** Carol's P.O.V **
We have been out here 3 days, we hadn't been rescued yet. Zasha had been more clingy, and I was starting to notice her better traits. Janet hadn't been able to stay conscious longer than an hour before she would lose consciousness again, we had to get out of here...
"Zasha?" I ask
"Da?" Zasha answers
"It's time we try your idea...." I answer nervously
"But we can't leave Janet here" Zasha answers
"I'll stay with her... you go and try to find civilisation" I answer
"I'm not leaving you two behind, what if bear comes? You'll need me to help you" Zasha answers
"Zasha we've been here 3 days, nobody has came for us. You have to go find help before we starve, plus I'm tired of drinking lake water" I answer
"I'll find food" Zasha answers
"Zasha please go find help..." I beg
"I don't want to leave you alone... what if I never see you alive again..?" Zasha asks nervously
"You'll see me alive again if you go find help, if you don't than we'll all die here" I point out
"I don't want to leave you alone!" Zasha exclaims
"Fine, you stay with Janet. I'll go find help" I answer
"Niet that's dangerous!!" Zasha exclaims
"Well one of us is going for help" I answer
"Why can't both of us go for help?" Zasha asks
"Because one of us has to stay with Janet!" I exclaim
"Why can't we leave her here??" Zasha asks
"Zasha we've been over this... I'm not leaving Janet here!" I exclaim, I loved Janet to death.
"C..Carol..?" I hear Janet asks
"I'll be right back" I tell Zasha as I limp over to the overhang and lay next to Janet
"I'm here JanJan" I smile
"H..has anyone came...?" Janet asks with a hopeful expression
"No..." I sigh
"I.. I want you and Zasha to go get help.... l..leave me here..." Janet answers
"What?? Janet I'm not doing that! You'd die!" I exclaim
"W..well from the looks of it thats whats gonna happen to you if you don't go...." Janet answers as she glances at my stomach
It was bad enough we all hadn't eaten the whole time we'd been out here, but I hadn't eaten for 5 days due to Janet getting shot. I wrap my arms around her waist and pull her closer to my body.
"It doesn't matter how I look, I'm not leaving you here. I'll carry you before I leave you here" I answer as I kiss her forehead
"C..Carol I love you.... but I'm dead weight... might as well just drop me here..." Janet sighs
"You're not dead weight! You're very helpful to us!" I exclaim as I start showering Janet with affection
"C..Carol.. you're giving me too much affection..." Janet laughs
"You can never have too much affection" I smile
"I.. I love you..." Janet smiles weakly
"We have to get some food... you're practically skin and bones.." I sigh
