Chapter 21

** Katrina's P.O.V **

I begin to wake up, I felt pain all over my body. I couldn't remember anything except one thing, Janet was dead.

"Carol..?" I mumble as I sit up

"Katrina! You're awake! I was so worried!" Carol exclaims as she holds me close to her

"What happened..?" I ask

"You were beat up, I patched you up though. You're awake now that's all that matters!" Carol answers

"Janet is dead" I say

"What? No Katrina Janet is alive" Carol answers

"Niet, Janet is dead" I answer

"Katrina you saw Janet with your own eyes, Janet is alive" Carol replies

"Niet, Janet is dead" I answer

"Katrina are you okay??" Carol asks

"Da, are you okay? Did anybody hurt you while I was gone? I will kill them" I ask

"Katrina I'm fine, nobody hurt me I spent the whole time looking for you" Carol answers

"I apologize for worrying you Carol, but don't worry I'll be protecting you from now on with no more interruptions" I smile at Carol

"Katrina I need you to tell me what you remember that happened" Carol tells me

"I'm sorry Carol I don't remember anything... all I remember is Janet is dead" I answer

"How did Janet die?" Carol asks

"I don't remember... all I remember is Janet is dead.." I admit

"Janet and Evelyn are coming over" Marie alerts us as she walks into the room

"Who is this Janet person?" I ask

"Katrina I'm telling you Janet's not dead" Carol tells me

"Janet is dead" I say

"Katrina... when Janet comes over just don't run out of the building again okay? You scared me half to death last time you did that" Carol admits

"I will try to not leave" I smile as I nuzzle up against Carol

"Katrina, do you recognize the person in this picture?" Carol asks as she shows me a picture of myself and Janet

"Da, that's Janet" I answer

"Yeah that is Janet, at least you can remeber her.." Carol sighs

"Da I could never forget her, but she is dead" I sigh as I nuzzle closer to Carol

"They're here!" Carol and I hear Marie yell from the other room

"Come on Katrina, you're about to see Janet" Carol smiles

"Niet, Janet is dead" I answer

"Just come on" Carol sighed as she helps me up from the bed

I cling onto Carol as we walk into the other room, I see a woman sitting with a woman who seemed very familiar...

I suddenly remembered, that was Janet... but she was dead! Wasn't she..?

Janet walks over to me, she hugs me tightly. I still held Carol in my sight, I was confused a bit..

"It's okay Katrina... you can be with Carol..." Janet mumbled into my ear

"See Katrina? I told you Janet was alive" Carol smiles

"I don't understand.... why did you wait so long to tell me..? Am I not important to you anymore..?" I ask

"Katrina... I couldn't tell you... I wasn't allowed to leave the house, Roger was keeping me captive. You're very important to me, I'm sorry... If I could have told you sooner I would have..." Janet sighs
