Chapter 13

Your P.O.V

I sat down on the ground while we wait for the Ship from Kou to arrive. Still munching on the last bit of my snacks, I stared at the wall thinking on why I'm here when I have nothing to do with this. The hot pack was rested around my abdominal area since I still had no need to press it on. I sat in between Yamraiha and Lily while they stand waiting for the ship to arrive. Sinbad and Ja'far were standing in front of all of us so that they can welcome the princess first

"The Kou Empire ship has arrived!" 

I looked up seeing a huge wooden ship docking near the port. I just stared blankly at it until Lily kicked my knees. Glaring at her, I stood up and shoved the bag of snacks in my pocket since there was only a small potion left. I held the hot pack in my hands and straightened my back as the ship brings down a platform for the people on it to step foot into Sindria. I was still tired but I had to come anyways. 

"Ow."

Just at that moment, the cramps decided to attack me. As much as I wanted to blurt out a trail of cuss words, I held back because we had to keep a good reputation in front of people. I winced and grabbed the hot pack and pressed it against my abdominal area trying to ease the pain. Both Lily and Yamraiha looked at me in concern.

"Hey (Y/n) are you alright?"-Lily

"Yeah I'm fine, I'll manage. Just let me sit down again and I'll be fine."

Lily nodded her head reluctantly and I plopped down to the ground again. I tried my best to keep quiet and just sit down there silently, hoping that the cramps would go away soon. I stared at who I assume is Kougyoku and scanned the people around her. She wore an angry expression on her face with a bright red blush, slowly walking towards Sinbad. I started dozing off and ended up resting my head on Lily's leg, which caused her to also sit down so that I can rest my head on her shoulder.

TIMESKIP

All I could here was loud bickering when I was woken up by Lily, who was trying everything she could to wake me up. I furrowed my eyebrows and slapped Lily's knees as I got up and looked around. I saw the princess with tears in her eyes, hugging someone. Confused, I asked Yamraiha what happened since Lily ran off somewhere else.

"Hey Yamraiha, what happened when I was napping?"

"Well, you see, Princess Kougyoku wrongly accused King Sinbad for bringing her to sleep in his room on his visit to the Kou Empire."

"What? So who is the actual um...person who did it?"

"It was her personal assistant of sorts. He's right there and his name is Ka Koubun."

I looked at the direction Yamraiha pointed her finger to when I saw Ja'far spit at the someone. I gestured Yamraiha to the person in yellow clothes whom Ja'far spat at. She nodded and I giggled on the fact that Ja'far still has that dark side on him. The princess looked at me in confusion. 

"Um...Yamraiha did you guys introduce yourselves just now?"

"Well yes. We didn't get to introduce you though so I think you better introduce yourself now."

I realised that I was asleep behind the rest of the generals so the princess hasn't seen me yet. I stepped out and bowed slightly as a sign of respect.

"Greetings, my name is (Y/n). I don't have a last name but I am staying with them at the moment."

"I'm Kougyoku Ren. May I ask why I didn't see you just now?"

"I wasn't feeling well so I sat in the back and rested. My apologies."

"It's alright. I don't mind."

I nodded and walked back. Yamraiha hooked arms with me and I just go along with it, casually taking out the 'hot' pack from under my shirt. It was already cold and I hoped that I wasn't going to get any cramps soon. I asked Yamraiha if there was anything that can help lessen pain in general.

"I'll try to find if there is anything. Go ahead and rest, you deserve it."

I simply nodded and headed to my room. But before that, I stopped by the kitchen to get some snacks again. I grabbed a few fruits and some (f/s). My plan for the rest of the day was to laze around, even though I know that there was some sort of ceremony celebration thingy to welcome the princess's arrival. I'll go out once someone calls me.

I grabbed a pencil, an eraser and some papers and jumped onto my bed. Since I was simply lazing around doing nothing, I decided to draw. I was thinking of drawing a bunny girl with some sort of kimono or robe. I didn't want to draw something half-assed but I still wanted there to be at least a teeny tiny bit of detail.

I started sketching the base, deciding not to draw a full body drawing. A robe didn't feel right for a bunny girl so I settled on the kimono instead. I made the character I was drawing wear a bunny mask and had her hair tied. Once I was satisfied with how it looked, I started shading it to give more depth.

Happy with the result of my sort of 3/4 assed drawing, I felt motivated to draw one more doodle. I got another paper and started sketching another drawing. Instead of a girl, I decided to challenge myself to draw a boy. It was the same character from before but just genderbent.

I was so into drawing that I drew a couple of other pieces, stopping to snack on things or whenever the cramps came by. I didn't realize that it's gotten late until I looked out the window only t see the beautiful starry night. I got off bed and got ready for the welcoming festival.

A/N

Oh my god I finally wrote something I'm so happy. Also, the idea of the discord server is still under discussion with my friends. I will open it up soon in a few days or once it's confirmed.
