Chapter 6

I got more time to update as I'm on a medical leave. I hope you like it.

Ugh....My head is spinning......What's happening?......

Everything turned white and 2 blurry figures were seen.....

"(Y/n), (Y/n)! Catch!"

"Woah! Calm down Saaya! What are you doing?!"

Is that.......me? I walked closer to the two figures as I my vision turned clear. Two girls which I assume was me and 'Saaya' trying to catch each other. I saw a glimpse of white hair who brought the two girls down to the ground.

"Ah Ja'far!" The two girls said in unison.

They started catching Ja'far, running with all their might as they ran towards him with annoyance. Meanwhile, Ja'far was making funny faces as he knew he was faster than them.

All of a sudden, the image I was seeing blurred and turned into a horrific scene. Blood was splattered everywhere and a girl stood in the dead middle of the pool of blood. Her golden eyes shone as tears fall down her pale cheek. Her fingers trembled in fear as her gaze fixed on an adult holding a knife, a psychotic look on his face.

At the corner of the room, a body laid down lifeless. She also has the same golden eyes as Saaya, but the shine in her eyes has disappeared.

"Come here little girl.....you just have to kill your father.....if you want to live that is.....or do you not want to? Hmmm?"

"Saaya! Just do it! After all this is what you get for being born in this family!"

The younger version of me stood there and stared and 'Saaya' with pleading eyes. Saaya took the knife from the adult as he smirk and chuckled. As the man turned around, Saaya stabbed him from behind and ran to her father, repeatedly stabbing him. After all that's done, Saaya pointed the knife to herself and was about to stab herself until-

"(Y/N) WAKE UP YOU SLEEPYHEAD!"

"AAAAH! Lily! You don't have to shout at me!"

I looked around myself and noticed that my pajamas, bed sheets, and upper part of my blanket was wet. I raised my brow and turn my gaze to Lily.

"Is this your doing?"

"Yes as a matter of fact. Now get dressed, your lessons are starting soon. Rurumu is gonna be angry if you don't hurry up."

"Ugh fine..."

I stood up from my comfortable bed and changed into the first thing I saw in my closet. I walked out of my room and went to the garden where a table was arranged. Rurumu and lily sat at one side of the table. Of course like a normal person would, I sat at the other end of the table. I stared blankly at Lily and smiled at Rurumu.

"Hey! Why are you only being nice to her? You should be nice to everyone!"

"Hmm? I'm nice to everyone. Except you. After all I see your face everyday. It is quite annoying as well."

Lily smacked my head and clicked her tongue. I looked at Rurumu as she gave me a paper.

"You will practice writing on this paper. We will start with the simple words first, ones that we use for everyday speech, for example if we want to know what is the name of something."

I nodded my head and held the quill. I looked at Rurumu and Lily for approval and they nodded their heads. Lily gave me a set of paper with some writings as she helped me pronounce the words while Rurumu helped me write those words. I didn't realize that I was so focused on learning this. Normally, people would complain about this. But I didn't. Of course there was a few reasons why.

1- I don't want to get chopped on the head by Rurumu.

2- I don't want to look stupid when I read something wrongly.

3-I want to help Ja'far with his paperwork as soon as possible

4- I was actually interested, surprisingly.

And that was the four reasons that kept me going. When I didn't know something, I would ask Lily or Rurumu what is it about. I created a strong bond with Rurumu, all because of this lesson. [This is so not me. Who else is not like this?]

Timeskip

We finally finished the lesson. I admit it was exhausting but it was worth it. In the short span of time, I was able to memorize all the alphabets. Of course with the help of Rurumu and Lily. We walked to the dining area in which Lily teased me for having eyebags. But I was too tired to even care. I ate my food at an average pace where Rurumu smiled in approval. After I finished my food, I went to my room and opened up the book that Rurumu gave me. I was so tired even though it was only 2pm.

I read the book the whole way and memorized some of the words. I decided to finish reading the book and take a walk around the palace. I closed the book and walked around, greeting some servants as well. Then I stopped at Ja'far's room. Surely he wouldn't mind me being in his room right?

I knocked on the door as Ja'far asked who I was I decided to tease him a little but guess what? He was being high today and continued my teasing.

"Who is it?"

"It is I, Captain Sprinkles, here because of my boredom. Will you, Oh gret assassin, let me in this holy room?"

"Well as you said it is holy, I don't think you deserve it. After all I am the all dangerous assassin as you said."

"Oh come on Ja'far! Just let me in!"

"Well if you insist. The door's not locked."

"Thanks Ma man."

I entered the room and closed the door. I smiled at Ja'far as he smiled back. But....I swear I saw his face turned slightly pink....Or am I just dreaming?

I sat on the chair near a bookshelf as Ja'far and I had a small talk about our childhood.

"So Ja'far, how did you end up here?"

"Well my mission was to kill Sinbad as he got a metal vessel. I suppose I attempted to assassinate him a number of times."

"Oooh. That sounds interesting. For me after you left for the mission, of course I had a boring life where I have to kill either innocent people or rich and snobby brats."

"(Y/n). I have been meaning to ask you this....What did you last say when I left for the mission?"

My cheeks started to burn as I panicked. What am I supposed to say? I'm too embarrassed to say it even!

"(Y/n)?"

"Uh y-yes?"

"You haven't answer my question."

"Umm...About t-that. U-uh. How am I supposed to say it..."

"(Y/n)? Are you okay? Your face is red and you're stuttering a lot."

"Uh yeah. I calmed down a bit."

I looked down as I close my eyes tightly.

"Okay. I'll repeat the question. What did you last say when I left for the mission?"

"I...I....L-"

CRASH!
