Chapter 14

** Janet's P.O.V **

I begin to wake up, like every day Roger was gone. I head downstairs, Roger was arguing with Igor and Evelyn at the table

"Igor what the hell were you thinking?! I told you to kill Katrina not Carol!" Roger yelled angered

"I didn't kill Carol I just shot her, I then went back and got her. I kidnapped the real doctor and made him work on her, she'll be fine. I hired a fake doctor who tricked Zasha, he knocked her unconscious and now her and Carol are locked in a shed in the woods. If Zasha doesn't come back on our side we'll sell her out to America. They'll want her since she was a Russian spy" Igor smirked

"Okay but what about Governor Semenov? We have to get him out too" Roger asks

"Simple, we'll kill him. I'll shoot him in the solar plexus, it will go right into his lungs and he'll die. I'll take care of Katrina too, don't worry Roger. You'll get your wife back" Igor answers

"Oh Roger, looks like we got a little spy" Evelyn smirked, she must have seen me

I duck back behind the wall, I hear footsteps coming towards me. I freeze, Igor was Katrina's shooter. I had to go warn the Govenor about what was happening.

"Janet what are you doing?" Roger asks

"I.. was.. um.. look Zasha is at the door!" I lie

The second Roger spins around I run upstairs, I rush upstairs and into his room. I shut the door and scoot the dresser in front of it, Roger starts pounding on the door

"Janet! Open the door right now!" Roger yells

"No! You're going to hurt me because I found out your secret! You promised me you knew nothing!" I yell

"You're damn right I'm gonna hurt you! You were spying on me!" Roger yells as he punches a hole through the door

"You lied to me!" I exclaimed

"You lied to me too!" Roger yells as he starts ripping pieces of the door off

I quickly run over to the window and open it, I jump onto the roof and start heading towards the ladder. I hear Roger yelling as I leave

"Igor! Quickly go to the Govenor's office! You have to beat Janet before she tells him and ruins our plan!" Roger exclaimed

I quickly rush down the ladder, I start running as fast as I can towards where Katrina had took me for my first day of training, I rush inside out of breath and up to the desk.

"I.. nee..d t..o ta..l..k t..o gove..no..r sem..eno..v" I say between gasps for air

"Name?" Asks the worker

"J..an..et Ru..ss..el" I answer

"One second" answers the worker

I nod and continue to catch my breath, I had almost caught my breath when Igor entered the building. I freeze

"Alright Ms. Russel Governor Semenov will see you now, 9th floor 3rd door" the worker tells me

I nod and walk to the elevator, Igor starts talking to the worker. I quickly press the button that will take me to the ninth floor as the elevator door closes, I breathe a sigh of relief. I had made it on time

I run to Governor Semenov's office the second the elevator door opens, I rush inside

"Janet! It's so great to see you, what's going on?" Governor Semenov asks

"They're after you! I ran all the way here! They have a plan to kill you! Igor shot Katrina and Carol! And they plan on selling Zasha out to the US government! We have a lot of problems!" I exclaimed
