For a long time, I thought I knew what I wanted to be in life, not until I had doubts of ever reaching it and failing. More than disappointing myself, I was afraid of being disappointed and started doubting my dreams.

Once we've decided on our desires, we spend a great portion of our life chasing for it. But during the process, we rarely ask ourselves if that's what our hearts really want, if that's our great was purpose supposed to be. The truth is, all that you need is already within you, tend them and do not let them wither away.

Her fingers were trembling, placing it on top of her keyboard. The room was silent and even Raine was holding her breath.

She couldn't keep track of her thoughts, spiraling around her mind, let alone make sense of them. Raine was staring at her inbox for a while, she gulped, then pressed enter. She felt a sharp pain in her chest reading the next few words "Unfortunately your work does not meet our needs at this time. I want to thank you for thinking of us, and I do wish you the very best of luck."

It has long been Raine's dream to have her artworks displayed for everyone to see, although this wasn't the first time a gallery rejected her. She always wanted to live her passion and to create a purpose in her pieces.

Her mind was all over the place, whirring uncontrollably. It wasn't the first but the more she got rejected the more she felt useless.

Sometime after reading the email, she woke up to the sound of loud knocking on her door. Raine stood up feeling groggy and disoriented walking up towards the door.

"Raine!" Khalil greeted hugging her tight.

Quickly she pulled away from him. Raine raised her eyebrow glaring at him. "Sorry, I just got excited. I couldn't wait to tell you, so I ran here immediately." Khalil expressed almost jumping in joy.

"What is it already?!" She crossed her arms growing impatient.

"Soooo... I know you're on your leave right? Ah by the way, how did it go with the gallery you were talking about last time?"

"Unimportant." Raine sighed, sadness evident in her voice.

"I'm sorry." He bit his lip looking down.

"Well, they don't deserve you!" Khalil continued shifting the topic easily. "A company I was sending emails back and forth with finally wants to settle things with us!"

"That hotel you occasionally mentioned?"

"Yes, exactly! They want us to go there and talk about you know... business matters." He smiled full with glee.

Raine gave him a confused look before he shouted, "You're going to Amsterdam!"

"What? I thought we were supposed to, like us? We're partners! Why is it only me?!" She asked, scrunching her brows.

"Yeah it was supposed to be us, but I got some other stuff to do."

"You're onto something." Raine replied, glaring at him.

"Look, I just need you to go there and seal the deal. That's it! You already had been there. That's no biggie!"

"Why can't you go? Plus, I WAS in Rotterdam not Amsterdam."

"Just please! You can speak Dutch, they're gonna love you! I just need you to cover for me badly." Khalil smiled nervously, took her hand pleading with her.

"Okay... when is it?"

"Yes! Thanks Raine you're the best!"

"I know, I am" She chuckled, giving in a small smile.
