Chapter 25: 𝐊𝐲𝐨𝐭𝐨 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐫𝐜

"Nanami! Tell me a funny story!"

Nanami didn't tell him a funny story.

"I got it!" The two exasperated sigh. "Let's record us playing catch with old rice balls while talking about the separation of church and state!" Gojo suggested.

"Do it yourself. What're you talking about?"

"Can't you just shut even for a second"

Gojo shut up making them sigh in relief but he literally took Noroi's word seriously. And that is shutting up for a second.

"Tell me, what do you like about Gojo Satoru?! I like everything!"

"I like if you shut the fuck up" Noroi's voice slightly snapped making Gojo pout and look at Nanami.

"Did you tell about the finger at Yoshino's hou—"

"No. He would be most likely responsible for it" Noroi pursed her lips. If she told them that Yuji knows about the finger they'll ask him how and he will answer he got it from her. That will lead the adults to get suspicious about her on how she managed to find out the finger.

Noroi clearly knows that Gojo is keeping a close eye on her so she needs to be careful with every action she makes now.

"That's why you're the man. Where's the finger now?"

"I turned it in. If I gave it to you, you'd just have made Itadori eat it" Nanami answered. "Well isn't that the purpose of it?" Noroi mumbled looking at the wall clock.

"Hey, Gojo-sensei!" Yuji came dashing into the room, Junpei following him right behind. "C'mon! Let's go see everyone!" Noroi grimace. She's not expecting a warm welcome from everyone after disappearing for two weeks.

"A touching reunion"

"Touching reunion my ass" Noroi scoff standing up from her seat. "The second years... Kyoto school appears" Noroi grimace at the last sentence he said.

'Second years and Kyoto won't probably give a care because they don't personally know him... But I hope his comeback will enrage the Kyoto principal'

"Yuji, after all this, are you just gonna show up like nothing's happened?" Noroi frowned she can feel their teacher is up to something no good. "Huh?! Why not?!" Yuji yelled.

"You ready?" She asked Junpei, eyeing his uniform. His uniform is similar to what he wore that day. "Will they like me?" Noroi hummed nodding her head.

"Think about it. You show up out of the blue after everyone believes you've been dead for two months. Let's do it! Let's surprise them!"

"Surprise?"

"Yup, just leave it to me. The first year will laugh and cry cuz they're so happy. The second-year and Kyoto students will follow suit. I bet you someone will even throw up. And then in the end global warming will be resolved" Noroi deadpanned at his answer. It was obviously complete bullshit.

It's obvious Gojo will get in trouble for keeping Yuji alive... She will also get in trouble for hiding the fact their supposed to be dead classmate is alive... And she'll get more in trouble with her brother if he finds out she's dating their supposed to be a dead classmate.

"Awesome! Sensei, tell me what I should do!"

"You don't have to do anything! Only what I say!!"

"Right, so what should I do?"

"We'll be going now. I need to make my appearance first" Noroi informed them. "Junpei, let's go" he nodded his head, bidding his goodbye to the and followed Noroi.

Noroi shadow swallowed them and they travel to the other realm.

"Is that them?" Junpei asked seeing five shadows after the place warped to the top. "Yeah... That's them" Noroi mumbled using the tree's shadow to appear.


"Why?! Why is everyone empty-handed?!" Nobara shouted panting. "Why do you have luggage?" Panda asked. "Why? We're going to Kyoto, right?" She asked and everyone just stared at her. "A goodwill event in Kyoto," she said to them. "A goodwill event with Kyoto in Tokyo" Panda corrected.

"YOU'RE KIDDING MEEEEE!!" Nobara shouted in disbelief.

"That's why our conversation about this has been slightly off," Maki mumbled looking around the place and her eyes looking at their shadows. "What's the news about Noroi?" Gojo told them she was fine and she just dragged her out to a different country.

They're suspicious because the person who told them she was fine is none other than Gojo Satoru. When it comes to that man they have trust issues. If Noroi didn't contact Megumi they won't be at ease.

"She's attending... That's what she said" Megumi muttered. "I really have a feeling that Satoru and her are hiding something from us" Maki clicked her tongue scowling. Megumi kept quiet but she agreed to what she said.

"The events held at the school of the previous year's winner"

"Why'd you go and win?! Idiots!"

"We didn't participate last year. But Yuuta got a chance to compete since there weren't enough people"

"And Rika was still around"

"Apparently, it was a one-sided affair"

"I won't forgive you, Okkotsu Yuuta! Even though I've never met you!"

Everyone whipped their head, feeling a presence. No words can tell how shocked they are when they saw Noroi walking in their direction.

"Noroi, how dare you go on a vacation while we work our ass for this damn event?!" Nobara was the first one to recover from her shock and she gripped Noroi's shirt.

"Worst is you went overseas! What do you have to say about that huh?" Nobara gave her a death glare, making herself look menacing that obviously didn't work for Noroi but it work for Junpei.

"Now now now, Kugisaki. Satoru told us the reason"

'There's a talking Panda'

"Tuna Mayo" 'Calm down'

'Tuna Mayo? Is he hungry?'

"Who are you?" Junpei nervously looked at the two.

'They look familiar... Where have I seen their faces especially him?'

"Hey Maki, he has a jujutsu button" Panda whispered but they still heard it. "Are you a new student? Well, obviously you are because we haven't seen you around" Nobara said still not letting go of Noroi.

"Yes, I am a new student. Yoshino Junpei but please call me Junpei" Junpei introduced himself, not letting himself panic even though his getting anxious from their stares.

'What more if I met the Kyoto people?!'

"Kugisaki Nobara" Nobara introduced herself letting Noroi go. "The flower of the group together with Noroi in our class" Junpei felt familiar with her voice then he remembered it was the girl who kept calling Noroi the first day they met on the alley.

"My name is Panda"

"He's Inumaki Toge"

"Kelp"

"He's a cursed speech user and his vocabulary is consist of onigiri ingredients"

"Zenin Maki but call me Maki" Maki introduced herself. "The three of us are second year's so that basically makes us your senpai" Panda smiles and everyone looked at the silent sea urchin boy.

Junpei felt uneasy on the way he stared at him. His expression is blank but his eyes are sharp and calculating making him remind of a certain green-eyed girl.

"You don't look so confident" an arrow pierces his heart. "You also don't look scary" there was another arrow. "Mostly you look weak" Junpei almost wilted on his comment.

"Megumi, you don't need to be rude"

'Wait Megumi?'

Junpei blinked his eyes. He definitely heard that name being mentioned a couple of times on the place. He didn't think that the person who has the name 'Megumi' is a boy.

"You're obviously not someone who's following Noroi"

"Following?"

"Noroi?"

They all frown, confusion written on their faces. They looked at the back and forth but clearly their faces show they are not interested to answer their question.

'Does he mean someone like Taro-san and Eito-san?'

"Noroi save me a couple of times and she saves me again together with—" Junpei almost jumps at the glare he got from Noroi. "Her teachers" he coughed, almost telling them Yuji's name forgetting that Yuji is still 'dead' for them.

"When did you become a hero?"

"I didn't. He was getting beaten up in an alley" she grumbles looking to the side. "And you beat the people beating him?" Noroi nodded her head and Megumi grimace.

"Remember the time when I always disappear?"

"Yeah— alley... Beaten... You're not talking about that incident when we went out?" Megumi frowned and he got silence from her, confirming his words.

"I thought you finally—"

"They're here" Noroi's expression turned blank and Junpei stick close with her when new people arrived.

"Is this a welcome party? Gross"

"I don't see Okkotsu"

"Shut up and hand over the souvenirs. Yatsuhashi sweets, kuzukiri noodles, buckwheat cookies" Nobara ordered, Inumaki agreeing with her. "You hungry?" Todo asked them.

"Scary" Nishimiya Momo.

"Forget about Okkotsu. Aren't you taking too much of a handicap with two first years?" Ultimate Mechamaru.

"It's a robot! A robot!"

"Age is irrelevant with Jujutsu sorcerers. Especially Fushiguro Megumi he is a Zenin after all. I'd say he's more reliable than the head of the family" he moved his head and their eyes met.

"Tch!"

"Let's calm down"

"But obviously Noroi is more superior than them"

'This, bitch' Mai looked at him with wide eyes. 'Does he have a death wish?!' She thought.

"Noroi, it's been so long. You look different. You've changed. Did you also change your mind about the marriage proposal—"

"I'm dating someone"

Nobara chokes on her spit, she doesn't know which one she's more shocked about. Panda and Inumaki's jaw drop. The twin's eyes turned wide. Kamo blinked his eyes.

"I said I'm dating someone. Dating. D-A-T-I-N-G"

"Did I hear you right? Your dating someone?" Megumi asked slowly looking at her. "Yeah, I'm dating someone for a month and a half now" it's better to inform them about it so they can be prepared.

Nobara and Maki looked at each other, communicating with their eyes. Remembering the day where they spied Noroi's and Shoko's conversation.

"Is that the person you are dating?" All attention went to Junpei. "N-No! We're just friends!" He denied. "Could it be Gojo Satoru?" Nobara really needs to interrogate her or the others but the safest option will be Maki so she'll interrogate her once this is over.

"No. I'll rather kill myself than fucking date that bastard" Noroi grimace. "It can't be the Inumaki clan" Inumaki grimace at that and crossed his arms shaking his head. "So yeah stop asking me about my hand because I don't have any plans on marrying you" Nobara then suddenly remembered the conversation she had one-time Noroi while they're doing a skincare routine that time.

"I swear if you keep bringing that topic up I'm going to bash your hand in the floor" it was obviously a threat, that's wasn't a lie because Noroi can really do that.

"You better change career paths right now before it's too late" she firmly said and Kamo pursed his lips. There was tension in the air because of them and the atmosphere shifted because of him.

"You're not lying when you said your dating someone right?" Megumi frown. "No. I'm not lying. It's unbelievable but yeah I am dating someone. And no, it's not Junpei" Noroi confirmed.

"You're kidding"

"No, I'm not"

Megumi is looking at her like she's a different species. It's obvious he doesn't believe her, but he knows he needs to believe her but he can't digest the fact that she's dating someone.

"Hey, now. No fighting" someone arrived from the stairs. "What will I do with you kids? So where's that idiot?"

"Satoru's late"

"No way that idiot is never on time"

"She didn't even mention his name"

Noroi can hear the rattling sounds of a wheel.

"HERE I AM!!"

Inumaki, Nobara, and Panda move away. Noroi narrowed her eyes on the cart he brought along with him.

"Everyone's here I see. I was actually on a business trip overseas together with Noroi. Souvenirs tribal charms for the Kyoto kids" both of them already have a spot in hell for lying too much to people.

"Utahime, that's not for you," he said giving the souvenirs to her student. "Like I care!" She hissed.

"And for the Tokyo kids!"

"Overexcited adults are creepy" Panda commented to the Tokyo students agreeing to what he said. "It's the dear department Itadori Yuji!" Noroi and Junpei were surprised. "How did he manage to fit there?" Junpei whispered.

"Yeah! Oh, Papi!" Yuji shouted and he got an expression he wasn't expectations from his friends.

'They don't look happy at all! What about Kyoto?'

They have a weird expression on their faces eyeing the dolls while Miwa is beaming with happiness.

Yuji froze, beads of sweat rolling down his face.

"Sukuna's vessel? What is this?"

"Principal Gakuganji!" Gojo waved his hand, a smile on his face approaching the two principals on the side. "Thank goodness. Good thing the shock didn't kill you" Gojo smirks crouching down in front of the old man.

"I was so worried"

"You brat!"

Nobara and Megumi approached Yuji and she kicked the cart.

"Hey"

"Oh right"

"You got something to say?"

"Um?" There was a bead of sweat in Megumi's face looking at the teary-eyed Nobara. "Sorry I didn't tell ya... about being alive and all" Yuji said with a teary-eyed expression.

"I need to go"

"Huh? Why?"

"Before I got myself killed—" before her shadow can swallow her something or someone collided on her back.

Arms wrapped around her neck from behind and Noroi looked behind her and saw Yuji grinning ear to ear, showing her how he's happy right now after meeting the others again.

"Noroi isn't showing emotion... She's probably so shocked right now" Nobara whispered. "Will she beat him or kill him?" Panda whispered. "Beat him first before killing him" Megumi answered.

"Honey, I miss you!"

"When did Noroi's name become hon—"

Maki stopped talking.

"You didn't even say a word to me a while ago!"

Slowly they looked at Noroi then at Yuji then back at Noroi.

"Honey?"

"Didn't even say a word to me a while ago?"

"Why do you look so grumpy?" Yuji pouted. "I thought you were excited today? Stop being so grumpy" they went rigid when he kissed her cheek.

"Yuji, stop that. Noroi isn't a fan of public display affection" Gojo giggled and Yuji's face turned red from embarrassment. He thought they went t her realm after he lunged at her but they were still on the upper surface.

"Hahaha, there's no way Noroi is dating him" Nobara laughed. "Right?" She smiles. "Riiiight?" They didn't answer her question.

"If she's dating him for a month and a half now then then" Nobara inhale sharply and clenched her fist. "You knew and you didn't tell us" Megumi growled and the second years move away.

Noroi took a deep breath and placing her hand on Yuji's face he pushed him away from her scowling.

"What did I tell you last night?"

"Huh?"

"About the plan?"

"Oh don't do anything stupid"

"And what did you do?"

"Ugh" Yuji nervously looked around, seeing two of his classmate are glaring at them. The other school watching them like they are a part of a drama.

"Did something stupid" he winced. "You'll handle this yourself" his eyes widen. "Hey Roi, that's not fair— Roi!" His hand barely touched her clothes and Itadori stared at the ground.

"Itadori Yuji" Yuji nervously looked at his two classmates. Megumi's hand was clasped in the divine dig sign and Nobara is smacking her hammer on her palm.

"You have good tea with you. Mind sharing it with us?" Nobara smiles, tilting her head, her eyes held no light. "Talk or die?" Megumi threatened, glaring at him and Yuji kneeled on the ground having his head low.

"I'll talk"


Kyoto sister school goodwill event, day 1: Team battle spirit bash race!

"The first team to exorcise the grade 2 cursed spirit in the designated area wins! Grade 3 and lower spirits will also be in the designated area. If the grade 2 spirit isn't defeated by sunset the team with the most exorcisms will be declared the victor! That's it for the rules!"

"Of course interfering with the opposing team is permitted, but remember, we're comrades in greater battle. This event is an opportunity to get to know our comrades and ourselves in the spirit of competition. Killing or incapacitating your opponent is prohibited. We'll be on break until the event starts at noon"

"Just sit there and shut up," Nobara hissed. "C'mon he explained himself. Just forgive him already" Panda told her, glad they manage to avoid shedding blood before the event started.

"Salmon salmon" Inumaki agreed.

"Inumaki is a cursed speech user. He can increase and strengthen the spirit of his words. For safety reasons, he limits his vocabulary" Megumi explained, glaring at his shadow.

"So, if he tells me to die, that'll happen? He's so powerful!"

"Punch and kick" he answered. "We've got enough of those" Panda said to him. "I don't know what he was up to while he was gone" Megumi stretched his arms.

"But he was with Noroi. When it comes to brawl without any curse involved. Itadori would win" the second year stared at him and Maki smirked.

'Megumi fought with Todo too. Sounds legit'

"I still can't believe you're dating Noroi! No. Roi. I!" Nobara hissed and Yuji scratched his cheek, blushing. "What kind of spell did you use to make her like you!" Yuji got irked at that.

"Hey, I didn't use anything! Noroi just really likes me!"

"Like and love are different"

The atmosphere turned quiet.

"That's why we're dating" Yuji whispered and stared at him. "I am determined to make Noroi fall for me! We don't have a label other than dating but we're close to being in a relationship! And I am patient and can wait for her to say yes to me! I love Noroi and I won't give her up!" Yuji declared with pure conviction looking at Megumi with a determined gaze.

"Noroi doesn't believe in love," Megumi said. "But she believed that love manifests the cruel curse" he added.

"We already vowed to each other to manifest the greatest curse" Yuji's words shock them. The second years looked at each other thinking about a certain person.

"We already cursed each other and I will take responsibility for it" Yuji stated. "But I can't let Noroi go after everything we went through. I love her, Fushiguro. I already got a blessing from Gojo-sensei and he approve our relationship" Megumi narrowed his eyes and turned his back on him.

"I'm going out to take a fresh air," he told them walking to the door. Yuji's shoulder drop he knows pursuing Megumi won't be an easy task. "And Itadori" Megumi looked behind his shoulder and glared at him.

"You better make sure to make her happy. She deserves all the happiness much more than I do"

"I already have a suspicion about you" I whispered, gritting my teeth. "But I didn't think it will be like this" I let it go and sighed loudly, bringing my hand to my head, massaging my temples.

"Great... How many people have been reborn in this era?"
