migraine will be frequent because of the condition of her brain"

"Can you fix it?" Gojo whispered. "I can't" Shoko admitted looking at the window. "There's also something on Noroi that caught my attention" she whispered getting their attention.

Shoko took a deep breath and whatever she will say might ruin the relationship between the two.

"I can detect Sukuna's curse residual on her"


"It's faint but Sukuna's cursed energy is mixed with her energy. I don't know why its there but I have a bad feeling about this"

I pursed my lips.

"I feel like Sukuna is plotting something and Noroi is probably a part of what plan he has"

I stopped walking and looked inside the room. Seeing the two boys quietly talking about something.

My eyes dropped and saw Yuji holding Noroi's hand. Before they or he can notice that I am here I left the place quickly.

"Gojo" I stopped walking and looked behind me seeing Nanami. "What are we going to do with Noroi and Itadori's condition?" He asked.

"Let's just leave them be" I can see how surprised he is with my answer. "Yuji doesn't have long to live anyway" I whispered placing my hand inside my pocket. "Let's just let the kids experience what being a youth is" I smile and he stared at me before sighing loudly.

"I'll make sure to tell Shoko about this"

"Thanks, Nanami" I smile taking my leave, my pace getting faster and when I arrived at my room I slammed the door shut and leaned on it, catching my breath.

Why?

I clenched my shirt.

Of all people why her?

My chest hurts and it made me chuckle.

Why us?

I let out a humorless laugh.

"Why are we the ones who got cursed out of everyone?"



The room was quiet.

It was quiet when I woke up.

Sitting up I looked around the quiet dimmed room before my eyes drop on my side.

I stared at Yuji who is sleeping soundly resting in his folded arms, hand holding my hand. Not wanting to disturb him I carefully pulled my hand out and quietly get up from the bed.

I looked at Yuji one last time before leaving the room.

The orange glow from the lamps on the wall gave light to this hallway. The dimmed hallway was quiet, only the sound of creaking wounds from my footstep can be heard from time to time and the rustling noises outside of the building.

I followed the white light and getting out of the hallway I arrived at the living room.

"N-Noroi" I move my head towards the left and saw Junpei staring at me with shock. Walking to the kitchen he just stared at me and continue to stare at me. I took the empty seat in front of him and sat and the two of us held a staring contest.

"How are you?' He stuttered breaking the silence first and looking away first. "Fine. You?" I asked. "Fine" he whispered fiddling with his finger.

I can see how anxious he is right now when I exasperated sigh he flinched. "I'm glad you're fine" I mumbled. "How are you coping up?" He chuckled a little.

"Good... People here are nice... Just like what Itadori said" his voice turned quiet and quieter making me almost not hear it. "I didn't expect standing up for yourself is committing murder" he flinched again and lowered his head.

"It's not like I can say a thing about that" I sighed rubbing my head. "I don't have the right to say something like that because saying it will just make me a hypocrite" he looked at me.

"What do you mean by that?" I didn't answer his question and stood up from my seat. "I'm glad you're fine" I mumbled.

Because that means I didn't let Yuji down

"Make yourself comfortable and welcome to Jujutsu high," I said going to my realm. I walked out of the building, walking far away from the place. When I know I'm at a safe distance I walk out of my realm, the cold breeze hugging my body.

I stood at the top of the cliff, staring at the city lights. It was peaceful, the edge tempting me to throw myself. And I know it will be more peaceful if my body fell.

Taking a step forward and another one till I am not standing at the edge. One step or one wrong move I will meet my demise.

I held my head when it suddenly ache.

"Your reason?" I asked when it disappeared but I can still feel the lingering pain. "I saw a threat and intercepted it" massaging my temple I took a deep breath feeling my lungs with cold air.

"And the results?"

"I've failed because the threat manages to escape... Barely escaped"

Twisting my body to have him. Tamotsu was still kneeling in one leg on the ground head lowered. "You let a threat escape?" I asked in disbelief and he nodded his head. "Forgive me for my incompetence, Noroi-sama" I let out a huff and pinched the bridge of my nose.

If he let out a threat escaped that will surely be going to end up as a bigger threat in the future

"Noroi-sama, I need to leave" I sighed and wave my hand. "Take your leave and clean the mess you didn't finish" he nodded his head standing up and bowed at me then disappeared from my sight.

I went to my domain and stayed at my spot, staring at the shadow that appeared just around me.

I walked back to the building and went out when I arrived at the dorm. It turned quiet when I entered the place.

When our eyes met my head throbbed again.

I was engulfed with a hug, the warmth killing the coldness. The soothing scent calming my nerves and I can't help but melt into his arms.

"Stop crying" I whispered bringing us to my realm for privacy. "I miss you" he whispered. "I miss you too," I said pulling him away cupping his face wiping his tears.

"You've been crying lately" Yuji sniffed. "I'm emotional unlike you" I deadpan at his comment. "You don't need to attack me like that" I sighed kissing his cheek. "I love you," he said out of nowhere. "I love you," he said again holding my hand his lips brushing my skin before he placed a kiss.

"I love you, Zenin Noroi" he smiles holding my face and bringing my face down, kissing my forehead. I remove my hand holding his face and wrapped it around him hugging him and burying my face on his shoulder.

"Idiot"

"You're dating this idiot" Yuji chuckled. Swaying our body humming softly. "And why am I dating this idiot?" I asked pulling my head away, the two of us slow dancing, swaying our bodies with the rhythm of our heartbeats.

"Hmm" Yuji furrows his eyebrow like he's thinking deeply. "Well, it's because you love this idiot" I hummed. "Do I?" I asked with a bit of a teasing tone.

"Yes you do" he pulled me closer, our body touching. "Do I really?" I chuckled smirking. "Yes" he whispered leaning his face closer to me, our lips almost brushing.

"Yes you do"

"Well, aren't you confident? Do you know expectation can lead to disappointment?" I smirked. "Roi, that's not funny" I chuckled and kiss the corner of his lips.

"You're so easy to tease"

"Your teasing isn't good so is your humor" he pouted. "Itadori Yuji" I smile wrapping my arms around his neck. "You're the light to my darkness" his face soften and rested our forehead to each other, his eyes showing his genuine emotions. "Zenin Noroi" he whispered smiling at me. "You're also the light to my darkness" we both smiled and continue to bask in my realm.

I still don't want to interact with the others especially with the adults and mostly interacting with him but Yuji won't stop whining about going out of my realm. Saying I need to show myself to others.

It's like an extrovert dragging the introvert out of their cave

My shadow retracted back and everyone stared at us. Junpei stared at us with amazement. "Lips aren't swollen. Hair arent messy so as the clothes and mostly there are no red marks on their necks" I deadpanned at what Ieiri said while Yuji's face turned to a shade of red.

"Ieiri, they're children" Nanami sighed drinking his cup of coffee. "Yeah they're kids but when Noroi went back to the school she had hickeys" I can see how Nanami almost spit his coffee out. "S-Sensei!" Yuji stammered looking shyer.

"Just remember to use a con—"

"I bought food!!" I have never been thankful for his arrival. It was like turned slow, his eyes peeking through the side of his shades, our eyes meeting for a second, and time returned back to normal.

"Lots of lots of food!" Gojo grinned placing all the bags on the table. "Uh, who are you?" Junpei's question silent the lively atmosphere Gojo created.

Nanami covered his mouth, coughing but it's obvious the man is trying not to laugh. Well for Ieiri's case she actually chuckled showing her amusement and Yuji burst out laughing.

But it disappeared when Gojo's phone rang... A certain ringtone that made me look at him.

"Noroi, it's your turn now" I caught the phone he threw at him. "Be right back" I told them walking outside the room.

Sitting on the rock I took a deep breath and answered the call, speaking first.

"Megumi"

The other was silent and I count how many seconds and got a minute.
