We arrived on the place called Zevil Island, and in order of arrival, we disembarked to begin the test. I was first. I walked off the boat and into the forest without a backwards glance.
I glanced at the number on my plaque again. It read 53, I flipped it up in the air and caught it. Sighing, I set off to find a place to sleep.
My target was the archer boy, it would take me .5 seconds to get the plaque from him, if I was being lazy, and I knew how utterly boring that would be. So I figured I'd at least let him get a head start so I'd have a bit of a hide and seek game before the disappointing confrontation.
With another heavy sigh I hopped up into a tree, and sat my small frame down on a forked branch, letting my legs dangle.
I leaned back and closed my eyes, ready to sleep. I heard something bellow me and cracked an eye open. Gon sat on the branch bellow me, staring intently at something. Quietly I lowered myself next to him.
He didn't notice. I frowned, He had to learn to be aware of his surroundings, even when concentrating, or he wouldn't be able to survive.
I followed his gaze and sweatdropped. There was my target, right bellow me, aiming at his target. This was a freaking target-ception.
Gon was evidently trying to learn the ways of hunting. I, who had been in the assassination business since younger than his age, already knew it well, but he was new to this, so I let him be and went off somewhere else.
I walked around for a few days, and happened upon Killua, being stalked my a skinny idiot who clearly thought he had the advantage. Plus another idiot hiding in the trees, who actually had the advantage, but was trying too hard to be a ninja.
The brat may be insufferable, but I acknowledged his skill for someone his age. I hopped next to him, and to the casual observer, it would have looked like I appeared next to him form nowhere.
"Hey Dandelion, and how's your day?" I asked. He scowled "I was hoping someone had killed you by now" he said.
I fake pouted "Aw, that's not very nice, and here I was worried about you brat" I said, but I couldn't hide the amusement in my tone.
He snorted and I glanced at him. "You know there's a-" "Yup" "And another one-" "Of course" I nodded aproval.
"I commend both your ability to sense them, and your ability to cut me off mid sentence, most people don't survive the latter" I said, putting on a serious face, but the twitching corners of my mouth gave me away.
He rolled his eyes "Wow, don't I feel special" he said, sarcasm dripping from his words. "You should, not many people manage to tick me off like you do Dandelion brat" I laughed.
He groaned "I could say the same, and could you please stop calling me that?" he said. I pretended to think about it "Hm.........No" I smiled brightly and he sweatdropped.
"Well, I'll leave you to take care of the rodents, hope you die brat~" I said, waving as I walked away. "Same to you hag!" he said.
An unexplained anvil fell from the tree above him and hit him over the head. "It's Karma brat, she likes you!" I called over my shoulder.
Finally ready to start my own hunt, I set out. The sun set as I leisurely strolled through the forest. Around midnight I twitched, feeling a familiar creepy aura.
I smacked my forehead and let out a gusty sigh "I hate being an older sister~" I said, a whiny tone entering my voice.
Pulled away from my task, I walked toward the creepiness. I came upon Hisoka, standing facing a tree. He was completely still.
