"Sydney" Griffin whispered "Hey, baby" He said again shaking her "Mmh, no" Sydney whined "Hey, look at me" Griffin whispered, Sydney looked over at him and saw him dressed "What are you doing?" She whispered "I have to go help one of my clients, I might be gone for a few hours" Griffin replied, Sydney rolled over to check the time and it said it has 1:32 in the morning, "Griffin, it's 1:32 in the morning. Who would need help this early?" Sydney asked "I know, but I have to go. I'll leave a note in the kitchen for when you wake up in case you forget what I told you okay?" Griffin said "Fine whatever" Sydney sighed "Hey" Griffin whispered, Sydney rolled over and got an unexpected kiss from Griffin, when Griffin broke the kiss he put his forehead against hers "I love you" He whispered "I'll be back soon" He said pulling away and walking out. Sydney rolled back over and went back to sleep, but before she did she grabbed one of Griffin's t-shirts and put it on.
10 hours later...
Sydney was watching TV when she heard the door open, she turned around and saw a very tired and stressed Griffin, she stood up and walked over to him to make sure he was okay "Hey" Sydney said hugging him "Hi baby" Griffin said in a very tired tone "Oh, Griffin" Sydney sighed. Griffin pulled out and walked upstairs. Sydney left him be but after 10 minutes she went to check on him and found him sleeping, she crawled over beside him and went under the covers with him and cuddled him. Sydney actually ended up falling asleep again. After a while Sydney woke up and saw Griffin laying next to her, she rolled over and began staring at him without realizing. "If I am that handsome then kiss me" Griffin said in a husky tired voice, Sydney jumped back and lightly blushed as Griffin opened his eyes to see her back to him. He hugged he and layed his head in the crook of her neck "Good evening" He said "H-hi" She stuttered. Sydney turned around and faced him and hugged him, Griffin wrapped one hand around her waist and the other around her head. Griffin let out a sigh before speaking "I'm sorry I left" Griffin said "It's fine, where did you go anyway?" Sydney asked "I had to go help my dad with work stuff. But because we had to go all the way downtown and all the way back up then traffic was like a hell. It doubled how long we expected it to take and that is why I was gone for so long" Griffin explained "That makes more sense" Sydney sighed snuggling closer to him, "What did you do while I was gone?" Griffin asked but got no response "Sydney?" He questioned pulling out a little. When he did he was met with a sleeping Sydney, "Aww" He whispered, he covered her with a blanket and layed down with her and actually fell asleep himself.
The Next Morning
"Mmh, Hmm?" Sydney whined waking up, Sydney looked up and saw Griffin still sleeping so she cuddled with him but was on her phone, whole she was on her phone she didn't realize the Griffin had moved his hand. He grabbed her phone and put it away, he rolled over and hugged her "That's too bright" He whined "Oh, I'm sorry baby" Sydney said softly "Why are you up so early?" Griffin asked "It's not that... or it's 6:30 in the morning" Sydney sighed. Sydney looked up at the ceiling thinking, Griffin looked at her and he could tell something was bugging her "What's wrong?" Griffin asked "Hmm? Oh it's nothing" Sydney said "That's a lie. We both know it's something, so what is it?" He asked "I promise it's nothing" Sydney reassured. Griffin sighed and look at Sydney with a "Really?" face. "I promise" She repeated "If your lying, I'm gonna be upset" Griffin said "I promise I'm fine" Sydney lied...
