Chapter 17

"We're actually on the beach!!"

"Noroi-sama, just inform us if you need something" I nodded my head. "Tell them I'm really grateful for them for lending me a hand" they nodded their heads and I moved away from the helipad.

"Roi, shouldn't we go back to Tokyo?!" Yuji exclaimed loudly, his eyes following the helicopter, watching it leave. "We're going to stay here for a couple of days" I answered not bothering to fix my hair.

"Eh but my training?!" I looked at him and raised an eyebrow. "Do you think we just went here to have a vacation? While we stay here I'm going to train you. We didn't just come here to relax" I informed entering the villa.

"Roi, are you sure you're not in the mafia?!" I only hummed and gestured for him to follow me.

"Your athletic really athletic. Physical attributes stats are higher than the average normal human. In short superhuman strength" I commended and we entered the gym. "Good at close-range combat and hand-to-hand combat" I walked to the wall and pressed a certain part.

"That's why" it move, the wall moving down and turning into a counter table. Yuji's jaw-dropping, staring at the wide eye. "I'm going to train you on how to avoid long-range attacks" I took a gun and assembled it.

"Roi, are you really on the mafia?"

"Maybe I am? Maybe I'm not. Don't worry I'm going to use rubber bullets instead of real bullets" I told him sliding the gun he ducked down to avoid the bullet.

"Real or not it's scary!" He screamed dodging the second, third, and all bullets I shot at him. "Dammit!" He hissed when I managed to shoot his shoulder and thigh.

I placed the gun down and took a different gun. Wearing a holster I placed four magazines. "Also wear some ankle weights, we're going to increase your speed" he groaned and took a weight on the cabinet.

"Pick the heaviest"

"I can vision myself having holes in my clothes, Roi!" Securing everything I gestured him to follow me outside.

"It's hard to run on the sand making it good for you"

"No, it's not!"

"Yes it's is so let's start out training"


Yuji never felt so tired again. The weather was hot, the sun is glaring at him and the sand is hot on his skin, making it worse. His body is aching from receiving those rubber bullets.

He really thought they went here for a swim, for a vacation well his thought is right. The problem is taking a swim would be impossible because of the gruesome training he's having with her.

But did it stop him?

No.

In fact, he's determined. He's determined to get strong stronger, so he can protect his friends, the people he cares and the person he loves.


"Roi, who's villa is this?" Yuji asked, cooking their lunch after their training ended. "This small island belongs to Ogawa's family in short this is private property" Noroi answered making some rice balls they can snack later.

"You really got a big connection to big-time people huh" Yuji whispered admiring her more. "How long are we going to stay here again?" He tasted the curry and hummed. "Couple of days before we go back to Tokyo" Noroi answered slightly admiring her work. They still look terrible but not that terrible anymore.

"Can we take a swim?"

"Of course we can. We're here not only to train but also to relax. This is also a good place to train because the ambiance is nice and peaceful" Noroi cleaned up her mess and snap a picture of her masterpiece.

"We can take a swim in the pool or on the beach after our training. A cold bath can reduce muscle inflammation and it's a complementary way to help our muscles to recover" Noroi explained reading it through the internet.

"Let's make a sandcastle!"

"Sure"

After lunch, they trained hand-to-hand combat for two hours and two hours of training with a weapon and one hour of training or studying about how Yuji can utilize his cursed energy to make his own technique.

"I wish the others are with us right now" Yuji whispered building a sandcastle waiting for Noroi. Sukuna was bored, he's not hungry, he wants to do something but of course he can't do anything because his vessel can surpass him.

A tick mark grew on his head and he grimaced. "I'm going to cut off our connection and you won't be hearing things from me and I won't be hearing things from you and see things" Yuji frowned.

"If you two are done or going to eat food try to switch with me so I can know you're calling me" Yuji frowned more and was about to ask him what he means when he felt that the line between them disappeared.

'Well at least I have peace'

"Is it just me or did it suddenly turn sunnier?" Yuji whipped his head to the villa. "Eh Roi, you have a butt?!" Noroi gave him an annoyed look. "All humans have a butt but not everyone has a fat ass" she grumbled dragging the swan inflatable.

"You're so beautiful and sexy!" He commented giving her a thumbs up. "More than your idols?" Yuji groaned and stand up. "Of course! You managed to surpass my likes for my idols! Earning my love!" Noroi scoffs looking at him with a bit of amusement in her eyes.

"I'm really so lucky!" She almost stumbled down when Yuji tackled her for a hug, nuzzling their cheeks together. "And blessed to have you in my life! Not because you passed my standard or have an amazing body but because you're the person I love!" Her chest warmed at his statement.

"I also feel the same way, Yuji" his heart hammered, her words are the closest to an I love you too to him. "Okay, enough being so sweet with each other!" Noroi's eyes widen when he carried her like a sack, throwing her to his shoulder.

"Hey put me down!"

"Let's take a dip now!"

"Put me down, you idiot!" Yuji didn't listen to her and runs when the water reached his chest he throws her into the water, creating a large splash.

He whistled seeing the glare she has after getting up. "Damn" he snickered and the smile he has fades when a black elephant with white symbols appeared beside her.

The next thing he saw is being pushed by a strong current of water that almost drowned him.


Seconds turned to minutes, and minutes turned to hours and those hours turned to days.


"I win!" Yuji grinned when he pinned her down on the ground for the third time in a row. "Hmm you're getting good" Noroi commented and he helped her sit up.

"That's because I have a great teacher" he answered hugging her from behind. "Don't cuddle with me. Both of us are sweating, Yuji" Noroi groaned but he didn't listen to her and kiss her cheeks.

Since that day, before going and after arriving and going around Yokohama, their relationship improved. Unlike before that kisses aren't given now they're giving each other a kiss.

He felt her hand bump on his arm that is wrapped around her chest and that caught his attention.

Looking which he regrets he quickly looked away. "U-Uh why are you" he suddenly felt awkward around her. "What? Speak more clearly" he coughed and nervously looked at her.

"Holding your chest?"

"My breast?" His face heated up but nevertheless, he nodded his head. "Other girls always do this" his face heated up more. "Uh for what reason?" He asked. "I don't know. But holding it kinda makes me relax. Think of it like a stress ball" Noroi answered.

"Want to try it?"

"Huh?!" He gave her a flabbergasted look. "Want to touch my breast?" He gave her a disbelief look. "Sorry, even if it's a man's dream I'll decline it" he respectfully declined. "You're really a shy pervert" Noroi snickered twisting her body to face him.

"Yes. Yes, I am" he admitted making her chuckle. "You're so cute" she smiles wrapping her arms around his neck, kissing the corner of his lips. "Not as cute as you" Noroi scoff and stood up.

"Enough cuddling let's train again"

"Are we going to train with my divergent fist?!"

"That name sounds so horrible but yeah sure"

"Hey take that back! Divergent fist sounds cool!"


Yuji was panting, he was sprinting back to the villa after hearing gunshots. In their almost three days on the island, he never heard a gunshot and that's because her gun always has a silencer.

His breathing hitched when he entered the place. There are droplets of blood on the floor, the living room was a mess, broken items were scattered around.

"NOROI!!" He shouted her name looking for her on the villa. "NOROI, WHERE ARE YOU?!" He whipped his head in the direction of the gym hearing noises. Picking up the tactical knife on the ground and gripping it tightly he runs to the gym.

Slamming the door opened he saw the person he was looking for stepping on someone, a gun pointed at his head.

"Roi" he panted looking at her and the intruder. "Well hello there" he gave Yuji a wide smile and quickly held her wrist using her right hand and using his left hand to snatch the gun on Noroi's hand.

"Bye—" Noroi left feet kicked the gun off from his hand. "This is why protection was made" Noroi grinned holding the hand holding her wrist and twisting it making the person hiss in pain.

The person managed to get out from her grasp and pick up the gun he was about to pull the trigger when a knife hit the gun, sending it flying.

"You bas—" Yuji didn't hesitate to punch the person in the face. "Don't intervene you—" Yuji throw a roundhouse kick but the person blocked the kick.

"Don't test my—" Yuji used his other leg, he kicked him, kicking his chin sending him flying. He runs in his direction and raised his fist, it was about to come in contact with his stomach when someone shouted.

"That's enough!" He stopped and looked at the entrance. His eyes widen seeing who the person is.

"Fuck"

"Officer!" Yuji sighed in relief. "Please arrest this person!" He pointed at the person in front of him who finally stand up after landing on the ground.

"This situation turned a drastic change. Drastic change requires a drastic measure" Yuji's eyes widen when he pulled out a gun and pointed at him.

Someone pulled him away and Noroi pointed the gun at him, the two of them pointing their guns at each other.

"It's drastic times call for drastic measures. Why did your father shoot you inside your mother?"

"Your mother should have swallowed you!"

"Noroi, Taro, that's enough!" Yuji looked at them back and forth with a bewildered expression. "Officer Ogawa, you know this lunatic?!" He exclaimed and the person name Taro glared at him and his game move pointing the gun at him.

"In which part of the earth soil did you come from? Why is a person like you dating Noroi?!" He shouted his finger moving to the trigger of the gun.

"How did a person like you manage to date her?!" He screamed and was about to pull the trigger when Ogawa snatched the gun off from his hand, he also snatched the gun off from Noroi's hand.

"Ogawa, condoms were made for a reason. Why did your wife give birth to a lunatic like him?"

"I blame you for this" the man sighed and Yuji just watched them dumbfoundedly, processing the information. "That person is officer's Ogawa son?!" He asked.

"Sadly yes"

"What kind of witchcraft did you use on her?! How did you manage to seduce her?! Noroi, if you're being blackmailed by him tell me and I'll eliminate him!" He hissed escaping from his father's grasp.

"I didn't do anything but love her!"

"Liar! I love her too but she didn't date me!" Yuji looked at Noroi and the girl has an unreadable expression on her face.

"I'm sorry for what he did" Ogawa apologized giving them an apologetic smile. "I don't believe they're really dating! He's ugly! Unfit to be with her! He has a potato-looking face and looks so immature and childish!" Yuji grimace and gave him a scowl.

"Aren't you being immature and childish right now?" Ogawa groaned. "I don't believe that person is dating her! Noroi-sama ignore every suitor she had including me!" Yuji can just ignore it but he can't ignore how he keeps insulting him.

'He doesn't believe it? Then I'll make him believe it'

Going behind her Yuji gave Noroi a back hug and it was the first time he kisses the corner of her lips, licking the blood. Taro's jaw drop when Noroi didn't do anything.

"Noroi-sama, are you being blackmailed by that idiot?!"

"Taro, do I look like the type to be blackmailed?"

"Well no, but who knows?!"

"Is the offer you offered me yesterday still up?" Yuji asked nuzzling his face on her. "The offer where you can hold my breast? Yeah, the offer is still standing" the father and son stared at them in disbelief.

"Did I already pass? Do you now believe that this is real?" Yuji asked with a blank expression. "I love Noroi, with all my heart and with pure intention. She also shares the same feeling I have for her. I didn't blackmail or force her to date me. This is true and I won't hand or give Noroi to you" he growled protectively hugging the girl.

"She doesn't like to share me and I also don't like the idea of sharing her. Noroi is mine" Yuji doesn't care if he's sounding possessive in front of them right now.

"Honey, don't worry" Noroi chuckled kissing the corner of his lips. "I won't let others steal me from you and I also won't let others steal you from me" she smirks kissing his jaw.

"Ah dammit!" Taro hissed glaring at them. "That's enough, son. Just be happy with Noroi's decision. Support and help her" Ogawa sighed.

"What else should I do?! Noroi-sama is crazy! Those who steal will either end up six feet on the ground or on the hospital bed!" Taro groaned kicking his feet on the ground.

"So you finally accepted me?" Yuji asks and he gave him a glare. "If we learned you hurt her! Our family will hunt you down! The human has 200 bones and we're going to break your bones one by one!" He declared.

"It's actually 206" Noroi corrected. "Fuck it! Remember my words, potato face!" He growled stomp his way out of the place.

"Taro is just confused between admired and love but rest assured he doesn't like Noroi romantically" Yuji sighed in relief. "I'm really sorry for what he acted to the both of you" he apologizes again.

"How did he even find out were here?" Noroi grumbles. "Well, eavesdropper" Ogawa winced avoiding her glare. "I'll leave you two alone and tell the people not to enter this room. The medic will be waiting for you" with that Ogawa bow his head lightly and left the room, closing the door.

"Are you okay?" Yuji worriedly asked resting his chin on her shoulder. "Yeah" Noroi yawned. "Please don't lie. You look horrible" Noroi's eyes rolled. "This is just how we greet each other. Beating up each other. He went here after hearing the news about me dating someone. He planned to confront you not me but I was the one who greeted him and yeah as you can see our reunion ended up like this" Noroi explained.

"This is a normal interaction. I'm sorry for making you worried again, Yuji" Yuji let out an exasperated sigh.

"Want to hold my breast. I did tell you it helps me relax it might help you relax too? Offer is still standing and will always stand just for you" Yuji groaned. "It's embarrassing" he mumbled and Noroi chuckled.

He tensed up when she unwraps one of his arms and held his hand bringing it up. He gulped feeling something soft and taking a peek his face exploded seeing his hand on her chest.

"Give it an experimental squeeze" he swallowed the lump on his throat and move his hand giving it a gentle quick squeeze. "Their soft" he whispered and was about to squeeze it again when a voice appeared again.

"The fuck you doing you hormonal teenager?!" He squealed and pulled away from her slapping his cheek. "You're more focused on her chest than her wounds! Bring her to the medic so they can patch up her wounds!" Sukuna growled appearing on the back of his hand.

"Where were you this whole time?!"

"I just watched everything and let you handle this stuff and my presence isn't needed unless it is!" Sukuna answered with a growl. "Bring her to the medics so they mend her wounds!" He ordered before disappearing.

"Geez, why is he so moody? I really can't understand him" Yuji mumbled rubbing his head. "How about you, Roi? Do you understand him?" Noroi shrugged her shoulder.

"No, and I think I'll never will"

Yuji keeps close with Noroi, he even volunteered to be the one attending her wounds which Noroi immediately declined, that's why he just gave her a side hug, showing her affection, and people glance at them and him from time to time.

Taro tried to test him out when in fact, he was actually going to harm Yuji. But, in the end, Taro was the one who got harmed, who got injured after Yuji reflexively shoulder tossed him on the ground.


"Finally they all fucking left" Noroi yawned watching the speed boat and yacht leave the island they're staying. "Huh?" Quickly whipping her head she scowls.

"The fuck you doing here?" She scowled at Taro. "Roi, dinner is rea— why is he still here?" Yuji doesn't want to show his distaste but his face grimaces.

"Good question. Why the fuck are you here when everyone already left?"

"Good question. Why the fuck did they leave while I was taking a shit?" The three of them have a deadpan expression on their faces. "Also you said dinner is ready right? I'm going to eat because I'm starving already and I want to take a rest" Taro yawned leaving the two of them alone not before giving Yuji a glare.

"Roi, why is he here?!" He whispers and Noroi sighed approaching him. "He already gave you an answer. Don't worry. Taro may be an idiot like you but he knows what's best for him and he already accepted the situation" Noroi answered.

"If we leave that brat alone, who knows what he's doing right now in the kitchen. He's probably putting poison on the food" Sukuna growled. "And how can I eat when he's here?!" He added. "I'm sure they're going to notice that he's missing and go back here. Let's just take our dinner and rest" Yuji mumbled some complaints as they walked to the kitchen.

Dinner was chaotic. Yuji and Taro banter with each other, mostly Taro provoking Yuji. Then the bickering banter escalated to knives flying out through the air.

Dinner ended chaotically and thankfully no one's blood has been spilled.


"Okay potato face"

"I have a name stop calling me potato face!" Yuji hissed glaring at him. "Let's have a drink and have a man-on-man discussion" Taro scowled taking cans of beer on the fridge. Two of them are still present in the kitchen because both were tasked to clean up the mess.

"I'm 16 and I am not allowed to drink—"

"Stop being a damn pussy when you don't have one! You have two balls and use them!" Taro grumbled taking a sip of his drink. "How is that even connected?" Yuji mumbled to himself.

"My father and my uncle may have approved you and I may have slightly approved you but I only did it because of Noroi-sama! I still don't accept you for her!" Yuji sighed and finished washing the dishes.

"I don't care if you don't accept me for her. Roi already accepted me and that is what matters to me. Her decision, acceptance, approval is what matters to me not the decision of others" Yuji stated sternly. Taro scoff and took a sip.

"Are you willing to take a bullet for her?"

"Yes"

"A blade"

"Yes"

"Are you willing to die for her? Can you give up your life for Noroi-sama?" He seriously asked and Yuji stared at him. "Of course because that's how much I love her" Taro mumbled incoherent words under his breath which Yuji didn't hear.

Raising his hand he caught the can he suddenly threw. "Make sure to give Noroi-sama the happiness she deserves. She's been deprived by a lot of things, potato face" Yuji watched him leave the kitchen carrying all the can with him in his arms.

'Did he accept me? I'll take that as a yes'

Yuji sighed in relief and looked at the can in his hands. "Is this alcohol or juice?" He frowned staring at the colorful designs of it. He always saw Noroi drinking this while laying on the swan inflatable in the pool, or whenever the food is grilled meat.

Curious about what the taste is, Yuji opened it and took a sip. "Eh no wonder why Roi likes to drink this" it was sweet and they are flavors which he can't tell.

He took a sip again and hummed. "Are there some leftovers left?" He whispered and sighed in relief when they're still leftover meat.
