"You know you can't ignore him forever" Griffin said looking over his shoulder at Sydney "I know, but I can for right now" Sydney replied "I just, need a bit of time where he isn't bothering me so.. I just need a breather from him" Sydney explained sitting down next to Griffin. Sydney thought that if she ignored her dad, he would just stop calling but, he didn't. She can't be near her phone anymore, it's just constantly ringing. Even if she silenced it, it's constantly vibrating saying Wyatt is calling. "He just doesn't understand the meaning of personal space, or privacy for that matter" Sydney said "Just.. Let it sit with him for a bit. He'll get it eventually" Griffin reassured "He's coming back tonight, he's gonna be pissed" Sydney sighed "I'll talk to him, tel him that you just need space" Griffin replied "Don't get involved" Sydney warned "I've been involved since my first day working here, it's my job to protect you.. For ANYTHING, even your own father's anger" Griffin explained "I get that but.." "If you get it, then why are we still talking about this" Griffin budded in "We're not" Sydney ended "Good." Griffin replied
Sydney and Griffin were both busy all day, Sydney had work to finish for her job and Griffin was getting calls all day from other business owners that worked for large companies that need a bodyguard or protection. Sydney was finished her days work and it was around 5pm so she went to see Griffin, since he was basically works whenever he gets a call. As she walked down to the living room, she saw Griffin on a call. "Yes sir, I will send someone right away" Griffin said softly "No sir, I'm sorry I can't be there myself but I will send one of my colleagues over to your location" Griffin explained "Sir I cam't... No ma'am that isn't needed. Okay I will send him right away" Griffin said. Griffin hing up the phone and sighed in frustration "Are you okay?" Sydney asked "Yeah, it's just work. People don't understand that I can't be there myself, since I am here with you" Griffin explained "That sounds like an inconvenience" Sydney sighed "No, no. Look, I'm sorry, I didn't mean it like that. It's just, I'm stressed about everything for work and I just need a second to chill" Griffin explained "Well, you have all the seconds you need. I'll just be upstairs to let you be" Sydney said turning away. Griffin looked at her as she walked back to the stairs, "No,no. Sydney.. wait" He said as he grabbed her hand stopping her from walking upstairs "You said you needed space, so.." Sydney faded "No, I want you here" He said "Why" Sydney said stepping off the stairs "Cause now, I feel bad" He said softly "he said softly "Your stressed, I'll give you a second" Sydney sighed "No" Griffin demanded "O-Okay, fine. I'll stay" Sydney gave in.
Griffin walked away and Sydney followed him and they sat down on the couch, "So what now?" Sydney asked "I don't know" Griffin replied in a rude tone "Well, then I don't know either" Sydney said "You know we don't have to do everything I want to, just because I don't doesn't mean you can't do whatever you want" Griffin yelled "Why are you yelling?" Sydney asked "Because I'm pissed off" Griffin replied "Griffin.. come on" Sydney said softly "Don't Griffin me!" He said "Hey, calm down. Look I get your stressed but, that doesn't mean you can't take a break" Sydney said "Yes it does, I have to work day in and day out. I get calls at midnight and I HAVE to take them and if I don't then-" Griffin was cut off by Sydney kissing him and he was shocked, Sydney broke it and looked at Griffin with a warm smile.
