A few days passed since Griffin and Sydney had their argument and they still weren't talking, at first Griffin thought if Wyatt left for work she would open up but she rarely ever left her room and when she did she was either going for food or going to the backyard with their dog for some fresh air. Every time Griffin wanted to talk to Sydney, he couldn't even get close to her without her walking to another room. Sydney was still pretty upset because of what happened but she just couldn't face Griffin yet, she just couldn't bare the thought of talking to him in case something stirred up again. But now Griffin wanted to talk, he needed to. Sydney was already out of her room so he took his chance to talk to her for once at least, he walked out to the kitchen where she was and she didn't notice him yet. "Hey" Griffin said softly walking next to her "Hey..." She replied not looking at him "Look, I think we need to talk" Griffin said "Yeah, we do" Sydney replied finally looking at him. She looked back for a second before speaking again, "I'm sorry" They said in-sync, "You go first" Griffin advised "Look, I over reacted. You were just trying to cheer me up and I just shut you down, and I shut you out. I even blamed you for it, even though I knew it was my fault" Sydney apologized in detail "Hey, that was not your fault, I knew that you ans your dad aren't the closest but I still expected you to be happy. I knew that you don't particularly like him and I wasn't thinking at the time" Griffin explained 

After days of avoiding each other, Griffin and Sydney finally came to their senses about the situation and were able to talk about it and understand each others perspectives talked about what was going through their minds at the time. After a few minutes they decided to just forget about it and move on from it, as they did that they almost went back to normal but as they talked Wyatt came home from "work". He didn't bother telling them he just went to his room and shut the door leaving them somewhat dumbfounded in the kitchen but they honestly didn't care. They walked him walk away and once he shut him door they started laughing a bit.

A Few Hours Later..

Sydney had spent most of the day chilling with Griffin since her dad wasn't really around to care about what she was doing, Griffin had started to watch and movie around 10:30 and when it ended Sydney had fallen asleep on Griffin's shoulder. He was careful not to wake her and he took her to bed, he tucked her in and walked out. he whispered something to her as he left for bed himself, "Goodnight Sydney.. I love you"
