Chapter 15

"You know" Noroi dash in his direction and swing her sword. "I was surprised when you asked me to train you" he dodged it with ease, smiling at her. "Aren't you the type to train by yourself in the dark?" He chuckled dodging the divine dogs.

"It's annoying and useless to practice with my technique if we don't have a real-life target" Noroi throw the sword at him and held on to the bandages and summoned the well-known abyss. "So I'm just your training target?!" He pouted moving to the side dodging the sword and ducking to move the dogs and jumping away to avoid the toads.

Noroi pulled the bandage, pulling her sword, and held the handle tightly running in his direction again.

Gojo chuckled at his student's sudden determination to train. It was still very early in the morning, the sun hasn't risen and here they are, outside the house training after she barged in his room.

He continues to dodge the barrage attacks of her and her shikigami. Jumping away to keep a safe distance Gojo felt a presence behind him. Turning around he saw one of the toads lunging onto him. Raising his hand to catch it suddenly dissipates.

'Oh so she uses it to divert my attention'

He snickered watching the black rabbits surrounding him. Gojo's eyes flickered to the side and he caught the tongue. "Uh this is disgusting" he grimaces catching another tongue, from his opposite side.

Eyes glanced to his front and back and jumping high the divine dogs hit each other. His eyes widen a little bit and he was a bit bit tiny little bit slow to dodge the serpent that came out from his shadow.

"Hey be thankful I'm not wearing any tight pants!" He shouted having his feet on its jaw avoiding it to either eat or catch him but he picks the former knowing how demonic the other shadow user is.

Eyes looking to the side he drops, holding its jaw and avoiding Nue's attack.

'Wow she sure is merciless'

He chuckled when the serpent disappeared.

'I regret well kinda regret why I agree not using any of my techniques'

He twisted his body avoiding Nue and he felt the electricity brushing his skin. Gojo landed on the ground and he picked up a rock and throw it at Nue, the rock hitting its head. Moving away the bird crashed down on the ground.

"Okay, where is she hi—"

"Checkmate" Gojo's eye twitched and he looked down, eyeing the kitchen pointed at his neck then his eyes glanced behind him.

'I didn't even notice her presence until now. Was she really this good at concealing her presence?'

Seeing himself in this kind of situation made him grimace, a certain memory he doesn't want to remember resurfacing.

"You win" he laughed raising his hands in surrender. "Because I agree on not using my techniques" he added and sighed in relief when the knife pointed at his neck moved away. He quickly moves away and twisted his body to look at her.

He moves near the house walls and he cast his own shadow on the walls, half of her upper body is out of the shadow.

"You know" he hummed looking at her. "Why don't you try getting out there by not doing the usual way?" He suggested and Noroi gave him a frown. "Just like hey out here right here and now?" He nodded his head.

"You usually get out from the other realm in an extravagant way, a shadowy figure coming out somewhere and poof you coming out from the shadow figure," Noroi nodded her head understanding his point.

Placing the knife on her mouth she bit the handle and placed her hand on the side, pushing herself out. "Aren't I really the greatest teacher?!" Gojo laughed and Noroi stood up, patting her tracksuit outfit.

"Compliment me! Compliment the Great Gojo Satoru's ide—" he moved away and glared at her, he brought his hand on his neck and cover his throat.

'There was no malice, no blood lust not until the last second'

He grimaces and scowled at her.

'Both of them are really his children but she mostly takes up his behavior'

"The next time I won't miss" he knows it was a joke but seeing how serious she is made him shiver a little bit. "I'm going to tell this to Megumi!" He whined with a pout. Noroi's face scrunched into a scowl and throw the knife at him and this time Gojo has his infinity on, the knife stopping in front of his face.

"Hey, no thanks or whatever for being forced to wake up at the crack of dawn to train you?" He asked getting the knife. "Thanks" he deadpanned at her flat reply.

Gojo watched the eldest sibling enter the house with a loud sigh he looked at the knife he's holding. "I'm really glad I took her out of that place before she turned up like that bastard" he grimaces staring at the bit of blood on the blade.


I stepped out of the train and yawned. "Of all the day I should have sent out on a mission why today?" I groaned securing my weapon behind me and my bags.

I should have dragged Megumi with me to make him my personal luggage

Walking out of the station I saw the manager appointed to me. "Zenin—" I grimace and she flinched. "Call me Noroi, understand?" She nervously nodded her head.

"I'm sorry for addressing you—"

"Also don't speak too formally around me" I added and she nodded her head sweatdropping. "Would you like to go to the place you're going to stay and take a rest or to the site already?" She suggested, the two of us walk to the car.

"Cafe. I want to eat something first" I answered and she nodded her head. Entering the car she drove us to a cafe and picked a cake cafe for the two of us.

"Pick whatever cake you like"

"Oh thank you" she whispered when my orders arrived. She started to inform me about my mission and I just eat, drink and listen to her.

"Great job, Noroi-san!" The manager smile when I finished doing my mission. "Would you like to go to the next site?" I grimace and shake my head.

"I want to take a rest"

Because I haven't taken a rest since last night

"Understand! Let's go to the place where you're going to stay!" She reminds me of Nitta and I prefer having Ijichi around me because the man is quiet and only speaks if it's really needed.

We arrived at the ryokan inn I'm going to stay and when I arrived at my room I started to unpack my clothes. "Should I get dinner outside or just a room service?" I yawned. "Let's just shower and rest" I mumbled going to the bathhouse.


Why whenever I go I saw people getting harassed in my line of sight?

I just came out from the bathhouse, a little bit with a refreshed mind and not stressed anymore. Just to have it again when I saw someone getting harassed in my line of sight.

With a loud sigh, I approached them. "Hey what do you think you're doing ganging up on someone?" I scowled holding the back of her yukata and pulling her to me.

"Where the hell did this chick come from?" The person who looks in charge because he's in the middle laughed. "From my mother's vagina," I answered and they stared at me and the trio burst out laughing.

"Wow, she's a joker!" The person on the right laughed. "She has good humor!" The person on the left added. "Say" the middle smirk.

"Why won't you and girly go with us? You know have a little bit of fun—" I kicked his stomach sending him flying away from us. His friend and this girl I pulled away flinched. The person I kicked coughed, clutching his stomach in pain.

"Hey you" girly beside me flinched and gave a pale expression. "Run" I'm glad she doesn't need to be ordered twice.

"I don't know what's the definition of fun for you" the two were still shocked making things easier for me. "But this is" holding the right person's head I smashed his head on the vending machine and the left person moves away in shock. I let him go and his body slides down blood trailing from the cracked glass and down.

The left person who regained from shock throw a punch with a scream but I caught his hand and toss him to the ground. "What's fun for me" I smirked hearing the sickening crunch of bones. Letting him go he clutched his arm, crying, rolling to the ground like it will ease the pain.

"S-stay back!" He shouted moving away. "Didn't you say we're going to have fun?" I chuckled approaching him slowly. "Stay back you demon!" He screamed and stood up but he fell down quickly so he crawled away.

"Demon?" I hummed kicking his butt making him fly again. "Aren't you a demon who's dressed up on a human's clothing?" I hummed and he moved away and has a horrified expression when his back hit the wall.

"Isn't your definition of fun hmm" I tapped my shoes on the ground and I think. "Luring girls and fucked them? Isn't it? The common invite is 'let's have fun' and take advantage of the situation?" I smirked kicking his stomach, earning a painful groan from him.

"If you want to fuck with someone, fuck someone who is willing to be fuck" he screamed when I stepped on it harshly. "Don't go around inviting innocent people just to satisfy your fucking lust" I growled removing my feet and shaking them scowling.

"The next time I see you"

Which is highly impossible

"I'm going to kill you, remember it okay?"

"Please stop!" He begged when I stepped on his fingers, bending it. "You haven't answered my question" I lowered it more. "I'll remember it so please stop— AAAAHH!" The sickening crunch was followed by his scream.

"If you tell what happened I'm going to hunt you and your friends down and you know what will happen to you okay?" He nodded his head crying, clutching his hand. Hearing footsteps in our direction I turned my back on him and picked the thing that fell on his pocket.

Taking one from the pack I placed it on my lips and lightened it up, taking a drag and puffing it I left the place. "I need to let out some steam and take better control of my emotions before they control me" I whispered leaving the ryokan inn.


Waking up with a loud groan I placed my hand out of the covers and looks for my phone.

"What?" I groaned answering whoever is calling me right now. [Noroi, good morning, it's already 6:30 in the morning] I scowled.

"What do you want me to do? Fucking photosynthesis like a fucking plant?" I growled messaging my temple.

[Noroi, I'm not like the way you're speaking to me right now]

"Did I tell you to like it? No one's even asking for your fucking opinion—"

[Noroi, the way you're speaking right now reminds me of you having a hangover] my eyes widen a bit and I remove the comforter and silently muttered a cuss seeing cans scattered around the floor.

[Noroi, are you drinking a—]

"No, I'm not" I lied hissing. "Just feeling annoyed. Really annoyed" his line went quiet again and I hope he bought the lie I brought.

[Are you on your period?]

"Not but I can feel the symptoms already" I answered taking a deep breath. [Be careful on your mission and if you need my help just call me and I'll go there as soon as I can] I sighed in relief and stood up. "Thanks. I'm sorry for what I've acted" I mumbled kicking the cans, gathering them all.

[It's fine. Just be careful, Noroi]

"Sure, bye, Megumi" I ended the call and start to clean up the room. Right after I dispose of all the trash I took a bath a long and relaxing bath that made me almost fall asleep.

Wearing my uniform and slinging the weapon on my back I left the place. I entered the nearest convenience store here in this district and brought medical supplies just in case I get out looking terrible.

"I should eat something healthy and decent" I mumbled when my stomach growled. "Yeah something healthy and decent" I whispered staring at the instant noodles on display.

Picking a large instant noodle cup I walked to the counter carrying all the things I will buy. "Are you a cosplayer?" The cashier asked looking at my weapon. "Yes," I answered getting the usual question I always get whenever I'm in this kind of outfit.

"Can I take a picture of you?" She shyly asked and I nodded my head. After taking a picture I picked the last table, placing my weapon on the other bench and the bag that contains the medical items on the table I walked to the hot water dispenser.

Waiting for my food to cook I pulled the white bandages out and started to wrap my hands.


"I'm glad no one died!"

"It's scary that that person is on the same inn as we are"

"Well she did save me from those boys"

"Save?! Well yeah, but did you see what happened to those boys?!" Remembering what happened to those boys when they arrived at the place made them shiver.

"The one on the vending machine was brutal" she whispered hugging her arms. "Does she really need to be that extreme? Can't she just shoed them off after she kicked that person?" She groaned and placed her hands on her shoulder.

"I'm glad you made the right decision to run away, Miwa" Miwa opened her mouth to reply something to her friend when her eyes caught someone.

"It's her! The girl from last night!" She shouted pointing at the person in a store window they walked past. Her friend's head whipped to look at the store on their side.

Noroi felt someone looking at her from the window, raising her head she moved her head to the side and stare at them.

She blinked her eyes and slurped the noodles and continue to stare at them.

"H-Hey are you sure that's the same person from last night?"

"Yeah! That's her I'm sure of it, Mai!" Miwa answered, holding their hands she dragged them inside the convenience store.

"Huh, where did she go?" Miwa asked the three of them standing in front of the table she's occupying.

"Mai, are you okay?"

"Yes, I'm fine, Momo. It's just that" she sighed staring at her seat. "It's just what?" The girls asked. "Miwa, are you really sure you saw the same person last night?" Miwa nodded her head.

"I'm sure. Same long black hair and sharp green eyes, Mai" Miwa confirmed and Mai bit her lips. "Mai, is there something wrong? Do you know that person?" Her friends are giving her a worried look.

"Yeah I know her" she answered surprising them. "That person is Noroi" Momo's eyes widen. "Wait Noroi? As in that Noroi Noroi?" She nodded her head and Miwa looked at the two back and forth.

"You know her too, Momo?"

"Well of course! But this is the first time I saw her in flesh!" She answered. "She's a Zenin!" Miwa's eyes turned wide and looked at Mai. "Despite being a woman she's a candidate for being the next head of the clan because she possesses the family inherited technique and some other circumstances," she told them and sighed.

"Let's go" Mai gestured her friends to leave the store. "Whatever happened last night let's just forget about it. I don't know who she really is and we're not close, to begin with. The only thing I can confirm about her is when she snapped thinks will get messy" she mumbled to them.

"Also she's the type of person to think before acting" Mai grimaced. "But when she let even the slightest emotion she has slipped out from her control she'll move without thinking" Mai remembered the past again and she shook her head to get rid of it.

"Out of every crazy person I have encountered from outside and inside the household, she's the craziest person I know"

On the other realm. Noroi watched the three shadows walk away from her table. "They probably talked about me" she mumbled and resume back on eating her food.


"Noroi-san, please be careful!" I nodded my head and entered the forest. Clasping my hand I summoned one of my divine dogs and gave its head a ruffle. "You know what to do, bud" it gave me a bark, walking away.

Taking a lollipop from my pocket, removed its wrapped, and placed the wrapper inside my pocket. I placed the lollipop inside my mouth and followed my dog.

The place is peaceful, the air is fresh, it was quiet, a good place to commit a— sleep. Yeah, a good place to sleep.

Damn these thoughts

"Free camping—" my left hand move to my sword and pulling it out I sliced the spirit that came out from the trees.

I continue my job, spirits occasionally popped out like some pest which I sliced it up. Finally, we two reached the main site.

"Wow isn't this a grade one curse?" I mumbled eyeing the large cursed spirit that looks like it's giving birth.

It reminds me of an ant or a bee

"Dammit, glad I bought medical supplies with me" I sighed placing the lollipop stick inside my pocket. "Hope the manager won't have a heart attack once she saw me" I mumbled summoning my shikigami's and all of us attacking it.


"Hey, guys did you hear that?"

"Didn't but did any one of you feel the ground shake?"

"I got both. Heard some noises somewhere and the ground shake" Miwa answered brushing her hair. "Was there a sudden earthquake?" Mai sighed clicking her tongue, moving the branches away. "Probably" Momo sighed.

"Of all the places why should it be the forest?" She groaned. "Forest is good! It's peaceful here and quiet and nice!" Miwa answered with a smile.

"If it weren't for the cursed spirit" Mai scoffs grimacing. "Well yeah if it weren't for them to ruin it" she mumbled and her eyes turned wide. "I can hear water streaming it means the river is near!" She grinned running away from the group.

"Miwa, wait for us!" The girls hissed following the blue-haired girl. "Freshwater! Finally, I can do—" Mai hit her when Miwa suddenly stop.

"What's this?" The girls stick with each other very close. "What's the plan?" Momo whispered clutching her broom. "Run" Mai answered. "Do we still have the energy to run?" Miwa nervously answered.

"Hey who are you three?" They stepped back when one of them approaches them. "We're students who got lost from our group" Momo answered, her eyes glancing around, formulating a plan for them to escape.

'I still have little energy left but I can't carry the three of them. Mai already reached her limit and Miwa is still tired'

"Leave already unless you want something to happen to you" they nodded their heads and turned their back, ready to go back to the forest when one of them spoke. "Hey, you sure they're high schoolers? The one looks like a middle schooler while the two look like grown adults" Mai pursed her lips and Miwa's hand move to her sword.

"Also what kind of high school kids wear uniforms like that? And is that a katana?" The rocks made a noise indicating someone is walking toward them.

"How about we let the two stay while the one leave?" The person laughed and the girl's stomach flipped. "We've been camping here on Tsukechi gorge for two days. We need a different kind of relaxation—" the girl's eyes widen when Miwa pulled her sword out, the blade inches away from slicing the man, making him back away from them.

"Sir, I'm a member of a kendo club and I just bought this sword as a souvenir. I won't hesitate to use the skills I've learned" Miwa stated, throwing him a glare.

"This girl is fiery!" He laughed and they will be honest their situation isn't good right now, those who were just watching are now walking close to them.

"Miwa, we need to run!" Momo hissed. "You two should run!" They stare at her in disbelief.

"Do you think this situation is the same as last night?!" Mai hissed feeling Momo tugging her arm. "I'll just slow them down and follow you both!" Miwa tightly held her sword.

'Should I use the simple domain?'

She's nervous but she's more nervous about what will happen if both of them got caught.

"Mai, run. I'll back Miwa up and once she made sure they won't follow us I'll use my broom to fly us both out" Mai gritted her teeth, the emotions surging to her body is making her feel sick. She hates how pathetic and weak she is.

"No wonder why Noroi is better than you and your sister. Unlike her, you two only possess pretty faces suitable for being a servant. Noroi not only possesses a pretty face but also the family's technique. But I hate that she's my rival on being the head of this clan"

"The hell" all heads turned to the trees and a figure came out. "Why does whenever I'm somewhere something always happens around me" the girls felt relief seeing Noroi but their relief turned to worry seeing how terrible she looks.

Once again Noroi's uniform is ripped, blood from her, and the spirit stained her uniform. Her hair is frantic but not as frantic as Megumi's hair. Her hair is just disheveled with leaves sticking on it.
