** Katrina's P.O.V **
"Good morning love" I smile as Carol burries into my chest
"Morning..." Carol yawns
"Do you want to sleep longer? You need extra rest" I remind her
"Whatever you want..." Carol answers as she closes her eyes
A few minutes after Carol had fallen back to sleep I was about to sleep again, Carol starts whimpering and brutally shaking in her sleep.
"She must be dreaming about Janet...." I sigh as I quickly start stroking her back and whispering encouraging things into her ear.
Carol burries her head into my chest and continues to whimper and shake, I continue to stroke her back until she bolts up. I hold my arms out as she weakly collapses into my arms and lays her head onto my chest.
"What were you dreaming about love?" I ask curiosly
"I think Janet's dead..." Carol admits
"Pfft what makes you say that?" I laugh
"S..She was in my dreams..." Carol answers
"I'm sure you were just dreaming, you've been shaking and whimpering in your sleep. Don't worry, I will always be here for you my love" I smile
"Katrina I want you to listen to me okay...?" Carol asks with a nervous expression
"Go on" I smile
"Katrina I love you dearly, you have always been here for me. But.... I want Janet... I've been all she has had for a few months now... we're really close to eachother... we love eachother.." Carol sighs
My heart broke into a million pieces, how could Carol say that...?!? I found her first! She would've never dated Janet if it wasn't for me!! I was angered, I was hurt, and I was sad.
"B..But you, Janet and I have been in a relationship..." I sigh
"Katrina I love you, but I favour Janet over you... I'm sorry..." Carol sighs
I just hug Carol and hold her close to my body, I then passionately kiss her. I loved her....
"Let's go on a walk" I suggest
"Okay... but I might... need some help.." Carol sighs
"Anything for my love" I smile as I stand up
I then pick Carol up and hold her in my arms, she lays her head on my chest. I smile and kiss her forehead, I hold onto her. I walk into the living room, the kids were on the couch.
"Good morning kids...." Carol smiles
"Good morning mother, mom Carol" Misha greets us
"We're going to go on a walk, take care of eachother" I smile as I head out the door
"Katrina should we... check on what Riley saw in that ditch yesterday...?" Carol asks
"Only if you want to love" I answer
"Please let us..." Carol sighs
I start walking towards the ditch we had passed by yesterday, I look down towards it. Riley was right, there was something in it, but it wasn't just a dead animal or trash, it was a person!
"Hold shit its a person!" I exclaim
"Go check on them!" Carol exclaims
"Okay, stay here!" I exclaim as I place Carol down
