"I'M THE REASON HE'S GONE. IF I ACTUALLY TREATED HIM LIKE A FATHER MAYBE HE WOULD'VE BEEN HERE!" Sydney shouted crying "Hey, hey, no, no" Griffin said hugging her, when Griffin hugged Sydney her knees gave out and she fell "Whoa, whoa, hey" Griffin said placing her on the floor and sitting down with her "Oh, Sydney" Griffin sighed hugging her, Sydney sobbed in his arms not being able to hold back her feeling anymore "Shh, shh, Sydney calm down. I got you" Griffin reassured her. Sydney kept crying in his arms and Griffin held her tight and just kept reassuring her that it wasn't her fault and that she was okay. After awhile Sydney stopped sobbing but tears wouldn't stop flowing down her cheeks, Griffin knew that Sydney could build up this much to a point where she'd snap but she has never snapped this bad before. Sydney sat back up and sniffled a few times while looking at the floor, "Hey" Griffin said lifting her cheek "It's okay" He reassured, Sydney nodded slightly and looked back down at the floor, Griffin moved over and hugged her again. Sydney put her head on his chest and sighed still shaking "It's okay, I'm here" Griffin whispered "Why does this hurt so bad?" Sydney whispered to herself but Griffin heard "Grief is normal, what you're going through may not feel normal if you have never gone through something like this" Griffin explained. Sydney nodded and snuggled closer to him, Griffin sighed in a somewhat relieving way but also in a scared way.

Two hour later...

"Mmh, G-Griffin?" Sydney yawned waking up "Oh, hey. How're you feeling?" Griffin asked "I-I'm okay, what are you doing?" She asked with her eyes barely open "Work.. Did I wake you?" Griffin asked in a concerned voice "No, I just woke up. Why are you working at... Ugh, 4:30 in the morning?" Sydney whined checking her phone "I don't know, I just couldn't sleep so I started working" Griffin replied "Well, come on. Go back to sleep" Sydney said sitting up and putting her head on his shoulder "One second just let me finish-" "No, now. You know you're going to be exhausted" Sydney cut in. Sydney closed his laptop and Griffin put it back on his desk before coming back to bed and laying down. Sydney put her head on his chest and sighed, Griffin hugged her and was about to close his eyes when Sydney said something "Griffin?" Sydney said "Yeah" He replied "Thank you, for helping me and just being here to make sure I stay center" Sydney explained "Hey, don't thank me. I love you and I'll be here whenever you need me" Griffin reassured "Yeah" Sydney sighed closing her eyes.

Four hours later...

Sydney and Griffin were sitting on the couch laughing and chatting when Sydney got up to grab some water and Griffin turned the TV on and the first thing he saw was the official story of Wyatt's death and what he saw was terrible. As the story ran Sydney came back with the cups of water and when she saw the news she froze, Griffin didn't notice her and when she heard how Wyatt's accident actually happened she broke even more "News officials are confirming that Wyatt Matthew's death was not an accident but a pre-planned kill. We'll have more soon" As Sydney heard the news reporter say that her dad's death was more than accident she teared up and one of the cup fell out her hand and it caught Griffin's attention when the glass broke "Oh, hey, hey. No, no, hey. Look at me, you're fine. That's nothing, you're fine" Griffin reassured. Sydney kept her cool and took a deep breath to calm herself "There good, in and out good" Griffin instructed. All that was running through Sydney's mind was that her dad's death was planned, she new he had enemies but not so much so that they would kill him.. And who would go to such an extent to kill her father?
