I was grounded

I was grounded.

For an entire week. (Not that I'd really go along with that).

Pete got an earful from my parents for our actions, and I received the silent treatment for a day before my mom wasn't able to contain her excitement anymore and forced me to tell her everything.

On top of all this madness, I was trending on twitter for three straight days, which led me to avoid people at school--people being Zeke.

It was tough.

"You're getting lowkey famous," Tyler sang, setting down a cup of ice cream before me on the table, keeping the fizz drink for himself.

"I high-key don't want to," I retorted, picking up the ice cream.

We were bunking math class in the cafeteria, and the whole place was deserted, except for the vending machines and birds crying in the distance. Tyler noticed my grumpy attitude and decided he was not going to put up with that and math at the same time so he suggested we bunk.

"Do you regret it?" He asked, opening the can of soda.

I fell back into the chair, making myself comfortable.

"I don't know, I don't think so. I just wish I was more ready, y'know, I didn't get a heads up or anything, it was spontaneous and a one time thing."

Tyler nodded slowly.

"No heads up? Fine. Spontaneous? Agreed. One time thing? I don't think so," he chuckled, drinking the soda.

"You think I'll go for modelling?"

"Yes."

"Fuck no!"

"Not according to Twitter, you were literally all over there, until Johnny Depp and Amber," he coughed, "Turd's court scene went viral."

I rolled my eyes.

"Ty, I'm not modelling," I declared.

He shrugged.

"You do you, but if you do decide to model, I'm totally rooting for you because you have the talent," he stated, sipping his soda.

"Well, I don't think I want to do all that, it's not my scene," I shook my head, eating my ice cream before it could melt.

Tyler didn't say anything, he was sipping his soda in silence.

I looked around the cafeteria and suddenly ducked in my chair.

Ezekiel Knight was walking in our direction.

"Shit, Tyler, Zeke's coming cover me!" I hissed with clenched teeth.

Tyler looked back and turned around to look at me.

"Pretend like you're sleeping or something," he whispered.
