"You could've attended their call," I hissed, hitting Peter on the arm as we boarded the private jet.

"Yeah, but it'd be better when we get scolded together," Peter smiled sarcastically. "Oh and my parents loved you on the stage apparently, they're flying home next week to host a dinner party. Save me?"

I rolled my eyes.

"And how many of those dinner parties ended up with you getting drunk?"

"That would be accurately three times out of five," Peter nodded.

"I don't feel like watching you puke your guts out later at night," I muttered, sitting down on my seat next to the window and clipping the seatbelt.

"Saira, that happened like once!" He reasoned, sitting across from me.

I narrowed my eyes at him and looked outside the window as the flight took off.

"Okay, maybe all the three times, but you have to come," he pleaded. "I'll get you anything you want."

I turned my head to look at him.

"Anything?"

"Anything," he affirmed.

"What's the dinner for this time?"

"Pre-met," he mumbled off the last part.

"Pre what?"

"Pre-met-gala dinner."

I chuckled.

"Did you just say met gala?"

Peter shrugged.

"Dude, you're joking," I deadpanned.

"I wish I was but I'm required to be there!"

"Pete, I can't attend the met gala! I'm not a celebrity!"

"It's not the met gala, just pre-dinner, the day before the met," Peter groaned.

"Is it gonna be all grand and everything?"

"No, actually, it's casual, since the met is just the next day and no one wants to be exhausted for that. Just very few people are attending, I swear, we can be invisible."

I nodded reluctantly.

"You owe me one, Peter Apollo."

"Just bloody pick something I want to pee!" Tyler exclaimed, crossing his arms against his chest.

"You don't want a hamster?" Peter asked, shoving his hands inside his pocket.

The lot of us decided to stop by at the PetSmart at the heart of the city after we landed, and Peter decided to sponsor all of us, so we were spoiled for choice.
