Why do girls fall in love?

~Fantasies, everybody has them. Fantasies are great. Reality can be a bolt in the neck sometimes. It's nice to take a break. But sometimes, fantasies can become expectations. And when that happens, it can put a lot of pressure on the people in your life. It was Toni's sweet 16 and she was excited. As official party planners Betty and Veronica realized that they had 15 birthdays to live up to.~

Betty POV:
"So what do you think"I ask Veronica as I give her the idea. "I think it stinks"she says ripping the paper. "She did that for her 15th birthday"she says. "Ugh"I groan. "We have to step up our game"I say. We look up and see Heather, Tina and Midge. "A little birdie told me you guys were throwing a perfectly epic party we're here for our invites"Heather says. "Please Heather you're not coming"Veronica says and Heather gasps. "Give me one good reason why not"she says. "Uh how about three"I say. I hold out my phone and show her pictures of her messing with Toni. Like when Toni was struggling with her books she pushed her. She scared Toni causing her to fall down the stairs and she splashed water on Toni. "Fine just remember every girl has her day so better watch your back"she says walking away. "Oh we're so scared"Veronica says and I roll my eyes. We go into the school and walk to Toni's locker. "Hey girls how's the party planning"Toni asks. "Great right Ronnie"I say and hit her with my elbow. "Oh totally we are gonna throw you the party of the century"she says. I look up and see Cheryl. "Hey Cheryl what you got there cousin"I ask. "A little something for Toni"she says. "Aw really"Toni asks. "I bet it's way romantic"peaches says and Cheryl looks at her hand. "Pink roses"I ask. "Candy hearts"Veronica asks. "Takeout from 5 guys"Kevin says and we all look at him. "What 5 guys is delicacy"he says. "It's a study guide for her driver's test and a rubber band necklace"Cheryl says. What are we in 5th grade? She gives the book to Toni and puts the necklace on her. "You can only take it twice or you have to wait another six months to get your license"she says. "Oh"Toni sighs. "You shouldn't have"she says. "Really"we all say. "I guess I'd better go study right now yay test"Toni says and walks away. Cheryl looks down at her hands and sighs watching her walk away. "You got a girl like Toni a practical gift? Bad Cherry"I say and hit her with a magazine. "Ow what"she asks. "Her hopes for her sweet 16 are higher than Sweetpea's grades and that's sayin somethin"Veronica says. "Hey"Sweetpea says from across the hall. "Sorry not sorry"she says. "Nah I got her something that will make her happy"Cheryl says holding up a silver necklace. "Ugh"we say. "You don't like it no way"she says.

~We had to tell Cheryl that the necklace was nice, but she was going to have to think of something that would knock her boots off. Pressure was way intense.~

Cheryl POV:
I sit in the hallway and call Tabitha. "Hey Cher what's up"she asks. "Hey um I have this problem what do you buy the girl who has everything"I ask. "My advice is not to buy her anything find her something personal something that says you listen"she says and I sigh thinking. Then I come up with an idea. "I got it thanks tabs you the man uh the girl"I say and stand up.

No One's POV:
Cheryl is building a stool in front of Toni's locker. "Hey babe what are you doing"Toni asks. "I'm trying to come up with a great birthday present so I am building you things"Cheryl says. "So you decide to build me a stool are you saying I'm short"Toni asks tearing up. "No it's not like that"Cheryl says. "Forget it"Toni says walking back to Veronica. "Bad cherry"Betty says hitting cheryl with a newspaper. "Ouch"she says. Cheryl pouts and watches the three girls walk away. Cheryl gets up and walks through the hall upset.

~Cheryl was totally in the doghouse with Toni. And now we were about to find out that she had a lot to live up to.~

Toni POV:
I stand there wiping my tears as peaches patted my back and Veronica and Betty stood behind me. "Aw maybe I'm hoping for too much"I say looking in the mirror. "It's just that my birthday brings back so many memories for me"I say turning to them. "You've told us that a thousand times but won't tell the story"Betty says. "I want to hear it"peaches says. "I don't really want to get into it now"I say. "Oh okay never mind"she says. "Okay if you want"I say. "It is the most romantic story ever told"I say. "Are we sure about that"Veronica asks. "Veronica shh"Betty and peaches say. "It all started 2 years ago at my old school like ms Grundy old"I say and they laugh. "His name was Chuck" I say. "Pause who in the hell names their child Chuck were they insane"Veronica asks. "Veronica stop"I whine. "Okay"she says. "He was the most romantic guy ever every girl in school head over heels for him but he chose me" I say and peaches awes. "We met science class" I say.
