Chapter 12

YOUR P.O.V

I was awakened by the sound of knocking on my door. Normally, I would simply get up and shout that I was getting or something like that. But today is on of those days. Last night, I accidentally woke up since I needed to go to the toilet. I looked into the mirror and it literally looked like I was the cause of an assassination. Okay that was intended. Anyways, back to the story. Of course I had to clean myself up as well as my bed sheets, blanket, hell even my bed. Due to this, I didn't get enough sleep. Of course I would be grouchy.

"(Y/n)~ Time to wake up! Guess what day it is~"

"Shut up Lily, I'm tired."

"Awww come on! One of the princesses of the Kou Empire is coming! I think it was Koug- Kougyoku Ren? I don't know, but King Sinbad and the generals want you to welcome her with them."

"Tell them I'm tired."

"Nooooo You have to go. The King ordered you to go."

I dragged my feet towards my bedroom door and sluggishly opened it. Lily immediately took a closer look at my posture and her bright smile turned upside down.

"Why are you slouching? Stand up straight. You'll ruin your spine."

"Ugh, what now?"

"Just stand straight. Are you okay though? You look pale."

"Oh NOW then you ask. Okay then. My question is, Do I look okay?"

"Nope."

"Exactly! I'm not! But since you told me that I was ORDERED to welcome the princess then,  I shall. Now go away, I'll get ready."

Lily's P.O.V

Wow, that girl is extra grouchy today. What's wrong with her? I jogged off to meet up with Rurumu. I was fantasizing about food, like some turkey maybe? Or some Steak? Maybe fish and chips? And some cake for dessert. I thought about what food the maids are going to serve because there was an important guest coming. BANG! I hit my head on the wall while daydreaming, like every other cliche scene if you ever daydream while walking. I heard someone laughing hysterically and someone who was laughing quietly, maybe even holding back their laugh.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHHAHAHAH! Wha- What was that!? HAHAHAhaha..ha...ha"

"I'm- HAHAHA really sorry- pfft- Miss Lily."

Ah, It was those two swordsmen. The infamous tanned skin man and the Balbadd prince. I looked at them dead in the eye as though I'm cursing at them with my eyes. I sighed and simply stood up and dusted my clothes. Before I go, I glanced at them one again. Sticking out my tongue, I raised my arm and showed them my middle finger and winked at them. And with that, Sharrkan had an offended look plastered on his face. I sped off and made a sharp turn towards Rurumu's room. The said woman was already waiting for me outside her room.

"Where's (Y/n)?"

"She's getting ready. Though she doesn't really look well though. She was slightly pale."

"I guess we'd have to look out for her a bit more today. We don't want anything bad happening to her."

"Alright, noted."

YOUR P.O.V

I dragged my feet towards the meeting room since a maid told me that Sinbad told us to meet us there. I felt as if all of my energy was sucked out by that Black Magi Judal. I felt as if I was gonna fall any minute. My eyes were droopy, I was slouching and overall I looked terrible. Even though my clothes were considerably elegant, my aura was incredibly negative. My cheeks started to hurt due to frowning so much. Maybe I should go to the kitchen to get some snacks.

"(Y/n)! Good morning!"

"Oh, good morning Yam-san."

"Are you okay? You look quite pale. You don't need to come if you don't feel well you know?"

"Nah, it's fine. I'll manage somehow."

"If you say so....Let me help though."

"Err- Thank you. Really, I appreciate it."

"No problem! Let's get going shall we?"

Yamraiha hooked her arm with mine instead of putting my arm over her shoulders so that I don't look as bad as I was. My mood was starting to get better until.....my cramps decided to show up. I hissed in pain and simply tried to hold it in. I closed my eyes shut and bit my lip. Yamraiha noticed my expression and she immediately flashed a look of concern. 

"Do you still want to go? I could tell Sinbad that you're not feeling well."

"It'll go away sooner or la-later. This happens all the time this time of the month."

We continued walking towards the meeting room with just me holding back my pain. I know that it's gonna go in a few minutes tops. 

TIMESKIP

We arrived in the meeting room and my cramps were gone a while ago so I only felt terrible emotionally. I forced a smile on my face and simply sat down on one of the chairs while waiting for Sinbad to arrive. Sinbad and the Generals plus me, Lily, Rurumu and those three guests whom I think was Alibaba, Morgiana and Al- Aladdin? Whatever I don't know and I don't care. I asked the maid for something light for me to snack on as well as a hot pack in case my cramps come again  while we wait for Sinbad. Majority of the Generals has already arrived. I simply ignored them and tried to get some rest before Sinbad, Ja'far and Masrur arrive.

"Heyya (Y/n). You sure you're fine?"

"Yes Lily, I'm fine. Just let me rest for a little bit."

"If you say so."

I closed my eyes and ignored the people talking in the background and melted into the seat. I did however, listen to some conversations due to my curiosity. I thought of what is going to happen later. Will our sort of welcoming plan mess up or will it turn out successful? I was in my own world until I was gently woken up by a maid who had some tidbits in a small tray. She flashed a small smile and excused herself. I popped a few (F/s) into my mouth and looked around. Sinbad still have yet to arrive and I was getting a bit bored.

"Sinbad is pretty late don't you think?"

"Hey, don't call him so casually like that (Y/n)! He's a king for the love of Solomon!"

"Yea yea."

And with that  Sinbad entered the room with Ja'far and Masrur alongside him. Ja'far's eyes seemed to sort of wander around a little until it settled on me. He waved at me and gave a small smile. I returned the smile and the wave as Sinbad told everyone to head to the port. We left the meeting room with me a little confused on why we were there in the first place. I ended up not caring and just brought my snacks and the hot pack along with me. Once we reached the port, we just waited for the Kou Empire ship to arrive.
