Sixteen years old.
"I hate it." Blaine said, banging his head on Jeff's desk.
"Blaine, you should just tell him, Kurt isn't mean enough to stop being friends with you if he doesn't reciprocate feelings." Jeff said.
"I don't think I'd ever recover from the embarrassment of being rejected." Blaine said, sighing and putting his head in his hands.
"Blaine, you need to just tell him before you explode from bottling it up." Jeff said. "That's what I done with Nick, and look at us now."
"Yeah, but you have no fear Jeff, I'm just a ball of anxiety." Blaine said. "I'm not telling Kurt I have a crush on him, I'll go to my grave without telling him."
"Uhhh... did I interrupt something?" Someone at the door said. Blaine and Jeff whipped their heads around to the door, and Blaine felt himself freeze when he saw Nick standing there.
"How much did you hear?" Blaine asked nervously.
"Everything after you not being able to recover from embarrassment." Nick said, smiling awkwardly.
"Oh my god." Blaine said, putting his hands over his face.
"Just so you know, I think you and Kurt would make a good couple." Nick said.
"That's what I've been saying!" Jeff said, while Blaine tried to get the ground to swallow him whole. "This is why I love you."
Nick blushed lightly, but accepted Jeff's kiss.
"But for the record, I also think you should tell Kurt how you feel." Nick said, sitting next to Jeff and cuddling into his side.
"Guys, I'm not doing it. I don't think he even likes me like that." Blaine said.
"Are you blind?" Nick asked, laughing when Blaine frowned at him. "Blaine, Kurt looks at you like you hung the moon."
"No he doesn't Nick." Blaine said, rolling his eyes.
"Yes, he does." Nick said. "Blaine, trust me, Kurt is head over heels in love with you. I've caught him just starting lovingly at you so many times."
Blaine blushed lightly and looked away. It couldn't be true... could it?
"I'm going to go, leave you guys alone so there's no cock block." Blaine said, winking at them and walking out of the room.
"Blaine!"
Blaine turned around, seeing David walking over to him.
"Hey, what's up?" Blaine asked, smiling at him.
"Can I stay with you for a bit, Xavier's in my room with Sebastian and I don't want to be there while they're... you know." David said, laughing awkwardly and rubbing the back of his neck.
"Sure David." Blaine said, wrapping an arm around David's shoulders and laughing loudly.

"Hey." Kurt said softly, sitting on the couch next to Blaine. "Sorry it took me ages to come here, homework took longer than I thought."
"It's fine, we're all just sitting about doing our own thing anyway." Blaine said. Kurt hummed lightly, and moved so he was lying down on the couch, legs rested on Blaine's lap.
Blaine tensed up, but forced himself to relax and began to drum his fingers against Kurt's shins.
"And Blaine thinks I was wrong about Kurt liking him." Nick whispered into his boyfriend's ear. "I mean, Kurt practically draped himself all over Blaine."
