Chapter 7

Hi people. I tried getting my interest back by watching a few MAGI videos and it worked, even if it's just a bit. Just so you know I will NOT discontinue this book but the updates will be slow as heck. I finished all of my exams and I am currently still adjusting to the middle school life. CRASH!!!

I turned my head around to see Ja'far's door on the ground and Sinbad crouching behind it.

"Uh.....Oops," Sinbad said, then sprinted away.

 I glanced at Ja'far to see his mouth open in shock. I playfully walked to him and closed his mouth shut. After I did that it looked like there was fire in his eyes. I walked back slowly and just ran out of the room. I was halfway walking through the hallway leading to my room until I heard Ja'far shouting.

"SIN!!!! You better come back here and fix my door!!"

I looked back to see Ja'far running towards me. I just went to the sides as he sprinted away to find Sinbad. I chuckled quietly and walked to my room to rest for a while.

Laying down on the comfort of my bed, I stared at the ceiling, pondering on the past events. The fact that I almost confessed my feelings to Ja'far made my face turn bright red. I grabbed a pillow and hugged it very tight and started tossing and turning. What if I told him and he doesn't like me?

Standing up, I dragged my feet towards the study table located in the corner of my room, and lighted a candle s I took out a pitch black book, with painted shooting stars and a white rim. A sketchbook I kept since Ja'far left. It was the only way I can express my feeling and keep myself relaxed.

I took a thick paintbrush and grabbed my art supplies that Yamraiha gave me. I took bottles of paint with various colours. Opening the cap of each bottle of paint, I dipped the paintbrush in the bottle with a beautiful rose shade. I stroked the paper gently as the paint spread out, making the shape of a heart. I clean the paintbrush and took a shade of pink, and made tiny hearts around the big one. Taking a pale pink and making smaller hearts and a hot pink for medium-sized hearts. Deciding that I was finished, I briefly scanned the canvas. It seemed like something perfect for valentines. But it already passed so, oh well.

I walked out of my room to take a stroll around the kingdom since I didn't really get to explore much. I paced through the busy shops of Sindria, thinking that maybe I should get something to eat. Then, a shop selling snacks caught my eye, as I (Favourite/Snack) one sale. What? That's so cheap! I looked at the price. Yeah yeah I don't know how to read alphabets but I sure do know how to read numbers.

"Um, can I have one of these please?" I asked, trying to sound as polite as I can be.

"Sure! How many do you want miss?"

"Uh- 8 please!"

The young shop vendor packed the snacks in 2 packets and tied the ends with a string. I gave her the money and flashed a smile to her, sprinting back to the palace after. I jumped on an object and dashed above the rooftops, careful not to fall down and hurt anyone including myself.

I jumped into the closest room window, which happened to be Ja'far's office window.

"Yo Ja'far!"

"(Y/n), how many times did I tell you not to barge in?"

"Ever since I came here, not once."

I sat on the edge of the couch in the office and looked around Ja'far's office.

"Hey Ja'far, is anything interesting gonna happen? I'm bored."

" Tommorow, we're going to the docks to welcome Princess Kougyoku. I'll have you tag along."

"Kougyoku? As in Ren Kougyoku?"

"Yep."

"Okie."

I opened the door revealing Lily. I smiled at her and simply walked by her, almost ompletely ignoring her.

"GAH- DON'T IGNORE ME YOU BRAT!"

"Oh- oh no."

I sprinted aimlessly trying to escape from Lily. I laughed as she caught me and proceeded to drag me.

"Don't forget you have lessons tomorrow at 12 noon."

"Ok ok I know."

I decided to see Cecil at the dungeons. After all, I do have some questions for him.

TIMESKIP

I held my breath and paced towards Cecil's cell. I could hear chains clack not so far from where I am. I stopped abruptly in front of one particular cell.

"Cecil....."

"Oh it's you.....traitor."

"You have no need to tell me that."

"Hmph."

"Cecil why did you do that?"

*Silence*

"Why did you do that?"

"SHUT UP YOU B-"
