** Katrina's P.O.V **
"Morning Katrina, you're up earlier than usual" Carol greets me with a smile
"Da I couldn't sleep, I just had a gut renching feeling that something was wrong..." I answer
"I'm sure it's just your mind playing tricks on you, here I made you some breakfast before you go to work" Carol smiles as she hands me a plate
"Thanks Carol, what time is it?" I ask as I start eating
"It's 7:30, I have to leave in 15 minutes" Carol answers as she takes a sip of wine
"Okay, be careful and tell me everything once you get home. I think the feeling that kept me up had something to do with Janet. If it's strange then call me, I'll rush over" I answer
"Okay Katrina, but I'm sure it was nothing" Carol smiles
We finish eating breakfast, Carol looks at her watch and places her plate into the sink. She comes over and hugs me
"I have to go, I'll see you later Katrina. Love you" Carol smiles
"Call me" I smile as I kiss Carol
"I will!" Carol exclaims happily as she walks out the door.
I start walking to work, I notice a young puppy limping on the side of the road. I walk over and start checking it out, it's leg was swollen. I pick it up, it whines in pain. I walk back to my house and place it on the couch, I take a picture of it.
"Why waste money at a vet when I can just have Evelyn check it out?" I mumble as I call Evelyn
"Hello?" Evelyn asks as she answers
"Hey Ev it's Katrina, I was on my way to work when I found a hurt dog. Can you take a look at it?" I ask
"Katrina I'm a doctor not a vet, take it to the vet" Evelyn answers
"But the vet costs alot" I sigh
"Katrina stop being a cheapskate and take it to the vet! Wait even longer and it will cost you more" Evelyn answers
"Can you come home and take it? I gotta get to work. I'll excuse you for the day" I answer
"Okay fine, I'll be there in 15" Evelyn answers
"Great, after you take it to the vet you can bring it back here. It will be our new dog, considering we never brought our old dogs here" I answer
"Okay Katrina" Evelyn answers as she hangs up
I begin my walk to work again, once I arrive President Semenov was waiting for me.
"You're late, its not like you to be late everything okay?" President Semenov asks
"Da I just had to take care of something" I answer as I sit down
"Great, because we have a conference in 30 minutes. Where's Janet? We need the Govenor too" President Semenov answers
"Long story, Roger stole her from me AGAIN and we don't have a Govenor right now" I answer
"Well we need one, unless you plan on running both jobs by yourself" President Semenov answers
"Da I'll take over both jobs, it can't be that hard" I answer
"Have fun with that" President Semenov answers in a sarcastic tone
My phone rings, It was from Carol, I got a bad feeling instantly. I answer it quickly, it was not what I expected..
"Hello?" I ask
