Chapter 19 - Let the Games Begin

It's been 12 months since Asta left the Clover Kingdom to train with Yami and Nacht.

It's now the day before the tournament of the Clover kingdom strongest mages.

Asta now has black hair due to him gaining control of his powers and he wears a black cape just like Nacht now.

Asta , Nacht and Yami are all sitting around Yami's cabin

"What if the three of us just made a squad , we'll become the first magic knights squad" says Yami

They 3 of them look at each other and then burst out in laughter

"Haha yea right, 2 meatheads in the same squad as me , that'll never happen" Nacht say while still laughing

"It's about time we head back to the Capital, the tournament is tomorrow, correct?" asked Yami

"Yes..yes it is tomorrow " says Asta with a dark smile on his face

"Creepy" says Yami

The three of them prepare to leave..

It's now the day of the tournament
(1 day timeskip)

"It's been 1 year since we told everyone we will be preparing to go to war against the Spade Kingdom" says Julius to Marx

"Yes, the whole kingdom has been training nonstop, there hasn't been a festival since you announced the tournament." responds Marx

"I see...well let's go prepare." says Julius

Now at the House of the Silva Family

"Noelle are you ready" asked Nozel while knocking on her room door

"Y-yes, give me a moment" a nervous Noelle says as she trims her hair sitting at the dresser , looking at herself in the mirror.

Noelle still wears her hair short from the day she fired Asta

"That's it , do you think I look alright" Noelle asks Morgen

Morgen blushes and says "Miss Noelle you look great, but why are you trying so hard to look good on the day of the tournament"

"Hmph, I don't know what you're talking about, don't question me Morgen" orders Noelle while lying

Noelle looks at the flower on her dresser that Asta gave her when he returned from the hospital some time ago.

"It's still alive, hmph" Noelle says to herself with a slight attitude

"Let's go" she says

Nozel , Noelle, and Morgan head to the arena.

They arrive and see a stadium full of people.

"Wow, soo many people" says Noelle

"Don't tell me you are scared" says Nozel

Noelle has a flashback to when Asta took her to the forest and made her kill 3 mana beast to break free from fear.

"Hmph , why would I be scared when Morgen taught me Ultimate Magic for a year" says Noelle trying to give herself confidence

"Indeed, no reason to be scared my lady." says Morgen

Nozel stares at Morgen

"Good evening everyone, welcome to the 'Tournament of Power'.. it's been one year since we announced the tournament , the top 8 strongest here will be going to invade the spade kingdom while the rest of you will be on standby protecting the kingdom." says Julius assistant 'Marx'
