"GRIFFIN!" Sydney called out, "Where is he?" Sydney thought in a panic, Sydney ran out front looking for Griffin when she noticed his car was gone. She knew that he wouldn't leave her but if he was going for an errand he would leave a note, but he didn't. Sydney started frantically searching the house just to find nothing, and that is when she started to panic. She thought that Griffin left her alone, that he abandoned her, Sydney was so lost in thought that she hadn't realized she started crying she was backing up until she hit the living room wall, she paused for a second before sliding her back down and sitting on the floor. Sydney was shaking and crying, she was crying so bad that she was shaking. She was on the floor for about 5 minutes before Griffin opened the door and walked, but Sydney being lost in thought, didn't realize.

Griffin shut the door and took his coat off and turned back to walk away but what he saw broke his heart, he saw Sydney, on the floor, shaking like a leaf. He put his bag down and rushed over to where she was, "Sydney? Hey, hey." Griffin said rushing to her and kneeling down "Hey" He repeated reaching out and touching her knee "DON'T TOUCH ME!" Sydney screamed, Griffin jumped but realized that she was just scared "Hey, it's just me" Griffin whispered. Sydney looked up and saw a very concerned and worried Griffin, "G-Griffin?" Sydney stuttered "Yes baby, it's just me" He said "Oh my" She sighed hugging him "Hey, hey. What's wrong" Griffin asked as he hugged her back, Griffin waited for a response but instead he heard Sydney start to cry. "Sydney? Hey, what happened?" Griffin asked, Sydney didn't answer and just hugged him tighter "Baby, hey" Griffin said pulling away a bit "Sydney look at me" Griffin said, Sydney looked up and she was nearly balling her eyes out at this point "Oh, Sydney" Griffin whispered hugging her again "I-I.." Sydney stuttered "Hey, shh. Breath, I'm right here" Griffin reassured "I thought you left me" Sydney cried "Left you? Baby, I was outside" Griffin questioned "B-but I check and you weren't there" Sydney stated breaking the hug "Yes I was, I was at the end of the drive way" Griffin responded "I-I checked" Sydney stuttered "Well, it was dark so it makes sense why you couldn't see me" Griffin stated. Sydney looked at Griffin and her eyes were all red, her cheeks were flushed and she looked like she'd been crying for hours "I hate seeing you like this" Griffin sighed. Sydney hugged Griffin again but Griffin picked her up and sat on the couch, he sat down and he cuddled her.

Sydney was still sniffling here and there but she was calmer, "You're not shaking as much, are you okay now?" Griffin asked "I-I think so" Sydney replied "I never asked. What got you so worked up anyway?" Griffin asked "I had a nightmare, and when I woke up you weren't here so I got scared" Sydney stated "Oh, what was the nightmare about?" Griffin asked "You took me somewhere and we were arguing and yelling. And you-" Sydney paused "I what?" Griffin asked "I what, Sydney?" He persisted "You slapped me, and it felt so real. And when i woke up and you weren't here, I thought our argument happened and I just didn't know what to do" Sydney explained "Oh, Sydney. I would never do that, I would never slap you" Griffin reassured "And I know.." Griffin paused and kissed Sydney softly "I know that I would never leave you" He whispered "I know, I just got scared" Sydney repeated "I know, I know. But I'm here now and you can relax" Griffin reassured "And Griffin?" Sydney asked "Hm" He hummed "I love you"
