Crush.
What does that word mean to you? Does it define a person? Or does it define the feeling you have?
It's just a feeling.
I felt like a middle school girl, having a crush.
I always thought I'd end up with somebody like Tom Holland or Matthew Noszka, but here I am, thinking about Zeke, day dreaming, and stalking his Instagram like a creep. Thank god it's a public account or else somebody is going to know about my crush on Zeke.
Heck I even see these ads about Instagram where you can somehow see who has been hovering around your account, and I surely hope Zeke doesn't get overly curious and find a way, because then, I'm doomed.
I'm in love with Ezekiel Knight and it's so funny because he doesn't even know my name. I'd never say it out loud, that I'm in love with him, because for me, the 'crush' word covers it all.
A little part of me still hopes that he somehow finds I have a crush on him, but not from me.
But then again, how intuitive are guys really?
Barry Miller in first grade had no idea I liked him even when I shared my crayons with him.
Sharing crayons was a big deal.
Those days at least.
I think even five-year-olds have an Instagram account these days.
Ahh, the life we had.
"The heck you dreaming about, nutjob?" Aryan asked after harshly opening my room door, and casually leaning on the threshold.
"Well, sure as hell not telling ya," I smiled at him sarcastically. "What do you want?"
Aryan raised a brow at me before answering.
"Just wondering if you wanted to go for a drive," he shrugged.
I frowned.
My brother has this habit of wandering around whenever he is down or just not in the mood for basic 'life' things. He once told me that he likes going to places because each place has a story, be it a tragedy or a comedy.
"Sure," I nodded and hopped out of my bed and grabbed a random coat from my chair of clothes.
"Mama we're going out, be back in a few!" Aryan yelled as we exited the house.
"Okay, be safe!" My mom's voice echoed.
"Where are we going this time?" I asked as I got inside the car.
"Holland Grill." He replied after buckling up and starting the car.
"What story does it have?"
Aryan looked at me unimpressed.
