Chapter 34
"Tagal mo naman, Attorney." bungad sa'kin ni Rey.
Wow, ha.
I hopped into his car.
I don't know what's with this Rey but, he made me agree again.
Rey is driving Mazro's car and Mazro is damn beside me.
Budol 'yong twenty minutes kahapon. I went back at the hotel at dawn.
I had fun.
Mazro's practice was ruined. We sang a lot together with his team. His coach just let us have the day and jammed with us. The band weren't Filipinos. Mazro called it a day for them and took over. He played the guitar and we sang some Filipino songs. The band only knew Mazro's Filipino songs.
Parang nag-concert na rin kami kahapon. We jammed all through out the day. Later in the evening they decided to have some drinks and I was about to go home when they invited me over. Hindi na ako nagpapilit pa. I already spent the day with them so it won't hurt if I'll also spend the night with them.
I drank a lot. We danced at the club and all I remember was having the best time of my life.
I can't fully remember what I did but, I got back at the hotel safely and it's all that matters.
Mazro checked me up this morning together with Rey if I'm fine and I was just experiencing a little bit of hangover. They stayed for some time. Rey then asked me for my plans today and I told him I'll go shopping. Ayun, nagpumilit siyang sumama kasama ang Sir niya. He wouldn't stop so I said yes.
Dave is calling.
"What's up?"
[Anong what's up? Ano? Okay ka lang ba diyan?] he said in a concerned tone.
"What's wrong? Okay lang naman ako."
[Sa'n ka ngayon?] he asked.
"Uhm... I'm about to go shopping."
[Are you in a cab?]
"No."
['Yong linya mo kasi parang nasa sasakyan ka.]
Shit.
"I'm in your b-brother's car." I said.
[Oh! Nagkita ba kayo diyan? It's his concert in two days.] Dave said.
"Yeah. He's in the same hotel that I'm into."
[Gano'n ba? Saya mo siguro diyan, ano?]
"Shut up, Dave!" I said.
Gosh! It was loud.
[Enjoy.] he said then ended the call.
"Dave! Hey!"
Parang tanga 'tong si Dave. Umiling ako at binalik sa bag ko ang phone.
"Are you fighting?" Mazro asked.
"You're out of it." sabi ko.
"Dito na tayo, Sir, Attorney!" sabi ni Rey.
Hindi siguro 'to nauubusan ng energy.
He parked the car and we all got out
"Susi mo, Sir." Rey handed the key.
"Diyan muna 'yan sa'yo. Bantayan mong maigi ang kotse." Mazro said.
"Hindi po ako kasama?"
"I just told you to drive."
"Sir naman. 'Kala ko makakagala ako."
