It was a normal day at Mount Justice meaning Bart was annoying the hell out of me. He seemed to be getting lessons from Wally and I'm pretty sure it was the worst choice he had ever made in his life.

"Hey Y/n. Whoa are those galaxy pants? Cuz you're out of this world" He said entering the living room with a wink

I sighed but then thought of the perfect comeback "No Bart, these are baseball shorts because I'm out of your league"

Beast-boy, Robin and Blue Beetle who were beside me started making oohing sounds while Bart just huffed and crossed his arms

"Oh so you think you can out-pick-up line me?" He asked me defensively

I thought for a moment and then replied confidently "Yes. Yes I do"

The oohing noises intensified and I stood up to face him. He was obviously taller than me but I stood my ground against him.

"Alright then. Let's do this. Are you Australian? Because you meet all of my koalafications." He said staring down at me

"I'd like to take you to the movies, but they don't let you bring in your own snacks." I said taking a step closer to him

"You and I are like nachos with jalapeños. I'm super cheesy, you're super hot, and we belong together." He said, taking a step closer to me and I cringed at the terrible joke

I responded with "Your eyes are like IKEA. I'm always lost in them."

As the fight went on we got closer and closer to each other until we were only a couple steps away. 

"Are you a long structure used to restrict the flow of water across rivers and underwater streams? Because daaaaaaaaam!" He said taking a step closer to me. 

At this point the whole team was watching our 'debate'

"Are you a camera? Because every time I look at you, I smile." I said taking a step closer to him

"Do you like Star Wars? Because Yoda only one for me!" Bart said to me

"Kiss me if I'm wrong, but dinosaurs still exist right"

Those were the last words that I said until I took the last step towards him. I was waiting for a reply but it didn't come. Instead He crashed his lips to mine and I immediately kissed back. I could hear the surprised shouts of everyone around us and it seemed like time was slowed, it was probably because of his superspeed. 

It made this strange feeling of pleasure spread through my body as I tangled my hands into his auburn soft hair while he snaked his arms around my waist. Eventually we had to separate for oxygen (Damn you oxygen 🙄😑😒) and suddenly I was staring into the green eyes of the gorgeous boy in front of me. I jumped up and hugged him and he hugged me back.

"That was nice" He whispered and I went red 

"Agreed, we should do it again sometime" I whispered back to him.

When the hug ended we looked at the team and almost all of them had their mouths open but some of them were smirking.

"I knew it" Nightwing said to us with a knowing smile 

"Dude" Jaime started "Did you just get a girl with pick-up lines?"

We looked at each other and smiled

"Yes. Yes I did"
