** TIME SKIP: 5 MONTHS LATER **
** Carol's P.O.V **
"Oh my God how did Katrina do this this is exhausting..." I mumble to myself
After Katrina had jumped off the cliff and I had told Vice President Semenov about it he had asked for me to tell Janet she would take over, thats when I had to tell him about Janet, Zasha, and Marie... he then told me I would take over Katrina's job, it was not what I expected....
"Hey Carol, how are you doing?" Vice President Semenov asks as he enters my office
"I'm doing fine, still haven't gotten over Janet or Katrina though..." I sigh
"That's completely understandable, you loved them. It will take more than a few months to get over them" Vice President Semenov encourages me
"Your meeting with President Kozlov is in 30 minutes, are you ready?" Vice President Semenov asks
"Isnt that tomorrow??" I ask
"Niet, it's today" Vice President Semenov answers
"Shit! That completely skipped my mind!" I exclaim
"Relax, you'll do fine. Come on" Vice President Semenov smiles
"Okay.." I hesitately answer
We head to the President's office, I nervously enter once we arrive. President Kozlov greets me with a smile
"Privet" he greets me
"H..hello" I nervously smile
"I brought you here because we need more spies, we're very low. I want you to recrute people you trust, I have a few people that will also be great at job. My daughter and her boyfriend, Brooke! Come on out!" President Kozlov exclaims
I freeze as Roger and Brooke walk out with a smirk on their faces, I couldn't pick them! But I had to, the President said it was best...
"Oh Hello Carol" Roger smirks
"You two know eachother?" President Kozlov asks
"Yea, we're practically best friends. Right Carol?" Roger smirks
"Y..yeah.." I stutter nervously, I normally would've risked getting fired but the next in line at the moment was Igor and I was NOT letting him have this job
"Great! Then they can start training!" President Kozlov exclaims happily
"Y..yeah.. they'll start immediately.." I answer
"Anyway, who do you have in mind Governor?" President Kozlov asks
"I honestly haven't thought about it, I've been too busy assigning tasks. I apologize" I apologize
"That's fine, we'll find some more" President Kozlov smiles
"I'll do it" I hear someone say as they enter the room
"No way..." I mumble, it couldn't be... could it?
** Janet's P.O.V **
"W..what happened..?" I mumble as I sit up
"JANET! YOU'RE AWAKE!" Zasha exclaims happily as she hugs me
"What happened..? Where's Carol..?" I ask, instantly worried about Carol
"You were shot 5 months ago, Evelyn saved your life" Zasha answers
"So where is she...? And Marie...?" I ask
"They're out getting food, I insisted on staying with you. I didn't want to leave you alone" Zashs answers
Without a second thought I lay my head onto Zasha's shoulder, I feel Zasha wrap her arm around me. I instantly realize what I did, I pull away quickly
