After visiting Traverse Town, Sora, Hikari, Donald and Goofy returned to Castle Oblivion and sees the hooded man again.
"Well, Hikari? Did you and Sora enjoy meeting your memories?" the man asked.
"Yeah, it was good to see everyone," Sora replied but his mouth gets covered by Hikari.
"But what do you really want from us?" Hikari glared at the man.
"What do you have to give?" the man mocked Hikari.

As Sora, Hikari, Donald and Goofy summoned their weapons, a red-haired man in the black coat appeared, smirking. "Hello!"
Hikari gasped as she recognized the red haired man in the black coat and recalls her first encounter with Lea at Radiant Garden a long time ago. "L-Lea?"
"What do you want?" the man asked the red haired man who used to be Lea.
"No hogging the hero and the princess," the red haired man said.
The hooded man tossed the card to the red-haired man before he vanishes. "Then perhaps you'd like to test them."
"Perhaps I would," the red haired man said as he caught the card and turns to Sora, Hikari, Donald and Goofy. "My show now, Keyblade master and princess of Kingdom Hearts. Who am I? Oh, my name's Axel. Got it memorized?"
"Uh...sure," Sora nodded.
"Of course we do," Hikari said, rolling her eyes.
"Good, you two are a quick learner," Axel smirked. "So Sora, Hikari, now that we're getting to know each other better..." He summoned his chakrams. "...don't you two go off and die on me now!"
Sora, Hikari, Donald and Goofy fought Axel. After the battle was over, a card was floating and Hikari grabbed it.
"Another one," Goofy said, looking at the card.
"What's it do?" Sora asked.
Jiminy hops onto Hikari's shoulder and looks at the card. "Hmm. Kinda looks like the card you used when you made Traverse Town."
"Then I guess we're gonna need it to keep going..." Hikari nodded.
"That's right," Axel said, leaning next to the staircase of the Second Floor.
"Axel!" Donald cried.
Axel smirked as he walked over to Sora, Hikari, Donald and Goofy. "Did you really think after that introduction, I would give up oh so easily?"
Hikari scoffed. "First of all... I know who you are. You used to be Lea. Secondly... You were testing us."
"A. I used to," Axel said to Hikari. "B. And you passed. Congratulations, Hikari! You're ready now—ready to take on Castle Oblivion. You will need to follow your memories. Trust what you remember and seek what you forget. Then you will find someone very special."
