Now, if anyone present at the dining hall could explain how Ja'far and (Y/n) looks, they would say one is a jaguar while the other is a cheetah.

Your P.O.V

It was a Sunday, and particularly training day. I planned to train with Sharrkan and Ja'far today, maybe with those three whom I keep forgetting their names except for Aladdin. After goofing off for the past few days, I felt the stress of the fact that Sham Lash is now on our tails. Hoping to get any warning letter from Cecil, I tried to focus on training instead as it is my top priority.

Not only are we on "watched" by Sham Lash, but we're also in a fight with Al-Thamen. Not that I know much of them. I only know that they're our enemy and that they will cause a huge effect if they win the war. And I don't want that.

I ran out of my room towards the dining hall to get some quick breakfast. Some simple meal like bread with soup would be fine to make sure I don't go to training on an empty stomach. Note to you people behind the screen smh. If I don't eat something light before training, I could pass out. 

Once I arrived at the dining hall, I was greeted by the Fanalis girl. We simply bowed to each other as she took her tray from the maids while I took mine. A very awkward situation but I just had to deal with it. I ate my bread slowly and dipped it in some soup, waiting for anyone else to arrive. But in the end, Masrur did and it only became more awkward. Sure, we were all quiet people as far as I know, but the awkward tension is definitely there. I gave Masrur a nod as I waited for more people to come.

"Good Morning people!! Don't look so moody~ Wake up wake up it's a Sunday!!"

The high pitched voice scared the shit out of me as I almost spilled my soup on my clothes. Grumbling, I turned around to see a certain short blonde haired girl, cheering happily for no reason.

"Pisti, today is literally training day, how do you be so enthusiastic??"

"Oh come on (Y/n), don't be such a bummer!!"

"Look around girl. There's only 3 considerably quiet people and one extrovert. Which is you."

"Awee. I guess we can wait for the others!!"

"Why'd you wake up this early anyway?"

"I don't know. Felt like it."

I only sighed as I continue eating my food and ignored Pisti. Drinking some warm tea the maids made for me and just relaxing before the training. Not really comfortable with all my weapons right under my clothes, but it'll do. I got up, carried my tray and went to the kitchen, offering to wash my own dishes which the maids complied. While I was washing the dishes, I felt hands crept up my waist as I turned around in a defensive position.

"(Y/n), it's just me."

"God Ja'far you scared me, I was so ready to attack with my dagger-"

"So you were gonna stab me?"

"It's wooden so I guess it's fine. It won't hurt you."

"Geez, so mean."

I punched Ja'far playfully, a small smirk creeping up my face. I jumped on him and attached myself at his side like a koala bear. He stumbled slightly but continued walking with slight grunts due to the extra weight. Ever since we've been together, he has to deal with me being clingy, deprived of physical affection since I was stuck alone in Sham Lash.

"Let's get to training shall we?"

Me and Ja'far stood alone in the field, where wooden weapons and rubber weapons are placed. We decided to start the training on our own first before the rest arrived. Standing on one side of the mini arena, I took of my robe to let freedom of movement. My style of fighting is slightly different from Ja'far, and I had to get comfortable to fight at my utmost potential.

We took our fighting stances, mind off of any useless thoughts. Eyes sharp on each other's movements as we waited for who makes the first move. Being impatient, I sprinted towards Ja'far with a wooden dagger ready, hidden on my thigh as I swung it as an attack. Ja'far dodged the attack barely, making a counter which knocked me away from him. I stood my ground and cracked my neck as I prepared for another physical attack.

I faked an attack once again with my dagger and successfully tricked Ja'far, bringing him in a shorter range. I took my chance and slid on the floor, making a scissor with my legs and pulled Ja'far down with it. I got up and took the dagger, pointing at his chest as he was still in a state of shock and smirked at him. Fun fact!! Scissors is a move from the Malay/Indo martial arts silat. Silat uses the whole body as a weapon and is one of the deadly type of martial arts when it's not in normal competition terms.

"Wow, I didn't expect that."

"Sorry if I hurt you love. I just wanted to try that out."

"Where did you learn that?"

"Someone back in Sham Lash. One of the outcasts."

"I see. It's a good move, probably hard to master too. Anyway, help me get up."

"Fine fineeeee."

I let my hand out and pulled Ja'far up as he dusted himself. I did the same as we took a break and waited for the rest to arrive after our short training session. We didn't particularly do much, but it was quite a good warm up. I closed my eyes and started to doze off until I heard loud voices by the corridor.

"Heyyy Ja'far, (Y/n), did you start without us? Geez so unfair."

"You were late Sharr. I tried waking you up just now but you didn't you sleepyhead."

"Sorry sorry. You don't mind if I bring some people right?"

"... Sharr they're right behind you. But whatever."

Ja'far chuckled at our conversation as he greeted Alibaba, Aladdin and the fanalis girl. We continued training till late evening as we dragged our sore bodies back to our bedrooms. That is until Aliyah dragged me out to do a make up writing lesson.

Whew, finally an update. Sorry I wasn't able to update this yesterday. I was busy heheheh

Ok so, I hope you like it so far. I'm trying to not follow the plot too much as I'm afraid to mess up anything as well as I'm lazy to rewatch the whole of Magi. Anyways that's all and thank you!!
