Hikari ran up to Repliku who's kneeling down. "Riku!"
"Want some more?" Repliku blasted Hikari back.
"Hikari!" Sora and Naminé cried.
"Riku..." Hikari's eye widened as Repliku walked up to her.
"Looks like I win, princess," Repliku smirked at Hikari.
"Riku, stop!" Naminé cried.
"That's enough, Riku," Sora said.
"Sora will be next when I'm through with you," Repliku said, raising his Soul Eater weapon.
Naminé looked at Sora and turns to Repliku. "I said..."
"That's ENOUGH!" Sora cried
Repliku's head flashes as he falls to the ground, much to Hikari's surprise.
Hikari sees Repliku laying on the ground. "Riku...? Riku! RIKU!"
Sora looked at Naminé, feeling guilty for what he did to Repliku. "No...What have I done? What have we done to Riku?"
Larxene appeared on the scene and smirked. "Broke his heart. I'd say more like you helped Naminé smashed it, really."
"You smashed...his heart?!" Hikari looked at Sora and Naminé. "Why...? Why did you do that to Riku?!"
Larxene just laughed as she watched Hikari glaring at Sora and Naminé. "Oh, you're so much fun to watch. A princess of Kingdom Hearts yelling at her own adoptive brother. Now that's what I call a sibling squabble. Well, princess, if it's Riku you and Sora are worried about, then don't. Because Riku was never really here."
Hikari glared at Larxene. "What are you talking about?"
"Do you really think I'm just gonna say it?" Larxene smirked at Hikari. "That's too easy! Oh, what to do?"
"Quit the games!" Hikari shouted as she tries to attack Larxene but she gets kicked away.
"All right, have it your way, then, princess," Larxene said with a grin. "I know it'll kill you two to hear this, but I think I can live with that. That thing lying there is just a puppet that Vexen made as an experiment. No more than a toy. It's laughable, really. It called you and Sora fakes, but IT was a fabrication all along."
Hikari's eyes widened as she looked at Repliku. "Not Riku? A fake?!"
"Fake in every possible way," Larxene nodded as she continued explaining and picking up Repliku. "It was only finished recently. How could it remember anything? You get it? Its memories with Naminé were just planted, not real." She threw Repliku against the wall. "Yup. That means, all this time, it's been picking fights with you over memories—that were counterfeit, trumped up, and completely bogus." Larxene walked up to Naminé. "Isn't that the truth, Naminé? Oh, so cute...but behind this little face, you do awful things."
Sora and Hikari looked at Naminé. "Naminé..."
"You two are so stupid," Larxene said to Sora and Hikari. "Don't you both get it now? That's what Naminé's powers are about! She can enter, rearrange, and even create new memories—of anything, even things that never happened. The girl you've been trying to protect all this time—is really a manipulative witch who shackles people's hearts!"
Hikari gasped as she frowned. "Then...our memories...are all..."
"Oh, you do get it, princess!" Larxene smirked. "Lies, lies, all lies! Just Naminé's illusions, nothing more. Binding you two in the chains of your own memories was central to our trap. It makes me tingle to think how easily you both were duped. So close to it—we were almost there. This was our only chance to turn the Keyblade master and the princess of Kingdom Hearts into our puppets, but—" She summoned her Foudre weapons. "That jerk Axel—he used Naminé to betray us! So now, I'm left with no choice but to eliminate both of you!"
