Chapter 16 TWO CATS TO EAT SCABBERS

Y/n's pov

I woke up the next morning to Amaret meowing in my face. I pick her up and get out of bed. I was still in the cloths I had on yesterday but I need to get Amaret cat food.

I walk down to grandma Minnie's room. She was not on there so I walked to the common room to see if she was in there. Once I got there I see Hermione.

"Hey Hermione."

"Hey y/n where did you get the cat."

"Grandma Minnie gave her to me for Christmas."

"What's her name?"

"Amaret."

"Can I hold her?"

"Sure hold her while I go ask grandma Minnie where her food is."

I walk over to Hermione and put Amaret in her lap. I walk out of the common room and to grandma Minnie's office. Once I open the door I see grandma at her desk.

"Hey grandma Minnie where is the cat food."

"Over there in the second drawer."

I walk to where she pointed. In the second drawer there was cat food. After picking it up and thanking grandma Minnie I headed back to the common room to get Amaret.
Once I got there I heard yelling.

"TWO CATS AFTER SCABBERS NOW TWO I DONT THINK HE'LL LIVE ANOTHER DAY."

Geez Ron calm down.

I walk through the portrait. There stood Hermione holding Amaret and crookshank. On the other side of the room Ron was holding scabbers.

"Hey guys."

"Hey y/n here is Amaret."

"Thanks."

I take Amaret from Hermione. I put the cat food down on the ground and put Amaret down with it. As soon as Amaret's paws touched the floor she ran up to her food.

"Now why where you yelling again."

"You cat tryed to eat scabbers and so did Hermione's."

"Brilliant." I say tiredly.

Amaret finished her food and was now meowing at my feet. I pick her up.

"Hello my baby Amaret." I say talking to my kitten.

I grab her empty bowl of food and place it on the table next to the couch.

"Let's go get breakfast." A sleepy voice says coming from the boys stairs.

I turn around and see harry rubbing his eyes. We all head out of the portrait. We meet the twins on the way. They were discussing a prank that they were going to do on Ron.

"No fair why do you never get pranked y/n?" Ron complains.

"Because I am a prankster." I answer simply.

We eat breakfast then head outside. The rest of the day was filled with pranking people with the twins, play outside, sitting by the fire in the common room, and playing with Amaret.

A/n
This was a horrible chapter but I wanted to show that Amaret is also going after scabbers.
