Chapter 4

"I'm still processing the information that we still have classes" Yuji mumbled the three of us following Megumi who is leading us to our classroom right now. "I am still processing that this is real" I sighed placing my hand inside my pocket.

"And I am still processing that today is raining! How can I go shopping when it's raining right now?!" Nobara showed her annoyance by making her footsteps louder. "Hey pipe down. We're not the only people here" Megumi scowled and we followed him when he entered the room.

"I call dibs on the last chair!" The two share the same brain cells shouted and fight for the chair near the window. I sat on the seat beside Megumi and pulled my phone out to read.

Nobara—Yuji—Me—Megumi

"Hey Roi" I hummed glancing at him. "Have you read the latest chapter?" I nodded my head. "I don't know which manga you are talking about but I already read all the latest chapters of the manga I know that you're reading" I answered looking back at my phone.

Suddenly his chair made a noise and I felt his presence beside me.

"What are you reading right now?"

"Looking for something to read now that I've finished all the list in my notes" I answered looking for a decent manga to read. "Hey try this one. I saw this on the internet" I let him take my phone in my hand.

He clicked the thumbnail and we both read the synopsis. "I'm going to smack you if this is an ecchi genre" I threatened, shifting a little bit in my seat. "Hey blame the internet for that, not me!" I rolled my eyes and clicked the first chapter.


Nobara raised an eyebrow seeing the closeness of the two. Both of them are leaning toward each other while reading something on the phone Yuji is holding.

Megumi noticed the room being quiet, he tore his gaze from his phone. What he saw made him frown. "Noroi" she hummed not even sparing him a glance.

"Noroi"

"Spill whatever you want to spill"

His lips twitched and Nobara is loving whatever is happening right now in front of her.

"What are you doing?"

"Reading so stop bothering me" she answered and she was amused at the next panel. "Pft— HAHAHA!" Yuji's rested his head on her shoulder and laughed.

"It's not even that funny"

"What do you mean it's not even that funny?! It was funny, Roi! Don't hide it I know you find it funny too!" He wheezes then where his head is resting suddenly moves away.

Yuji froze seeing the deadly glare his classmate gave to him after he pulled her seat away from him.

'What with this tension?! Is this what they call a triangle love?! Wait is it a triangle love or love triangle?!'

"Megumi, is there something wrong?" Noroi asked tilting her head upward to look at him. "Why are you so close with, Itadori?" He scowled.

'Did I do something wrong?!'

"We're friends. It's normal for friends to be close, Megumi. You probably don't know about it because you didn't make friends" his vein popped in the side of his forehead.

"You also didn't make friends. You just adopted him"

'Do I look like some stray animal to him?'

"I didn't MAKE friends because Yuji is the one who made friends with me after pestering me nonstop in our third year of middle school. An extrovert adopting an introvert" Yuji winced and Nobara's eyes widen.

'Wait I don't get it! How come she knows Itadori and Fushiguro at the same time when Itadori is countryfolk while Fushiguro is a city boy?!'

"We're friends right, Yuji?" He nodded his head. "We're bestie!" He told him making Megumi more annoyed. "Also do you think you're still off the hook, Fushiguro Megumi?" He slightly shivered and move away.

"I thought what happened has been settled down already?" He grumbles taking a seat. "Yes it's been settled but I am still annoyed by it. So would you mind not increasing my annoyance right now?" She scowled dragging her chair back to Yuji.

"Good morning!" The door loudly slide opened startling the people inside. Gojo entered the room and his eyes quickly caught Megumi whose eyes are telling him to look to his side.

"Yuji, more your seat away! The first day of class will now officially start!" He announced trudging to his desk. Yuji moves his seat after giving Noroi her phone back.

"Okay roll call!" He grinned stopping right in front of his desk. "Do we really need to do that?!" Nobara groaned just wanted the day to start and to end.

"Kugisaki Nobara!"

"Tsk here"

"Fushiguro Megumi!"

"Just start the class already"

"Itadori Yuji!"

"Present!"

'So enthusiastic'

"Then lastly" Noroi got a bad feeling seeing his grin turning to a smirk. "Noroi-chan!" He called making her sigh.

'He really loves to scare people'

"Your five minutes late so start the class already" she ordered glaring at him, making Gojo pout seeing how his precious student treat him.


"Noroi, let's eat outside!" Nobara said after they have been dismissed for lunch. "Let's go get some steak!" Yuji grinned making Nobara irked.

"Who said you're invited?!" Yuji was once again got kicked by a girl. "What do you want for lunch?" Megumi asked.

"Ca—"

"Desserts can wait" she clicked her tongue. "It's my treat you know?" She groaned. "Eh, your treat?!" She pulled something off from her pocket and Nobara's eyes turned saucers seeing the black card.

"Gojo, let me borrow his card"

She was taken aback when the two kneeled in front of her. "You have been blessed by the god of money" Nobara seriously said. "Oh guide and bless us today on our destination, your highness" Yuji added, the two of them lowering their heads on her.

"Noroi, let's go before you get caught by their idiocy," he said in a flat tone guiding her away from the two.

"Hey don't be so rude to us, Fushiguro!"

"Yeah, don't be so rude!"

"I'll just meet you three down the mountain," she told him when they turned around the corner. Fushiguro just watched her disappear right in front of him.

"Hey, where did Roi go?" Yuji asked when they managed to catch up with them or him. "She already went ahead of us" he answered and deadpan why she took that route instead of this route. "Where's the umbrella?!" Nobara shouted glaring at the light rain.


Because I went on foot it didn't take a lot of my energy. Arriving on the ground I appeared and the rain has finally stopped. I wait for them under the tree and it took them fifteen minutes to arrive.

"How can you walk so fast?!" The only one who looks tired between them was Nobara. "There's a shortcut" I answered making their jaws drop. "Let's go before the rain appeared again" Megumi sighed, our group walking to the city.


I choose an expensive eat all you can restaurant. That made their eyes wide even Megumi's eyes.

"Your highness let me escort" they smile making the butler who will guide us laugh. "This two doesn't really have a single ounce of dignity in them" he muttered the two of us getting embarrassed by them.

"So this is Tokyo?!" They exclaimed when our place is located on the balcony, having a good view of the city. "Hey Itadori, made sure you capture the Tokyo tower behind me!" We watched the two with a deadpan expression.


The two stopped getting mesmerized by the view when their stomach growled at them.

"You two are eating already?!" They looked at them with betrayal. "We got hungry" they answered giving them a blank expression. "If we finished without you, you two will be the ones paying for your foods" without wasting any moment they run inside to get some food.


Nobara ate her sushi and looked at the two people in front of them. "Kugisaki, is there something wrong?" Fushiguro slightly felt uneasy at the intense gaze she's giving at him.

She didn't answer his question and looked at Noroi who's secretly eating a cake. Fushiguro noticed how her eyes shifted to the person beside him so he looked.

"Didn't I say desserts can wait?" He scowled and Noroi ate the whole slice making them all dumbfounded. Noroi chewed the food and when she swallowed it, she coughed.

"That's what you get for eating the whole thing like someone will snatch it from you!" He scolded and Yuji was about to give his drink to her when Megumi gave his drink to her. "Hey drink slowly! Do you want to get choked again?" He hissed placing the empty cup on the table.

He took a napkin and their jaws drop when Megumi wipes her lips. "Eat a decent meal first before the sweets. Do you want to upset your stomach?" He sighed blaming their teacher for making the girl have a sweet tooth.

"Are you two in a relationship?" Nobara had enough. She cant keep quiet about this situation. The answer she got from them was a horrified look.

'I thought Yuji was the only person but looks like there's even a worst person than him'

"Stop being so chummy with me!" She pushed him away from her. "It's not my fault she's stupid!" Her eyes twitched and clenched her utensils. Yuji slightly moves away from her eating his steak.

'Calm down. Calm down. Calm— I wish I brought my hammer with me'

His words finally registered in his brains and Megumi stopped. "I didn't mean to say that but I can't help it," he told her. "Are you apologizing to me or just adding more salt to the wound?" Nobara smiles, her smile twitching the vein in the side of her forehead becoming visible.

"Well, it's your fault, to begin with," the two deadpan and even mentally applauded him for his bravery. "But can't you see it?" He pulled Noroi closer to him. "Can't see what? The closeness your showing to me?" She sarcastically asked.

'Megumi is right but I'm not that dumb to say it'

"Look at our face" she clicked her tongue and looked at her face. "What can you see?" He asked her. "Of course your face. What else can I see?!" They deadpan. Noroi sighed and placed her hand at the top of his head bringing him down and closer to her head. Their cheeks touching.

"Look closely" she sternly said and Nobara narrowed her eyes. Even Yuji narrowed his eyes on them then he remembered what Sukuna said the other day that made his eyes wide.

"Are you two siblings?!" Nobara gasp feeling ashamed now after seeing their resemblance. Noroi let him go and stole the tempura in his ramen bowl.

"Huh, they cant be! They both have different surnames!" Yuji exclaimed. "Idiot, siblings can have different surnames!" She hissed.

"Should you be calling me that after Fushiguro called you out?" Fushiguro slightly winced and looked away. "Be thankful I don't have my hammer right now!" She growled rubbing her temples.

"You two still haven't answered my question" she narrowed her eyes at them. They share the slight same faces, both features are sharp. The only difference was their hair. Megumi's hair is eccentric and spiky. Noroi's hair is slightly wavey that reached her waist, the hair that always cascades on her face is always messy and she always fixed it by combing it to the back. Then their eyes. If Megumi's eyes are emerald then her are jade.

The two looked at each other communicating with their eyes before looking at her.

"Relatives" they answered and even if though they know they are related in some way with each other they're still shocked when they confirmed it.

"In which side?" Their expression changed, and Nobara sweatdrop wondering if she asked about a sensitive topic. "Father side" Megumi, a shadow being cast on their faces.

"This is why Gojo calls us a ball of gloominess because we look depressing" she groaned standing up. "Let's get some sweet. Sugar boost our dopamine and dopamine is in charge of happy energy"

"Huh?" The two asked not understanding what she just said. "Or you just wanted to eat desserts" he sighed standing up from his seat. "Both reason!" She groaned stretching her hand.

The two entered the place leaving the other two alone. "Itadori, have you known this?" He shakes his head no. "I'm just finding out things about Roi since I swallowed the cursed object" she frowned.

"So you're telling me you don't know who she is?" He nodded his head. "I don't know her whole background story because it was never been brought. I also didn't ask for it, I'm just content on whatever we two have right now. To be honest I was so shocked to see her sleeping inside Fushiguro's bedroom the other day. I thought they have a relationship. But finding out they're actually relatives" he dipped the dumplings in the sauce and ate it.

"Wow, so they're that close huh?" He nodded his head swallowing the food. "So your happy now?" He blinked his eyes mumbling a quiet huh to her.

"I mean you don't need to worry right?"

"I don't get you" Nobara sighed eating the sushi. "Of course you won't. Your an idiot" she muttered swallowing the food.

"My point is you don't have a rival when it comes to her. The person you see as a rival was actually a relative of her. And by rival, I mean rival by heart" she emphasized. "You finally got a breather seeing you're the only person who likes her right?" His eyes turned wide.

"Wait you don't like— oh you like her" she mumbled seeing him furiously blushing. "So you really do like No—" he cut her off. "I-I don't like her! We're just friends! Bestie like I said!" He shouted frantically waving his arm.

"Drop the bullshit, Itadori. I know you like her. You're so obvious" her words got repeated over and over in his head and his face exploded.

"Oi, are you for real?!" Nobara was startled when he short-fused. "I was just joking! Wake up!" She shakes his body and cusses when he didn't wake up.

"What happened here?" She flinched when the two arrived. "What happened to Yuji?" She bit her lips not knowing what answer she should give to him.

'You owe me a dress, idiot'

"I accidentally knocked him out"


It took Yuji five minutes to regain his conscious back. "You okay?" I asked and he nodded his head slightly still in a daze.

"What did you do to make Kugisaki knock you out?"

"Huh, she knocked me out?"

Did she knock him really hard to the point he forgot he got knocked by her?

"Whatever let's just eat. Noroi wants to go shopping after this" Nobara's eyes widen and shined. "I didn't say shopping like buying I mean window shopping" she sulked.

"But if the three of you have any plans to buy something feel free to use Gojo's card" her eyes shine together with Yuji.

"I'll go first!"

"What do you mean you'll go first?! Don't you know ladies first?!"

Lunch got resumed and I have never got lunch as chaotic as this one.

Well dinner last night was also chaotic


Noroi was happily munching the desserts she gathered when her phone inside her pocket vibrated. She answered the call without looking who the caller is.

"Hello" she greeted eating a spoonful of parfait with a piece of strawberry in it.

[Kuroda]

She choked startling the three. Yuji quickly offered her his drink and it was now successful. "Be right back" she hissed walking away to a good distance.

"I am kinda worried that the cause of her death will be choking on foods" Nobara sighed making Yuji snicker. "I will feel embarrassed and even ashamed if that will be the cause of her death" Megumi sighed making the two chuckle.

"Hey hey hey look! Noroi is smiling and laughing!" Nobara whispered and they both quickly whipped her head to look at her, and she's right. Noroi has a small smile on her face and chuckles.

'Is she talking to him? Did the news about her reach him?'

Yuji's lips thinned and he felt something in his chest that made him blink.

"Hey, I need to go. You need to sleep you know that?" He chuckled. [I forgot about the time thanks for reminding me about it] Noroi smile.

"Bye"

[Bye]

She placed my phone inside her pocket after the call ended. "Who was that?" Noroi gave him an annoyed look. "You've been nosy since yesterday. Mind your own business, brat" he clicked his tongue.

"You're only months older than me"

"Then show some respect"

"Whatever, granny" she gripped his head earning a hiss from him. "Call me granny again and I'll make you wish you've been swallowed instead of being shot inside" he slapped her arm giving Noroi a disgusted look.

The two stifled their laughter and looked away whistling when Megumi gave them a glare.

Lunch continue again and this time they didn't get disturbed again.


The four went on their separate ways but Yuji ended with Nobara because she has the black card. And Megumi doesn't have a choice but to stick with Noroi, so their group went in pairs.

"Itadori"

"What?"

"Do you think whoever called Noroi a while ago was her boyfriend?" Yuji raised an eyebrow. "Roi doesn't have a boyfriend" now it was her then to raise an eyebrow. "How could you know? You don't even know that she was a sorcerer not long ago. You also don't know she's related to Fushiguro so how could you know she doesn't have a boyfriend?" He crossed his arms pouting.

"So what if Roi has a boyfriend? You'll think I'll accept it? Of course not!" She smirks. "I can't accept that she'll get a boyfriend first before I get a girlfriend!" Her smirk fell and she didn't hesitate to kick him away.

"What the hell is your problem?! I'm going to tell Roi how you beat me!" She gave him a glare and crossed her arms. "Tell her and I'll tell her that you like her" she's not afraid of the girl. She's really not afraid of her.

"I don't like, Roi! We're friends! F. R. I. E. N. D. S! We're just friends" he groaned rubbing his face. "Bestie. Pal. Bro. Partners in crime. We're just like that, Kugisaki, cant you get it?" She clicked her tongue.

"Whatever! The more you keep denying it the more your feelings will get stronger!" She hissed throwing the card to him which he caught.

"Buy whatever you like right now so we can go before the rain starts to pour again"


Should I buy something? I don't have Gojo's card right now and I don't feel like wasting my own money

I browse around the aisle, continuing my window shopping. I went to the manga section and deadpan seeing Yuji there. "Yuji" he looked in my direction and smile. "Kugisaki finally gave me the card after entering a lot of stores" he chuckled showing me the black card.

She and Gojo will surely get along when it comes to buying famous branded items

He approached me and leaned down whispering something that made my eyes wide.

"Are you sure?" He nodded his head. "I'm going to beat you if you lie to me" I threatened and he raised his hand in surrender. "When did I lie about stuff that is serious and important to you, Roi-chan?" He smiles making me clicked my tongue in annoyance.

"Then let's go and buy it" I held his shirt and dragged him away. "Wrong direction!" I went in the other direction then he held my wrist. "Wrong again" he chuckled and I gave him a glare.

"I am seriously going to beat you"

"Meanie!"


I left the store sipping my tea and I almost got choked by the pearls seeing the two going somewhere with a happy expression on their faces.

"Kugisaki"

"Eek!" I jumped and gave Fushiguro an annoyed look for scaring me. "Have you seen Noroi?" I held the straw with my lips and sip. "No" I answered with a smile.

"But I do see Itadori going there" I pointed in the other direction. "I'm not asking for that idiot's lo— let's go. We can't leave Itadori unattended especially now that he's a walking time bomb and a nuclear weapon" I looked at where the two went and follow Fushiguro.

Itadori be thankful that I'm risking my life just so you can have time with her!!


"Let's wear this and watch some movies"

"If we're going to watch a movie then let's buy some snacks"

My eyes caught something on the racks and didn't hesitate to place it inside the basket.

"I think this is enough. Let's pay for it and buy some snacks" I nodded my head and we went in line paying for it. Walking out of the store were carrying four bags, two in each hand.

Thankful the nearest store wasn't that far away from where the last store we're at. "Wah! We almost got caught in the rain!" He laughed making me scoff.

I took a cart and we placed our belongings there. "Hey no instant noodles" he reprimanded me when I gathered some noodles in my arms. We stared at each other and I placed the noodles inside the cart.
